Patriarch Aoun’os’ The Third
Posted by N10452After dethrowning Patriarch Sfeir and appointing himself as Lebanon’s pope, Aoun decided to counter the Synodos, the Maronite bishops Monthly statement and declare his own Christian principles.
I am not surprising by his attitude, but he definitly keeps on amazing me with the creativity and level of hypocrisy he reaches everytime.
I was advised not to watch his press conference, so i just bothered and read his speech.
Imagine Aoun, the LEBANESE leader, the NON-SECTARIAN leader, the great patriotic general loved by more Muslims than Christians ( at least thats what they say), is preaching on Christian Rights & liberties in Lebanon.
His introduction is almost a copy-paste from the Bishops’ statements or even the Synode:
لأنّ لبنان من دون مسيحييه ليس وطناً، تماماً كما هي حاله من دون مسلميه،
ولأن لبنان الرسالة هو مسؤولية مسيحية ـ إسلامية مشتركة،
After fighting the Lebanese Forces for years, saying they are promoting division and sectarianism with their ‘pluralistic’ federal project, check out what he had to say:
I felt too sickened to even read the rest, but what caught my attention was the 9th point named:
9- رسالة المسيحيين في لبنان:
Which happens to be the title of a booklet by Antoine Najm, the great LF thinker ..
Finally i am not sure if anyone noticed, but he made them 10 points, as in the 10 commandments …
Barke mfakkar 7alo the new Jesus wou mich 3erfeen ne7na …
If i were a Aounist, kenet tammet 7ale bi chi joura wou 2ista7et 3a damme ba2a … It is rationally impossible to brainwash people that much … unacceptable !
PS: The slogan for this text was the ‘Christian’ fish as well, eh walla li sta7o meto …

The big plot we’ve anticipated coming is now here. This is precisely the last step it would take to destroy our civilization. Just in a time when the moral is at its lowest and instead of rallying behind our Patriarch, he hits us in our belief system by taking what is sacred and claiming it his own, therefore associating what is good & wholly to Christians with his demon character. So far, they succeeded to:
First, Divide the street. “sidelining the Christians” has been the biggest theme here. Michel Aoun will exploit it to the hilt. He’s kept the Christians’ minds focused on distrusting each others, distracting them from the things that are destroying them now.
Second, employ a variety of mechanisms to destroy the capacity of persons to trust one another. No trust means no genuine community. Hey, he even introduced racism. We were all Ouwet. Now there’s orange and then there are others. That’s akin of black & white. Now, they can visually articulate the difference between good & evil and that depends on your perspective.
Third, the destruction of our finances by supporting the large sit-ins in downtown Beirut. This weakens the elite business leaders and render the rest of us poor and starved. No job prospect. No aid from Saudi-Arabia or Iran. This leads to mass land purchase from Christian peasants followed by mass immigration.
Fourth, hit the core of our belief system. This has been under work for some time now. His thugs already managed to invade bkerki once and insult the Patriarch. Sleimein frangieh, another christian, has done equally bad towards the Patriarch. We allow it. Today, the plan continues to unfold …

Guys,
Aoun is taking initiatives to protect christians in this country which is good. Who else is taking at least one single initiative ?
6. fad14 | December 4th, 2007 at 9:20 am
to Reader:
First Aoun initiative, destroy east beirut and LF
second Aoun initiative: Taef Agreement
Third Aoun initiative: power to Hizbulla and Lahoud
Fourth initiative (aka One and Only) Me for president and I will be the president for Christians and protect their rights and for Muslims and protect their rights and for Druze and protect their rights and for Sunnis and protect their rights and for Syrians and Iranians and protect their Rights.
Summary: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make me president and I will give everything to everyone.
You CALL that an initiative ???????
Aoun wants to select president, Prime Minister and Head of the parliament and the Ministers and the new electoral law.
What is left for the rest of the POPULATION ???
Worshiping him ????

Gary, it’s more dangerous when a CRAZY idiot thinks he’s always right..
9. johnny | December 4th, 2007 at 11:03 am
His statement seems more like a LF/Kataeb statement. I cannot see where the problem is.
Even in his press conference when the LBC dude tried to trick him into an insult to the batrak he replied with very respective words about him.
No one is taking more advantage of the church than the LF these days. I guess trying to promote aoun vs church battle is a way to increase the saint’s popularity.
Leave the church alone ya jame3a… After all your new batrak is in kraytem…

you’re out of the subject, we are talking about yesterday initiative. Even Ghassan Tueni has agreed with and found it impressive and straight to the point.

Mr. Pierre Richa,
You can’t negate one wrong with another. Uttering insults to Dr. Samir Geagea and to the LF speaks mountains of your intelligence and prudence in the Christian street or, the lack of, rather. Rest assured that Mr. Tueini has our highest of regards. Some things we agree on, others we don’t. However, we go at it with a sense of utmost mutual respect. I’m sorry you were offended but please do go back to your senses.
16. Pierre Richa | December 7th, 2007 at 2:38 pm
My complete regards Mr. Sniper.
