Best Joura in Lebanon Challenge

I was inspired to do this challenge by a friend of mine who was doing the best burger challenge in his country.
It is very common for politicians to fall in their own holes, and since our dear politicians are so caring and loving, they want us to share their pain and designed for that purpose many holes for the poor citizens to fall in and wreck their cars.

Lebanon has ‘jouras’ that are phenomenal, shaped like no others jouras in the world. After my long experience on the Lebanese roads, i can assure you that many holes are made on purpse to wreck your car.
I remember the ‘joura’ that was on the Maritime road near the Forum de Beyrouth, there was a long chain of garagists 200 meters after the famous ‘joura’, waiting for cars with flat tyres to arrive :-)

Anyway, i ll be sharing with you some famous jouras and rating them ( out of 5) and at the end of this week or the next, we will have a winner.

    Good idea N.

    Although I think you’re going to need more than a couple of weeks to evaluate all the jouras in Lebanon.

    N, Please before you do this use a scale so we don’t fight at the end who is the winner.

    I think the BEST joura should be judged on this:

    1) How wide is it?
    2) How deep is it?
    3) Where is it? (the main highway is more important than small street on the side)

    I think the joura that Michele and Silvana made was the best joura on this blog :-)

    Of course i would be choosing holes on highways and main roads or highly frequented roads … there is no point in going to the village to take some pics of holes wen ma fi zefet aslan :)

    We do not need to make jouras for them, they do it all by themselves, we just help push them in it ;-)

    And let me say you are doing a great job Michelle, and will stop at that so our child prodigy Arze does not get jealous of me getting your attention :-P
