Kataeb answered this nonsense the next day and sent Addiyar a fax.

1- The Kataeb did not create a secret ‘cell’ to follow up the investigation on the Assasination of Sheikh Pierre Gemayel, but formed a group of lawyers to take the appropriate measures.

2- Sheikh Amine Gemayel did not imply in anyway that he will avenge his son’s death by killing the assasin, but on the contrary, asked for everyone to remain calm and pray and let justice prevail since day 1.

3- The party considers what was mentioned in that article is very dangerous and incites divisions within the Christian ranks ( Addiyar mentioned Samir Geagea as a suspect of Pierre’s death and added that Kataeb might destroy SSNP house in Bekfaya).

4- The Kataeb denies the nonsense information about moving the Kataeb Headquarters in Saifi to another location.
