Hezbollah managed to put us back in the middle of a regional conflict whereas the solutions are not in Lebanon, and the proof is whats been going on for a year now ..

All Hezbollah’s ( The opposition) moves come whenever international pressure rises against Iran or Syria. The 14th of march intensifies its political speech whenever an assassination occurs to achieve the Cedars Revolution goals asap.

I was reading the paper’s headlines today and it is pathetic:
The Opposition will not comment on the International Tribunal until after the Syrian-Iranian talks in Teheran.

Hariri rushes to KSA before meeting with Berri probably to take the ‘advices’.

All demonstrations are turning into political festivals with local politicians scoring points for pure electoral purposes, mainly Christians who are competing now for a presidential post.

The solution to our problems is not in our hands, and i believe this is a very serious issue ..
It is unthinkable that we cannot sit around a table and list our problems and propose solutions .. or maybe we dont want to solve our problems …

Elections were the first target, achieved, then an Investigation Team that was also achieved, and now the International Tribunal and all were mainly achieved by efforts from the US or other countries and the enthusiasm of the Lebanese people as well who demonstrated massively to give those countries something to fight with.

The solution might be out there, but what is this solution ??

Is it turning the country into a second Iraq ? because it does suit a lot of political parties in Lebanon mainly Hezbollah.

Is it imposing Federalism ? i support Federalism but i strongly believe the Lebanese should be ready for it, or else it will lead to disastrous results.

Is it keeping the situation as it is ? Lebanon is also the loser here.

The Dialogue sessions MUST come back, this time with a precise schedule tackling all topics without referring to external countries, let our leaders close their phones and mails for few days and just talk … and then if a solution does not emerge, the people must throw those leaders in jail.

Well, if there is a will to solve problems, the problems can be solved easiy. However, the oppositon do not have problems or issues or demands, they have orders to execute. I do not beleive that the opposotion leaders will change or will abandon orders, but I some how rely on yalli byifhamo in the opposition to abandon their “leaders”, although they are not many.
