How irrational can our people get ?
I cannot believe we are cheering for an animal that is being freed from Israeli prisons …
We are cheering for a man who killed a 4 year old baby after killing her father in front of her ..
You tell me he was retaliating ?? By killing innocent children & civilians you retaliate ??
Or even worse, some people tell me 2 kills is ok compared to the atrocities Israel committed over the years. ..
As if it makes any difference if you kill one or 20 !! Killing is killing & KILLING IS WRONG !!
Shame on our people … shame shame shame !!

For once I have to agree with the mou3arada boys…come on…the argument of if killing a kid makes you wrong and guilty whoever you are then most ouwetjié should start by cleaning in front of their own doors really does make sense…
Delta, agreed you were fighting for your survival, still you can not deny that the palestinian cause and the fight against israel was not a survival thing…at least for some people…
The problem with kuntar release is that it is a political victory for hezbollah and that cheering him make us look like hordes of barbarians in front of the world. Bass among us this argument doesn’t work, it was halal to kill and mutilate kids in tall el zaatar but nothing excuses kuntar??

shame shame shame shame shame on you who have posted the article on the web shame on you ignoring the killings and all massacres that your beloved ancient (may be always) allies has did, what about sabra and chatila , those were rats ? don t tell me you eternal statement they were palestinians , what about kana ? what about all the children who died , your emotions are with a 4 years israeli child? you did not see them sending their best regards on the killing missiles to our children?this not to support the killing but i cannot believe who you always approach those issues,no word of sympathy towards the others , you consider yourselves as the one and only species in this world and who are you , you a very small bunch of people that no one believe no give them attention, you are screaming , yelling , shouting but who is there to reply , no one , die in you anger and enjoy your hatered and if you see that hizablla or the resistance are tackling your desire to have your own canton and sector , fight them you have always won your war and bring the securit to your society who has a very very bitter memories of you.I like your anger , it gives me pleasure and moment of relief.
you are not more than a car who is destroyed and yet there is only the radio running on on a very old statement in mid 80 s

LF had a noble cause but there were some thorns along the way, a lot of them.
What pisses me off is that Hizbulla or Amal or even Aoun or Franjieh have the guts to point at those bad instances ignoring their history.

I tend to agree, I don’t see what the glee is seeing a convicted criminal (not a POW! Convicted by a court of law!) set free, in particular when you reminisce about the cost (hundreds of innocent lives + destruction).. I can’t understand the warped mind that would think there is cause for celebration.
All the more so, when it was readily obvious that Kuntar could have been released through painless diplomacy. The price was already set in 2004 - Solid information on the fate of Ron Arad will give you a free Quntar. But HA never gave that information (because their Irani masters won’t let them) - and so all of Lebanon had to suffer the alternative cost - which was war - for HA’s “great achievement” .
Meh.

Massacres during the war were committed on all sides, and stop accusing each others because you are acting worst than our government!!!!
But the most important thing, is that we are assuring the rest of the world, that we are a bunch of losers living in heaven and turning ( already is…) it into hell.

The day the Lebanese Forces/Phalangists and the rest of the Christian Right, will feel more compassion towards their lebanese brothers rather than to the israeli enemy, we will try to forgive them (but never forget) for being traitors to Lebanon and for collaborating with its enemy.
If the fact seems to have escaped your mind, let me remind you that Israel is considered an enemy state of Lebanon according to the Taef accord (see text of Taef Agreement) and as stipulated by the Lebanese Army (see http://www.lebarmy.gov.lb/English/Mission.asp)
I have always failed to understand why the Christian Right has persisted in viewing Israel in a positive light as well as caring about Israeli lives.
Tell me, did Israel care about Christian lives when it left them in the Chouf Mounains to face its majority Druze habitants? Did it care when Christians were being massacred in their villages in the Chouf mountains?
Did Israel care when it deserted its Christian allies and the SLA in the South in May 2000? Have you forgotten that the Israelis were quick to place the entire blame of the Massacre of Sabra & Chatila on the Phalangists and on the Christian Right?
Has the Christian Right not noticed that its policy of supporting Israel during the civil war, has led to the death of exactly those it swore to protect: thousands of Christians as well as provoking the emigration of thousands of Christians.
Indeed, I would go further and state that Christian Rightist support for the Israeli invasions in 1978, 1982, 1996 led to the creation and the strengthening of those same Islamic fundamentalist movements, it feared.
Delta, you sick barbarous cannibal coward terrorist, when the phalangists massacred thousands of civilans in Tal el Zaatar, thousands of civilians in Karantina, thousands of civilians in Bourj Barajneh, thousands of civilians in Sabra & Chatila, when it assassinated Tony Frangieh and members of his family in Ehden, when it assasinated unarmed members of the Ahrar in Safra, when Samir Geagea massacred Dany Chamoun and members of his family in 1990 (as testified by his daughter Tracy Chamoun who vowed, “If Samir Geagea ever gets out of jail, I will have signed my death warrant.” ), were all these massacres to protect your dignity? Or were these butcheries truly a pleasure to commit?
Before, you ridiculously try to deny or disavow the innumerable terrorists acts committed by the LF, read about these massacres in Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International or in such books as “Pity the Nation”, written by renowned western journalist Robert Fisk (recipient of the Amnesty International award) and take a look at the record of these massacres in the Lebanese Red Cross).
If anything, you are traitors to the Christian cause, and before anyone dares accuse me of being “orangina” (because those are the words u carefully choose to reflect the level of intellectualism within the LF), so is Michel Aoun.

N,
In our region there is a culture of violence and hatred that prevails over reason, tolerance and peace. Unfortunately, Kuntar and others on BOTH sides of the equation have got so much blood on their hands that the line of who has the high moral stand versus who does not is very thin and gets blurred all the time. Perhaps, it is this kind of culture that we have come to accept and have thus lost any sense of morality. It is all about “heroes” and “martyrs” and the blood that gets spilled is part of the great “sacrifice”, where the killer gets hailed and the “victim” is killed and then buried. It’s a vicious circle, but it has always been a way of life in this part of the world and that’s we are truly celebrating today…for that we should ALL be ashamed as arabs and israelis. TFEH!

You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.
—Matthew 5:38-42, NIV
But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you.
—Luke 6:27-31. NIV

Congratulations to the honourable Lebanese people and to all of those who have resisted against is really aggression. I advise all to go to el man or news and read the brave story of this man. Read how is real tried to crucify him and tortured him. This so called story about him killing a child is a lie. nevermind
We dont need people like you in lebanon anyways , you can rot where ever u are !
Delta and All ! I never said That What Kuntar did was right , and i never said What the LF was right or others did was right !
All i was Protesting since the begining was the reason N posted all these articles about al Kuntar mentioning him as a Dictator who slaughtered thousands of people !!!
Again i understand all who killed innocent people at war even if it was for a cause, since nobody has brains in times of war , But why make a BIG deal about al kuntar , when hundreds but thousands of him are free ?????
Love you to DElta ! take care bro !

Ali 1559…as I said, I am not making of Kuntar the absolute devil, that was war, he fought he killed, he prooved himself to be violent, he got caught, he stayed 30 yrs in jail, he paid a price now he’s out, mabrouk to him.
However this doesn’t justify hassouna the pig face to come out on TV yesterday to give us a lesson of patriotism and even less gives someone like you to come and claim WE(the metwals) are the heroes WE are the strongest, WE are the liberators…
And my million $ question to you, what is your sociological/political explanation for samir kuntar to be returned alive after 30 yrs while the 2 isreali soldiers were returned dead (eventhough they were captured alive)??? tks…
70. Arze | July 17th, 2008 at 11:12 am
Fizyiad , it was never proved that the Israelies captured were sdtill alive , even the 2 soldiers who were in the other cars were not sure about it….
What do you expect ? An antitank rocket launched on a Humvee , u would expect people to come out alive ?
Regarding Hassouna , he never ever mentionned that HE and his people are the patriots and the heroes and the strongest….u must have been watching Hassan translated into Hebrew or English on CNN : ) on the countrary he always mentionned lebanon , arabs , christians and muslims as being victories in all these events…
71. Fuziyad | July 17th, 2008 at 12:24 pm
Arzé albé, I did watch hassouna bel 3arabé…
To be honest I wasn’t paying full attention to all his habal abt mouqawama and such but openned well my ears when he came to the “interior” issues.
He said: they are jealous of US (the metwals) for being the muqawama, let THEM (the other lebanese) sacrifice as much as WE (the metwals) did, he mentionned a new muqawama that would include various confessions bla bla bla…all that part was very clear.
by the way, there is one thing I liked in hassouna’s show, for once he asked about Moussa el Sadr. Let’s see what he’s gonna do there…
72. pure Lebanese | July 17th, 2008 at 12:40 pm
those who are talking about Sabra and Shatila, “for every action there is a reaction” lebanon was at war, sabra and shatila was a reaction for the action AL DAMOUR MASSACRE, i would like to know where samir al kontar was during al damour massacre, as for FRANJIYE well the answer for it it has been well documented for there are people who loves to turn their head around the truth
73. SONIA LEVY | July 17th, 2008 at 12:47 pm
FUZIYAD….GOOD POINT. WHAT IS MORE,HE LOOKS RATHER WELL, DOESN”T HE? HE STUDIED IN GAOL,AND WAS WELL TREATED AS HIS APPEARANCE AND MENTAL CONDITION TESTIFY.
HE KILLED A CHILD IN COLD BLOOD.NOT IN ACTION.
GOOD WISHES TO YOU AND OTHER READERS WHO CAN TELL THE DIFFERENCE.
74. Arze | July 17th, 2008 at 1:24 pm
samir kuntar or samir geagea ….. whats the difference… ohhhh only the family name…
75. nevermind | July 17th, 2008 at 1:27 pm
Arze,
)
I will not comment on what you said, because obviuosly you have the same barking method as your master (same method how he talks to the media
Mike,
3edwen was there too?? sorry I didn’t see it all because I was discusted from the scene.
WHAT DA HELL WE HAD REPRESENTATIVE FROM LF THERE????? did any one from hizballa came to the airport when Dr Geagea was out???
We will never learn from our mistaques….poor lebanese christians!!!!
76. Fuziyad | July 17th, 2008 at 1:31 pm
Pure lebanese, I have to say you are a pure idiot. If for every action there is a reaction and this justifies the reaction whatever it is, then there is nothing wrong in what kuntar did…
77. nevermind | July 17th, 2008 at 1:43 pm
Fuziyad,
I don’t think that anyone has any doughts that what this terrorist kuntar did was wrong… but the biggest problem is , that they are hayling him as a hero, even the president and the ministers were kissing him!!!! that’s what makes the situation extremly dangerous!!!
means that this president is the same copy of the previous one, and we will never gonna get rid of shitballah!!!!!!
78. Nationalist | July 17th, 2008 at 2:54 pm
Pure lebanese, u r a pure hypocrite…in the sense of the Gospels.
Read my post #43 for a list of some of the massacres that the phalangists committed prior to Al-Damour massacre.
Of course, do not forget the very first massacre of the lebanese civil war, also considered to be its casus belli (definition: cause of war): the December 1975 Black Saturday massacre.
For your information, it was committed by the Phalangists who executed around 600 people on the sole basis of their religious beliefs and sectarian affiliations (source: “Pity the Nation”, Robert Fisk).
Your argument is rational but your twisted logic villifies and nullifies it as it cannot be used in favor of the Christian Right.
79. Jay | July 17th, 2008 at 2:55 pm
Celebrations for a cold blooded killer? Have the UN no shame in condemning this crime?
Lebanon will eventually realise just like any other country in the world that as soon as Islam reaches it’s borders you will have nothing but a war mongering religion wishing to take over every bit of it of your land and use you at whatever cost.
If Christians in Lebanon have any human decency they would rid the Hizbollah scum and send their forces to the south to protect Lebanon without the ‘unjustified crimes’ part.

I do not recall seeing a blog on ouwet.com condemning the killing by israel of hundreds of Lebanese civilians during the 2006 war. Instead I see a blog today of 79 comments, most of which adopting the Israeli claim about Samir’s killing of one 4 year old girl. Has anyone of you bothered to listen to your countryman’s side of the story? It is ironic that most of you sympathize with those who murdered thousands of children of your own nation! has anyone of you bothered to write a comment against the Israeli killings in 2006? …
85. Michele | July 17th, 2008 at 11:10 pm

اكد مسؤول امني اسرائيلي كبير ان سمير القنطار الأسير اللبناني السابق في السجون الاسرائيلية، هو هدف لاسرائيل، رغم الافراج عنه في اطار عملية التبادل مع “حزب الله”.
He’s going to wish he stayed in jail

Fuziyad
تقرير طبي
ويشير تقرير أعده أطباء شرعيون بالجيش إلى أن الجنديين توفيا في اليوم الذي أسرا فيه بعد أن أصاب صاروخ آلية هامر التي كانا فيها.
No need to talk to you anymore. Again, you are there to defend Israel while the Israelis themselves agreed that the 2 soldiers were dead….
We will always be there to stop your zionist agenda in lebanon ya Fuziyad.
Kuntar is back (7ara2 bi albak) , now cry me a river kid or go watch more of Hassouna’s videos maybe you’ll learn how to stand behind your words and beleive me everyone will be on your side then…

Samir Kuntar is a piece of shit,
The parade for him portrais the arabs as barbarians - as blood seekers; Hizbollah victory looks so gloomy especially when you realize that for the sake of freeing this dirty old murdurer, 1,400 lebanese were killed 4,000 were wounded and huge damage to infrastructure and property was made,
what kind of victory is it - Nassrallah (in my ass)?
91. sadnation | July 21st, 2008 at 4:25 pm

Sorry !! boys we are cheering because a lebanese man is back to his country after fighting for a cause … We don’t want you to believe that it is a rightful cause , we want everbody to believe that if we want something , it is very easy to hav e as long as we have patience and we believe !! WE BELIEVE THAT AL KINTAR IS A HERO AND WE BELIEVE THAT IS HIS RIGHT OT COME BACK TO HIS COUNTRY …. and wether you like it or no LEBANON IS THE COUNTRY OF THIS HERO WHO HAS SACRIFICED 30 years from his right for his casue which is OUR CAUSE … to kill ISRAELIES babies or adults as long as they are killing us … as we say al 3ayno bil 3ayn wal sin bil sin… and by the way the diplomacy that we are speaking for and specially with a racist nation like israel has did good only FOR THE LF bit for others … so you can live there where U GUYS BELONG .

95. tarek | July 24th, 2008 at 12:16 pm
Lebanese !!!
Nobody obliged them to go to the airport !!! but we know that if they don’t go there than they are 100% PURE TRAITORS … for the country and for the ARAB WORLD ALSOO !! .. that is why they went to there and as you said NOT OUT OF RESPECT COZ those persons do not respect themselves ( as they change there ideas by the change of the political wave) just for MASLA7A…
Anyway Lebanese , AL KONTAR wether you ( you it means all who hate him) IS A HERO and proven to be one ( no doubt about it ) … AL KONTAR IS FREE and it is time to lock the one that shouldn’t be .
