Posted by N10452I was just posting how the cedars have decided to pack up & leave and not just the Lebanese, and here i find this on the BBC site.
The cedars of Lebanon could be under threat from climate change. The trees are part of Lebanon’s cultural heritage. Bethany Bell reports.

It is only a matter of time before lebanon becomes a desert. It is as inevitable as human death.
And as for the cedar, it will become extinct, because it’s a just tree like all the others, no matter what godlike importance lebanese give it, it’s just an old tree.

“What can a deputy PM gain as privileges other than those gained by the deputy Speaker of the House? Where are the privileges of the latter anyway?” Geagea asked.

Anon,
Here’s the entire quote. What you are yapping about I do not know. You guys are good in lying and cut and paste jobs…DSG is the ONLY politician who’s making sense in the past year. He basically is saying why argue about “rights” similar to that of Deputy Speaker (Makari) that is useless!!
So stop being a f’n orange and read the whole interview and sentences. You make me sick!!

Anon,
I read everything. By equating the village idiot to DSG is just a cover…
You attacked what DSG said! There was nothing wrong in his assessment. Yup you are shade of whatever!

try to do some thinking of your own instead of listening and abiding to whatever geagea says even if it’s completely stupid and incoherent… tala ma fi ness metlak habibe hayda el balad 3al kasser
and by the way not everyone who criticizes your “doctor” is a aounist, as unbelievable as this might sound to you, there are people who actually think and don’t just follow “leaders” like small pathetic puppies.
Screw aoun and geagea, but if tomorrow morning any of these 2 idiots, by some miracle, do or say something that is in Lebanon’s interest, I’ll be the 1st to cheer for them… however dream on: one is a complete idiot (geagea) and the other a megalomaniac (aoun)
