How can anyone read this and still think that the Army will divide and members fight each other? This Army is showing true Patriotism, and is the symbol of what Lebanon can become when sect and religion are not the first and only thing that has validity. They are comrades in arms together - they are true Lebanese and have gained that very elusive concept of Nationalism. I salute them all and pray for the fallen among them.

Wow.

Thanks for putting this up, its a story that needs to be read and heard all over Lebanon and throughout the diaspora.

These actions of heroism we are witnessing by our army stand as a symbol of the Lebanon we want to live in and of our resistance to tyranny and terror.

This story is our Lebanon - one in which we’re by our country and our land and not divided by our religion.
