George Bush should visit Lebanon
Posted by N10452President Bush arrived in Israel on Wednesday to begin a weeklong trip in the Middle East intended to overcome deep skepticism by Israelis and Palestinians about the prospects of a negotiated peace in the last year of Mr. Bush’s presidency [...]

I was wondering why Bush cancelled his visit to Lebanon, it would have been the biggest boost to M14 and to the government and a slap in the face to Hezbollah and its threats ..

Who says he cancelled? He’ll “drop” in if he so desires. Do you think it is prudent to announce when?
I hope he shows up as well!I do not believe in hiding one’s friends and kissing the butt of HA!!
I’d shake hads with Bush proudly. Let Iran and their butchers aka HA eat scata!!

no i think its better that he doesnt come to lebanon, afterall even if he is an ally now, we dont like the guy.
his policy caused too much pain for us, for the arabs and for plenty of people arround the world
he could be our ally now for american interests but he doesnt love us, neither do we.
and his comming will get things worst between people and can generate conflicts. why risk this at the time, bush comming wont get us more benefit that the damage it could cause.

Think twice about your last statement.
Hezbollah keeps saying that our government are the pay-on-demand of the U.S. of A… George’s visit may prove them right.
9. theCourtFool | January 10th, 2008 at 4:01 am
MOST Importantly… George’s the head of the same Government which Postponed the rape of Lebanon by Israel las year, in our summer.
Hezbollah is George’s and Ehud’s Accomplices in Crime.

Euh, Roch, you know what, bubbah? I say SCREW YOU and your Arabs!
A sovereign nation is free to make alliances and war as it pleases!
If the Lebanese govt thinks it behooves it to have Bush’s support and the privilege of his visit to Lebanon (the first by any American president) then SO be it!
We have spent 88 fcuking years bending over backwards for every Arab and every fcuking Arab cause in the neighborhood, and what has that brought us if not tragedy upon tragedy and destruction upon destruction???
Fcuk the Arabs!
The ONLY thing that has brought us, and the fcuking Arabs pain is our indecisiveness and our wanting to have the cake and eat it too, NOT Bush, and NOT America! Stop the silly conspiracies already! We have been living for the past 88 years on Arab conspiracies and paranoias. Enough, and grow the fcuk up!

Wouldn’t be nice if we could work together instead of being at odds with each others? The more this cowboy supports the 14th of march the more prbs we’re going to have.
The republican american regime over the past 3 yrs has turned lebanon into another Iraq. Give it another few more years of inept politics ,and it will become an uglier iraq.
I dont think that it is fair to welcome bush on the lebanese soil. Roughly, a 1500 ppl died last summer, even if bush apologizes 15000000 times none of the victims will be back. War criminals are not allowed in lebanon.
Yalla best wishes to all of you , i will be in lebanon by saturday…

this is absurd. the HA terrorists never ashame of crawling back to the get instructions from the thugs in Syria and their Iranian puppet masters… and yet they have the audacity to question the support of the US to the legitimate government of Lebanon..
i say enough talking and it’s high time we teach these goat-herders a lesson…

Snake the Jake,
Thank you for your reply, I just wish to rectify some info you stated here: those arab countries who brought us troubles were only doing their interests. We made the mistake many times by not doing our interest (ex. cairo agreement 1969)
If you wish to screw me and all the arabs maybe i should remind you of our position in the world: 3million lebanese surrounded by 300 million arabs. Do you want to make enemies of them?
Even Bashir Gemayel wasnt that much stuborn, aoun is! You must be an orange guy with your love of screwing others.
I still beleive that our bigger enemy is isreal, not syria or the arabs. syria goverment come and go, arab petrol power will end eventually since now its mostly controled by western company. History was different before 88 years ago when we and the arabs (specialy syria) were very much allied against the turks.
But the isrealy threat is much more dangerous since they have been planning for their country for centuries, and still plan for their future. Our future is not in their plans.
PS: lebanon war with isreal is not the HA way, but the Maurice Gemayel way. and we need the arabs to win that one.

It would be great if Bush would visit Lebanon; but I understand why he does not want to. I wouldn’t go to Lebanon either if I were Bush, unless I had received plastic surgery, a new name and a passport that was from Europe

I think our government is too coward to invite bush.
