8th of March Avenue in Syria ?
Posted by N10452I am not quite sure if Hezbollah & his allies chose that date on purpose, but i found out a week ago that there is an Avenue called 8th of March in Syria in Lattakia.

8th of March 1963 is the day the Ba’ath party took control in Syria.

It’s not a coincidence. They chose this date because it’s a holiday in Syria and it was easier to bring the Syrians across the border on a vacation day. Syrian troops were still here and they too contributed to the mass gathered on 8th of March instead of the usual celebration they held each year in their barracks.
