It dosen't matter that they were praying; Pray is good from what I last heard. And More importantly, it is symbolic that the clashes of sects between Sunnies and Shiites have the same religion in common. Furthermore, Christians and Sunnies are closer today, than they ever have been! So no worries about this symbolic prayer.

Ram,
I checked and apparently they are allowed to, it is the religious symbols that are not allowed.
I wasnt attacking Sanioura for praying but didnt want the opposition to have another argument against them.

As for today's mass, that was pathetic.

I don't see any problem with that. I do not understand why some people ( and I am sure they are good brave people ) keep pointing their criticism in the wrong direction. To those "enthusiastic" people I say stop shooting in all directions, let's be firm in our alliances! Then maybe we will learn to be firm with ourselves, bring up the courage and kick the two traitor generals out of our community.

I cannot believe that today a mess was held to show how many christians can attend in solidarity of Aoun......So he couldn't get people to come down to protest....He did a mess for them........what a joke.....The church should have never accepted it in the first place...The church should never be used to strengthen political views, especially Aoun's delirious ones....Shame on You!

as mentioned above, its quite normal for muslim to pray there, they also have a praying room in the parlement. that is not a problem as we do praying rooms too in schools and colleges. as long as people are praying, they are not killing each others.

about the mass, i agree with rampurple, they should stay low on those matters, I didnt like the huge mass celebration for pierre in DT, i would have prefered an intimate one in bickfaya. Its not our first martyr and wont be the last, we would have respected the minister wishes if it was just us kataeb in his home town.

anyway, back to the subject, lets all join the people in the saraya in our prayors and wish all lebanon a better days.

N10452, i think you went overboard with this one. Muslims can pray anywhere. This isn't a sermon, it's one of their 5 prayers a day. Most Muslims pray their prayers in the comfort of their homes or offices. A lot of them pray together when they are together during prayer time. It doesn't mean they made it into a mosque.

Today's masses is haki fadi. Both sides want to show they have Christian support when in reality the Christians don't even support each other. Ya haram.

I believe masses either Christian or Muslim should be kept out of the parliament.

Mass today was also unecessary.
