I’m not sure if these statistics are correct or not . These Days people call CIA by CILA , L for lack .
Anyway ,there are some statistics issued by Rabta Maroniyeh showing that around 800,000 Maronites left Lebanon since 1975 to many contries specially USA and Canada and Australia and France and never returned to Lebanon .375,000 Only in Canada .
For sure the number of maronites have reduced as well as their political presence in lebanon . The same statistics will show if the Maronites continue leaving Lebanon in groups the Number of Maronites will reduce to less then 20% in 5 to 10 years. That’s why our Patriarch many times spoke about this subject and he met many europeans embassadors.
The questions are :
1)Why maronites are leaving, the country they made?
2) why Christians are leaving Lebanon.
3) why till now christians living abroad cannot vote in embassies
4) What’s next .
Finally , I think Lebanese Forces and the Church can play a major role in this subject by putting a clear strategy on how to protect christian presence in Lebanon .

Christians are losing population because of 3 main reasons .
First: Christians are not reproducing anymore, an average family of 2 kids even less sometimes!!!
Second: Christian’s families are far a part comparing it to Muslims family communication.
Third: this is the main reason that people don’t realize that immigrations embassies are full of youth Christians. Christians lost a lot of families over the years, these families leave Lebanon as Lebanese and never come back even some of them forget that they were Lebanese or Arabic speakers, I have seen it before just so sad and unbelievable some of these families lost their kids and behave , lost their language and original names and family names for example charbil eid an old friend of mine changed his name to chad Edison for no reason and none of his kids speak Arabic or talk about Lebanon , another example michelle hadad an Lebanese doctor who doesn’t know when his grandfather came to the united states or what happen to his aunts and uncles in Lebanon , hey man I am an American that is his favorite word to say on the other hand I see these muslimzzz doing the opposite way (no explanation) in conclusion this is the way it is just so sad , christians are going to lose more percentage and nbrs more and more unless we will find solutions to solve this huge issue , maybe some community centers in and out of Lebanon will fix this issue?? Always remember that u are a lebanese first, god bless….
