Events in March ..
Posted by N10452March is a very ‘busy’ month in Lebanese politics, lots of crucial events happened in that month ..
From 8th of March and the Thank you Syria massive demonstration led by Hezbollah, then the famous Cedars Revolution on the 14th of March.
The disbanding of the LF occured on the 23rd of March as well back in 1994.
A car bomb exploded in the New Jdeideh suburb of Beirut on March 19, 2005.
On March 23 2005, a bomb left in a leather bag exploded at the back entrance of the Kaslik shopping center in Beirut.
March 12, 1985 : The LF Intifada led by Hakim against HK.
There are lots of holidays in March as well, St.Patrick’s, Women Day, Mother’s day, Teacher’s Day, St Joseph’s day etc ..
