The New Hakim and the new LF …
Posted by N10452I took my time to re-read all the comments on my previous post in order to answer everyone in the most comprehensible way …
However, i’ve noticed that many replies were more instinctful and immature, as if it is forbidden to speak ur mind when it comes to the HUGE mistakes being done on the LF level. Let me clarify again and again to all those Aounists, Snoopies (SSNP) and all those 8-March supporters out there :
I will always stand behind the 14 March principles and the Cedars Revolution, i will always support the LF ideology ( the one i know and was raised on), and i will always critisize those who are on this same path but committing mistakes. One comment caught my attention ( By Anonymous) as to changing the blog and quitting the LF ..
I do not belong to the LF Party, never said i did .. i support the LF thought and project and i defended Samir Geagea’s cause .. however the New Hakim and the new LF are not the ones i used to defend, they changed their political line and are doing mistakes ( in my opinion mistakes) and not regretting them ..
It is my right to keep this blog running and critisize whomever i want, the LF does not belong to anyone … the LF to me can be resumed in 3 things:
-The Cause
-The Martyrs
-Federalism
As for All other parties, they are not worthy my time nor any true Lebanese’s time when it comes to critics, their goal is crystal clear and that is destroying Lebanon and weakening its Christians. I will not include Aoun here, however he is even worse than all those, he is unintentionally destroying us for his own selfish goals and cares less whether we make it or not, as long as it gets him to presidency.
He is a megaloman and a clown and a virus spread in our community that we should have eliminated long time ago !
Back to the questions :
1- Adwan is the VP of the New LF, whatever he says Geagea agreed on previously, and every word he says counts. He should know better how to choose his words, if he cant, dont choose him as ur VP.
2- We are no one’s ally in any regional conflict, We fought our asses off and had thousands of martyrs to keep Lebanon’s Cause its 10452 wou bass … We want a neutral Lebanon !!
3- Being smart in politics is one thing and changing major guidelines and principles is a TOTAL different thing.
Hayda tazeke mich zaka !
4- Those who are trying to defend Adwan’s point and telling me i misinterpreted his words, probably should read the tons of mistakes i ve posted in the past few months, speeches and Press releases done by LF officials … wou la 7ayat liman tounadi !
Finally, i thank all the impolite and disrespectful people for their insults, it truly shows what you are made of .. again & again !
Cheers

N,
i think you got my point wrong previously and still are …
look at the title :” The new 7akim and the new LF” … it’s wrong …
People change ya n, bass LF never will, like you said LF is an ideology we were raise on …
you can criticise the leaders the VP or whoever you want, LF ideology is one and never will change, no leader no vp, no minister, no wife, nobody will ever change it, they might change, but LF never will … and god forbid they should change, then should be changed …
but please don’t mix the LF as an ideology with the leaders as human beings vonrable to mistakes …
I hope you got my point …
tiz3alch minna ahhh
LOL

Times change N, everybody’s changed. As for Adwan, well “keep your friends close, your ennemies closer”.
Adwan is a very smart man, practical and headstrong. Don’t underestimate him.
You can’t reach perfection N, because it simply doesn’t exist. You should know better than this.
It’s not about fitting in, its about carrying on.

The problem with hakim is that he rarely speaks out; so you have to guess about his stance. The people who follow him deserve to know what are his positions on things.
I’m sure people appreciate his courage and sacrifice, but they need clearer leadership.

Johny.B,
The new LF as in the LF party .. LF will never change for sure .. not as long as there are few people, even tiny minorities who keep reminding everywhere what it stood for ..
AS for its ideology, its over my friend … wait and see the new LF structure and its political line …and get ready to be shocked !
bala ma ne7ke 3an Hakim’s visit to the US ..

N,
I think you got Bashir,Federalism,10452,and LF ideology all mixed-up.Here are some facts:
-Pierre the founder signed the Cairo accord in 1969, Eddeh didn’t.
-Pierre in 1973 offered to send the Kataeb militia to help the Lebanese army against Israel.
-You praise Fedrealism, Bashir spoke of 10452 and Samir and only Samir had the courage to speak about the Kfarshima-Madfoun mini-state, till Aoun blew it up.
-Bashir when elected traveled to Taef and met King Fahd, he came back and refused to sign a peace treaty with Begin, thinking he might be another Nasser for the Arab world.
-All the Lebanese Front leaders, Chamoun,Gemayyels,Malek,Boustany, etc agreed and welcomed the Syrian army into the Christian areas in 1976 with the exeption of 3(junior)leaders at that time: Fouad Chemali,Abu Arz and yes, George ADWAN!
-In all trainig camps I attended since early 70’s non of the speakers spoke about Federalism or partitioning. They all preached “tahrir lubnan”(way before Aoun’s Tahrir war), meaning liberating Lebanon from Phalestinians. In one of Bashir’s speaches I remembner very well how he counted the towns we will liberate mentiong Baalbeck,Saida and Trablous.Samir was way more practical and his objectives were simply the Kfarchima-Madfoun security.
-Things are different with Samir now. Like hell it is.Christians are too weak and divided to ask for Federalism or a Christian state. They can’t agree on a Mukhtar in a jurd village, you think they will be able to pull an independent territory for them? We have no choice but to support the M14 alliance at the moment and make sure Syria will not regain its influence.
11. N10452 | April 12th, 2008 at 11:00 pm
Ziad,
I didnt get anything mixed up .. i ve read Bashir over and over and spoke to many many of his advisors and comrads .. Bashir knew Federalism or decentralization was the only way out .. and the Saydit el Bir ” The lebanon that we want” says it all ..
Bashir & Chamoun opposed the Syrian invasion in 1976 and Pierre came back from his decision and supported Bashir.
As for now, u dont have to be strong to ask for federalism or whatever else … The point is that you have a project in mind and you work for it based on what u have .. but at least you have a clear vision of what you are after … this is where HA excelled and we failed …

N and all rife2 critisizing the LF team today. Noone disagrees that the LF isnt working as one could have expected, the Christians are too weak and divided, and the LF team only has 5 MPs and 1 minister. Anyways, thats not my point, my point is in critisizing VP Adwan. I agree, despite all the hard work hes done, sometimes hes a little clumsy and gets lost in his words. It is incorrect to say that we are Syrias ally, and I wish you listen well to Hakims words. During all his tour in USA, Hakim was asking for Lebanon to be neutral in the Israel/Irano Arab war, Hakim was asking that Lebanon not be used for this war, because Lebanon has nothing to do with it.
But wether we like it or not, is Lebanon influences, used, paying the price for such a war ? The decision is clear, and it is paying.
I agree, VP Adwan is doing some mistakes.
Unfortunately, i fail to read on this blog when VP Adwan asks for the money of the displaced of the mountains, when he critisizes ally FM and Sanioura for their behaviour, for their lack of political maturity despite good position towards Syria ..
I have no doubt you are a rafi2, and noone can come and say you are not allowed to critisize, but i you should see things in both eyes, and write both good and bad things the LF current team is doing, and not just their mistakes.
Allah Ouwet.

N10452,
The history of Lebanon teach a lot. We always forget that we are a part of the Middle East naturaly (Near east).
The bigining of our problems is Isreal getting Palestine and Than we get F**** having those in our country!
3ain Ma bitewem Makhraz!
What you need us to do? Making everybody against us like Aoun? Today the Lebanese problem is regional and we can be out of it and beleive me it is better to be a part.
What is worng to be friends with the Saudi’s, Egypt and Jordania?
Do you remember what Isreal did in 2006? Do you think they care about christians and muslim in this country?
I have Jewish friends and everytime we talk politics they begin to tell me that we are all the same (christian and muslim) . This is them, they hate everybody.
I am LF and I don’t like Edwan and all this bunch of LF board but unlucky we are that Geagea as in the Jail for 11 years and now we are paying this damage.
N10452, continue your blog and we will continue reading you…but maybe reflect that you are sometime out of mind and hurry to criticize and specially internally…
