As i mentioned earlier, the aim of those posts is to show all our readers, including the LFers that the LF was more than a militia, the LF was more organized and structured that our governments and its institutions will ever be.
I will start by exposing the LF units, since we were no terrorists hiding in holes and launching rockets from civilian houses, we were a tough resistance deployed all over the free regions.

Sportive & sports
That was the LF army, and not just a simple militia. This army defended our regions from all sorts of invasions for years and kept all invadors out of the free regions. Thousands of those brave men fell defending our community, most of them young men who dedicated their lives to the LF Cause and Lebanon.
Let us not behave as thugs out of respect of those, and let us condemn all militia acts done by LFers, and praise the LF i just mentioned, the LF we should be proud of, the LF that surrendered all its weaponry in 24 hours when the Lebanese reached an agreement on stopping the war and starting to build a strong state and a free sovereign Lebanon.

This should be also posted in official FPM forums to show people that the LF weren’t a “gang” or a bunch of “criminals” as they like to think.
However, great post, can’t wait for the next parts

N10452, thank you a million for this post. Now, I feel that this site is my “home” site. Keep the excellent work and we will keep being this site’s passionate readers.
After the events of the Black Tuesday, and the reaction of the Lfers and in particular DSG, I feel that a sparkle has re- lit the LFpatriotic fire that’s always been in you, only this time I feel that you are more receptive and more supportive of the “present” LF and Lfers and its leader. I hope I’m right because guys like you do make a difference, particularly LF-wise. A special mention to othello who’s another LF enthusiast on this site. Cheers.

Indeed I’m worries about the thuggish image of LF.
I think it’s not enough a thug.
Don’t misunderstand me here, I’m not war mongering.
Israel learned an important lesson in Oct. ‘73, that is: always hope for the best, but always prepare for the worst.
The committee that investigated the war recommended that further assessments given to the government by the army, should be based on the intelligence picture, and according to the build-up on the ground, and NOT include INTENTION analysis.
The massage is: trust in what you see, not in what you think your opponent intents.

Nice Post, nostalgia for the past, Nostalgia for a Great History,
but on the same time…we hope not to return to that era anymore… we can be as organized as before but on the civil & civic level.
I think we should work on this target
We got enough of fights and killing each others…
we Love life…

Hello
I’m a student and I live in Belgium. I have a work in philosphy. And I insert some informations in French and in English. There are some questions like : was there any orchestra?…
Thanks for all
Great site
Merci d’avance
Charbel
I have a work in philosphy. I have to talk about the “Military Musics” and its impact on the people. I have choosed the Lebanese War (1975-1990).
I have to show that music has a power on people
It should be shown that:
- the music consolidates a group.
- there is no freedom without music in incentive with the going beyond of oneself.
- the music is an instrument of being able and a source of revolt. It could help to impose a domination per example on the Christian scene and can also to justify the “war” against the Syrian invasion is a legitime right…
- the music is a means of propaganda: RLL, LBC, Almassira… (did they diffuse musics and/or interview with the singers ?…)
- were there songs before the political meetings and/or any concerts…?
- was there a special orchestra for FLs and/or of the singers…
(Who? ; How? , Where? When did they play this songs? …)
- were there any loudspeakers which diffused song in the streets, at the soldiers supermarkets (like “Kataëb’s coop”…) …?
All that you would have could help me (pictures, movies, clips, interviews, songs, websites…).
I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
Charbel
