La la Chicken

PS: Another non political post to satisfy the demands of our dear readers ( this one is dedicated to Sonyah )

Another “famous” place to go to in Lebanon .. el “Lala”
This 1967 small restaurant only does chicken sandwiches, does not even serve potatoes with them, yet is highly frequented and his prices are not cheap at all considering the small size of his sandwich. ( 3500LL the sandwich)

Its quite funny how the Lebanese idiolize those places even though there is nothing that special about them, such places are becoming part of our tradition and its a good ‘tradition’ for a change.

Honestly though, i didnt like his sandwiches quite much, i prefer Boubouffe for such sandwiches. ( Another old restaurant but quality one).

Lala is in Achrafieh on the street behind Spinneys, just ask anyone there and they ll tell you.

    Malak al Tawook…great sandwiches and best value for money.I just hope that the owner is a non-M8′er cause I am spending lots of my money there!

    just jarbo tawouk Masaad in zahleh ( 7ad metraniyit el kwetle ) w choufo eno ra2i3.
    price 3000 bass 3ala tabliye ktir kbire mech sandiwch 3ade.

    The best taouk place is snack azar in dbayeh near St. Rita school; huge sandwish, good prises.

    And Johnny, I remember that place you were talking about, hy2to bi7ebb hayfa sa7ib l ma7al ;) :D

    There’s another Lala at Nazlet el Saydeh in Ashrafieh ;-)
    I suggest you visit it and tell us which one you think is better ;)
