    A call to all the youth in Lebanon;
    We are facing these days the most horrible moments, watching our lovely country falling down just in front of our eyes; people are crying, running, asking for help and praying to God… perhaps we can just pray these days because talking to god don’t have bad impact on anyone or any party, it doesn’t cost anyone and it doesn’t push any country to give us from their time, power and money.
    Pray my Lebanese friend, that what you can do right now and if the church or the Jemi3 is far from you and there is no more roads to there, pray in your room wherever you can, hoping that God protects what we still have from OUR lovely country LEBANON.

    But I want to ask myself and I hope that you do the same some little questions;
    Where are our “great” leaders during these moments? Are they praying to God or just hiding in their bathroom?
    I think they are watching TV like all of us. Is it normal? For them, yes of course, and perhaps they bought new plasmas just for this event.
    But in fact they are “our” leaders and in normal situations Leaders must take the lead and make decisive and crucial steps to protect us from this horrible war. In fact, as we can see, they are just making meetings and participating to talk shows where they can analyze the situation and imagine what it will happen to us during the following days.
    Perhaps they cant do anything right now, and it is true because the problem has already started and it needs al lot of time for resolution, and I advice you not to think of resolution because when someone falls down, he falls alone; that the case of our lovely Lebanon who is falling alone without any World or Arabian help.

    After all of this, I know that there’s nothing new for you, every body knows these things and can discuss it better then “our” leaders; and even if it’s too early to talk about the future and our plans following the war, WE need to learn something from this horrible moments…

    After several years of war, politic and social problems, we still have the same leaders based on past wars, families and money and we still count on other countries to control our internal politic life, economy and big decisions. But these leaders and these “friendly” countries didn’t take any serious steps and didn’t make any plan to prevent us falling in this terrible war; United states and many other countries helped us in our independence 2005 and let us alone after they realized their “dream” and see the Syrian force going out of Lebanon and concerning our “great” leaders, they started their dialogue to control our internal problems and to prevent new civil conflicts between Lebanese people but unfortunately Houzb El Allah was, during these moments, planning for their mission and our new adventure. ( Housb El Allah said that they were planning for this mission 5 months ago so all this dialogue about their arms, all these private contacts with other parties were not useful).

    It is time my Lebanese friend to make changes in our decisions, it is time to change those who their job was to protect us and prevent us from these horrible days, it is time to choose new leaders (yes don’t be afraid from this word “new”, because we really need NEW ones), it is time to let Dr Geagea, Michel Aoun and their horrible civil war leave us in peace, it is time to quit these words for uncultured people like “Beiks” and “Rayess” and many others, it is time to choose new leaders not based on old families like Chamoun, Jmayel, Joumblat, Franjieh, Karameh, Mouawad…and many others also, and of course, even if it’s sounds very heavy as an idea, we have to work for one nation and one direction for this country, not creating little nations in one nation or big nation, like Housb El Allah, in a little nation.
    So it is time my friend to grow up a little bit, we have to grow up, all of us, especially after these bad Lebanese moments.

    Finally we can only say, God save and protect what we still have from our Lovely country that we all love it, and if we really love it, we can rebuild it together and this time rebuild it correctly with good leaders that we choose considering their educational levels and their capacities not anything else (we all, are born in the same way, there’s no magical or high-class genes) and without ethical conflicts.
    Everybody can have his own opinions and his own view concerning our country but what it really matters is putting Our Lebanon in the priority.

    God bless Lebanon
    George ZIADE

    Jim,Your dream is a very far one.
    Unless the youth step up to face and question their leaders, that ll never happen.
    The problem is most of them r like sheeps now following blindly leaders they never met or talked to.

    we need a change of mentality first.
