  A double agent actinf for the syrians since the beginning of the war. He was behind every massacre that was lately used against the LF and the Christians: Ehden Safra, Sabra. He might even helped the Syrians killing Bachir in order to replace him and put the LF under syrians command. but Geagea blocked him. He went under direct syrian protection and collaborate with Aoun for the same objective. After Aoun failed because Geagea blocked him, hobeika replaced him in baabda and killed Dany Shamun. The syrians made him minister and deputy. But, after september 11, Hk contacted the americans and gave them intelligence on hezbollah. With the help of his brother, he was working on changing side: the hezbollah and the syrians killed him.

  HK invade Achrafieh in 1987 with help of Syria he is a traitor…Aoun saved HK in 1986 and HK save Aoun’s famuly in 1990 but no one saved Christians from what Aoun and HK did to us…

  HK was a smart man but he used his skills to kill christians and anyone that opposed him or competed with him, in reality he was nothing but a syrian agent and a thug…everyone called the LF fighters zou3ran because of him and because of the way he ran the AMN, which I was part of…there was a big change working for G Touma and Hakim, the LF got orgnized as a professional army under the command of Hakim…I will never have sympathy for what happened to HK, to me he was a thug who killed a lot of my fellow LFers

  Paul thank you my friend for the time to write this info I appreciate it lot…I agree with you “Ma 7ada byirja3 3a beito iza natro msabbeh” I want to all go back to the same house…Please let me answer some what you say with my point of view you can agree or not but this is my opinion with respect:

  1-I agree HK like other LF officer/soldiers took the weapon to defend the Christians and he many people say he was very good in the moukhabarat operations…No problem with him on it.

  2-Problems with HK is what he did after 1982…First he fail to defend Shaikh Bashir from assassination in heart of Achrafieh…Many rumors until today say that HK helped the SSNP to kill Bashir…maybe it is true maybe it is not but he fail to protect Bash.

  3-After he fail with the Agreement in 1986 he did not leave to France or to Cyprus he went to Syrian areas and he attack Achrafieh with their help…This operation killed many people in Achrafieh I was going home from university and the battle was hard.

  4-He make many speeches after 1986 attacking the Kataeb and make fun of the 3aqidah Kata2ibiya on TV and he become the best friend of SSNP.

  5-Sabra and Chatila was massacre of civilian after the PLO military people leave with Arafat there wasn’t resistance so it is different from Nahr Bared in my opinion.

  The first Problem with HK is he did not stay on the same mission like Bashir wanted…DSG make many mistakes and many assassinations like HK but he stay on the course and if Aoun did not destroy us in the 2 wars LF will not agree on Taef like the 1986 agreement.

  From my side Paul when I attack HK I don’t attack you and other LF people who work with him to protect us…He is a leader who made the wrong choice and I attack him for what he did since Bashir was killed.

  I think the history is not all black or all white there is some good and there is some bad so we can only say what is more and for me HK has many more black so that is the problem for me.

  Tareq,

  To say that he fail to protect BG is not fair because you don´t know how many attacks were thwarted ,the protection of bg was not the task of HK he has his own bodyguards and they was from him personally selected,and that HK kill BG! sorry but this is absurd.

  What he said about kataeb etc.I do not believe that he mean it seriously he wanted to win the trust of syria then they have never trusted him.

  I don´t comparisons nahr el bared and S+C

  I just wanted to say that the hate was too deep And thus he killed many others “and himself”.

  Tareq,i have no problem if someone attack HK this is very normal,but to insult him is not ok.
  He was once a leader of the LF and because nobody is 100% sure what is true and not true, we should withhold our prejudices.

  Paul thank you for the good reply…I want to clarify some things…First I don’t want to say HK killed BG or no because I don’t know but I say it is a strong rumor since 1985 when HK change side to Syria and SSNP…We say that Syria killed BG and HK was friend of Syria so he is suspect…that what I hate about HK the most is he change side to Syria…I agree with you some things he say and do because there was deep hate with DSG etc…

  I understand your point of view better now and I agree with you on many things but one thing I think different is it is OK to insult any leader because they are in public affair and they affect our life they cause death and emmigration etc…If you have proof people believe you and if you don’t have proof people don’t believe…With HK it is 100% sure he attack Achrafieh with help of Syria so I attack him because he did it and same for Aoun…BUT it is more important for me to understand a brother in our resistance so I respect your feeling and I say he is now dead there is a higher justice to decide.

  Tareq,i also want to thank you I see that our opinions are not very far from each other . I can understand you very well and maybe that´s why i am on this blog .anyway I will always defend HK despite his faultsBecause it is not about him but about the comrads who standing him close, I think nothing is easier than to stand on the side of the winners and i dont mean you with it .And you have said the correct words”there is a higher justice to decide”.And this means for me he will eventually meet his opponents
