Bashir Gemayel Avenue … At last !!

Did you ever imagine we would have a Hafez el Assad avenue in Lebanon before having a Bashir Gemayel one ???
It took us 25 years to get this great man an avenue ????

He should have the airport, the seaport, the parliament, every single monument in the country named after him …
Allah yisemi7na walla ..

The avenue mentioned in the article has been nominated by Bash name directly after his assassination, and many signs were put there to note this.
But it seems it wasn’t officially adopted at that time, so in both cases it is a great decision now, eventhough Bashir deserves a whole country to be named after not only an avenue.

The main boulevard in Zahle, starting in front of the Saraya, is named after Sheikh Bachir sine long time ago.
There is a need to renovate the plaque that is dedicated for him over there.
