Its been a year, a year since Sheikh Pierre Gemayel was assasinated.

I said it last year and i repeat it : “Di3an hek shab bi hek balad !”

He was the “quality” Christians needed, he was a rising star in politics, he had plans for the future and was committed to them, he was clean, charismatic, patriotic, popular etc etc etc …

But that is all in the past, we started now counting years since he died, later on we will be having the 2nd year memorial for another great man, Gebran Tueni.
Instead of counting their achievements, we are commemorating their martyrdom without truly realising the immense losses we are enduring ..

Sheikh Pierre sakhra min Lebnen, another name added to that immortal list of martyrs, another great martyr from the Gemayel Family.

R.I.P Sheikh Pierre, Wou Sallemlna 3al Bashir wou 3ala Gebran wou kil chaheed.
