Another sad day for Lebanon ..
Another sad day for our martyrs and for justice …
The four criminal generals were released to be put under strict security measures. Few weeks or months from now, they will disappear to an unknown destination.

yalla, use this event as a pathetic slogan for your election campaign…

N it is disappointing to see these 4 Syrian traitors outside a jail but if they did not get involved in the Hariri crime then I don’t want to blame them for the wrong crime, I want to know the real killers.
For me they will always be the responsible for oppressing us and putting us in jail and kidnapping and assassination under Syria occupation, I don’t need any court to tell me about this part because I lived it I know them very well!

Did it ever occur to any of you that they MIGHT be innocent?
This is the international tribunal not some Lebanese judge who took this decision…
M14 has been saying for the past 4 years: el ma7kame ceci, el ma7kame cela, metel ka2enno el ma7kame mounzale mn Allah wou kell shi bet 2oulo aw bet 2arrero houwwe sa7. Tayyib halla2 la2enno el ma7kame akhadit 2arar mesh 3a zaw2oun sarit el ma7kame kekkha ??!? wein el manti2 ?
Ya na7na ma3 el ma7kame shou ma ken 2arara ya na7na dodda…. Hayde ma7kame douwaliyye mesh ma7kame a la carte.
They must have had a good and solid reason to take such a decision.
I personally have no idea who killed R.H and I sincerely wish that those 4 generals were indeed guilty (I especially despise this scum bag Jamil Sayyed) … perhaps the investigation showed they had nothing to do with it, in which case they spent 4 years in jail for a crime they didn’t commit. Let’s just say it was their punishment for all the other bad things they did over the years and call it a day.
One last thing: ma fina n2oul enno hayda 2arar siyese la2enno the Int’l tribunal couldn’t care less about our local politics, they just review facts and issue decisions accordingly.
I have to admit I’m a little disappointed, I was really wisihng they were guilty

‘The four criminal generals …’
So 4 years of investigation, and a decision from an international tribunal and you still call them criminals…you that was freed by a 3afo khas is the last to talk about crimes and imprisonment…li bayto men 2zez ma bireche2 lnes bi hjar.
Al (Ex-Anonymous)
I agree with you, they have done a lot of bad things and one can say that they deserve the punishment they had (especially Sayyed).
In any case, free does not mean innocent, it means that there is not enough evidence to keep them in; evidence that can be found tomorrow
This should be your lesson to learn to separate the political propaganda from fact.

Al (Ex-Anonymous) mi7na ma3 el ma7kameh la shou ma sar,
ya3neh dont care less if they are freed or not, justice is justice, w although they might have dont many bad things in the last 19 years but ghayroun ma ken 2a7san

wlak i cant believe . what proves that they killed rafik hariri . all march 14 (except ouwet and most christian parties ) should be in jail not these people , these people if they had a hand in all of this they would have been just tools , khalsoona min hal mawdoo3 ba2a theres no proof against them so dont worry if you believe in ur ma7kame il dowaliye they wil convict them again if they had a hand in it and they will put them back in jail

walla ya N, I think this is great news for M14.. what better way to rally your troops around the cause! M8 has no more arguments against the tribunal, they will have to submit to each and every of its decisions from now on as they are now praising it. So eventually, if any evidence leads them to indict any ally of M8, they will have to conceed.
Furthermore, as a lebanese christian, I am not too happy seeing that GMA supporters are cheering for Jamil al Sayid! What a sight! this may cause me to vote for M14, min kitir ishmi2zazi min M8 christians!

I wouldn’t mind it if we had a real state which can actually put someone under strict security measure.
We fail because we are not a state …

this is great! Sayid is defending HA and attacking Geagea and M14! Fantastic way to kick off the elections,,, Sayyid and GMA on one hand attacking Geagea, how will the lebanese street react?
What is great about our country is that you do not need entertainment shows, just watching the news is like going to the circus! Ishmi2zaz!
12. mano | April 29th, 2009 at 6:34 pm
anyone who thinks right should defend HA and attack gaegae

Your article is a clear proof of how your justice system works.
You say “what they’ve done” as if you know for sure!
Why do we need courts and a justice system since we have poeple like you who “KNOW” everything!!
14. kezballah | April 29th, 2009 at 9:27 pm
Khayye Ja3far yes I wrote to Doc before that I remember our previous discussion, and I say again that you can not blame me if I accepted the UN decision before because if you blame me then I can blame you if you accept the UN decision now
The UN said to arrest the 4 clowns and the UN now said to release them, please don’t ask me to feel bad that these traitors spent 4 years in jail I did not arrest them and I don’t feel sorry for them. All I see on TV is HA people talking about injustice but where were they when the LF and Tayyar people were arrested and beaten and kidnapped to Syria for 15 years?

tayyar forever! sar el tayyar yi 7enn 3ala jamil el sayyed?
you, my friend, apparently know absolutely nothing about politics… i will go about how socrates used to explain a somewhat difficult subject to the people:
“Is it not true that jamil el sayyid was responsible of the internal security back then?”
tayyarforever: certainly, it is true.
and is it not true that he handled it well, since we had no major surprises, murders, rape cases…?
tayyarforever: again, rami, you are right.
is it not difficult to carry around so many tones of explosives in cars, trucks, or other terrestrial or aerial means?
tayyarforever: yes, it is
well, would you not consider it normal for a COMPETENT security officer to know about something as big as many tones of explosives entering his country?
tayyarforever: i would, logically. but what is your point, rami?
if an accident should occur, involving these tons of explosives that managed to enter this country, should you not consider this responsible guilty, either on purpose, or simply for not doing his job accidentally?
tayyaforever: i should, certainly..
well, to get back to jamil el sayyid. should we consider him guilty either way, whether he was involved intentionally in this murder, or inintentionally, simply for not doing his job in the state?
tayyarforever: i believe you are right..

Was OJ Simpson innocent? There are ways to trump the judicial system and these generals have succeeded at that. But their guilt for executing the murder is as clear as daylight. Their time will come sooner or later.
18. W | April 30th, 2009 at 9:49 am
how can you put such crap on a crapy page
accept the reality they are inocent
19. hochoz | April 30th, 2009 at 8:04 pm
The 4 ” innocent ” generals are the ones that covered for all the arrests, beatings and murders that occured when syria was occupying lebanon…. they might be innocent of hariri’s murder but are by no way innocent of torturing hundreds of lf and fpm supporters…..
