Posted by N10452Another proof that only Syrians can be behind such an assasination, is the perfect timing of this murder and its place and its victim ..
The timing could not have come at a better time, the tribunal is finalized and there are talks about the government resigning or enlarged to regroup the Opposition ministers, talks refused totally by 14th of March Christian leaders, mainly Sheikh Amine Gemayel and Samir Geagea.
Now that Eido is killed, we have a constitutional problem, as expected 14th of March asked for new elections for Eido and late martyr Pierre Gemayel, and if the president doesnt sign them, they will approve the elections anyway, therefore violating the constitution …
This violation will be very problematic and i worry that such a step might put an end to any hopes of new presidential elections …
The place Beirut again to show the government as weak and incompetent … and to send a direct threat to Hariri that not even his region is safe …
The target, one of the closest friends to Hariri senior and junior, and a Muslim sunnite.
Killing a sunnite to erupt new Shiite-Sunnite clashes, and to incite the Muslims to react and cause problems ..
All those prove how much this assasination was meant to weaken the 14th of March, to cause problems between its leaders, and to show its security measures as weak …
However, they did forget one thing, that there is an international community watching them, and monitoring their actions, and that it will back the 14th of March more on every assasination …
I hope and believe 14M leaders are wise enough to avoid any frictions and will face this challenge together as one hand ..

Wouldn’t it be a case of the cabinet sending the bill to the President (he refuses), the cabinet sending it again (Lahoud refusing, again), and then the Cabinet being constitutionally empowered to pass the bill on its own?
That is to say, they wouldn’t be in violation of the constitution.
Correct me if I’m wrong.

Blacksmith is right as long as they give the syrian dog in baabda a period of two month that is why march 14 is rushing the procces before the presidential elections.

but u forget to say that the international community can’t do anything to the syrian regime bcz he’s making peace negociations with isreal ( israel want this regime ). We can’t wait to see what the international community want to do, we have to move, and move here don’t mean war.
Always we as 14march we pay the price of defending the war between the lebanese, and HA we push to the valley. The way how the 14march is treating HA is very wrong, we have to be more agressive whis him and let HA know that we aren’t chikens.
All my friends tell me that if it will be a war between chirstians and HA maybe in 10 mns the HA will defeat us, they forget that when the war of 75 starts the whole world said that in few days the palestenians throw the chirstians in the sea for the palestiens r armed and training and none of us know how to shoot bel nekayfe.
We aren’t afraid from HA neither palestians or the sisi syrian regime. We have as christians to be the firsts on defending lebanon as we have done from the 42 to 2004 when a lot thinked the we have taken our independance and forget that theres more than 700 000 palestians and maybe a million, and HA is armed and he control everything in our country.
14march has changed a lot of things in the way how we think as phonecians .
For the first time the Sunnit understand that Lebanon first and arabic world after.
Lebnon = chistians, we all know why, just bcz we r the single democrat country in this muslim sea with their dectatory regimes and chari3a.
