Patience is a virtue, but there are limits to everything .. and yesterday’s act was shameful and deserves a response ..

A harsh, but needed response.

I never imagined i would fight my own LF brother/sister , and i still refuse to do so, even if they behave like thugs and label other LFers as traitors and ignore all their sacrifices .. all in the name of what ??

The Cause ?? The Martyrs ??

Allah yer7am li meto .. wou Allah yer7am el Adiyye iza hek 3alam zo3ran 3am bidef3o 3anna ..

Cyprus, this website existed years before the other website, this website and the people behind this website never try to attack or hack other websites, Samir Geagea knows what his media group is doing, hayda iza he is not behind them!

Samir Geagea should be remove from the leadership and democratic elections should take place in the Lebanese Forces.

  • 3. Hanoun | May 2nd, 2008 at 3:47 pm

its a big shame how the staff of Lebanese-Forces.Org are treated, they kept that site up and running for 11 years when no other LFers dared to, they should be thanked for all what they have done, they kept our cause alive and they stood strong in the face of everyone who attacked the LF, instead of getting attacked there should be a whole page dedicated to them on Lebanese-forces.com…1000 thanks to all the staff of Lebanese-forces.org!!!

I get an error page whenever i press the link..anyone can help ?

  • 5. ahiramkanaan | May 2nd, 2008 at 4:50 pm

    Both of you ar wrong.
All you have to do is simply remove “official” from your site.
All they have to do is respect you as you deserve, and personnaly i want this site as independent as it could, while i’m with Hakim all the way because freedom of expression is sacred in our religion and roots.
The Ouwet is not a baaath copycat.
Wanabka stonger if you both remove the hatred between you because the LF needs you both to survive.

How can you be so sure about the identity of the hacker and why were you so quick to blame the LF for the act. You might trace the IP packet back to the LF site, but with IP-Aliasing a smart hacker can easily be purporting to be from anywhere. The address of record isn’t necessarily what the alias says it is. You were so quick to jump the gun which makes me believe it was either pre-meditated, fabricated, or you hate them so much it’s the first thing that occured to you.
In times like these, one would keep his lips tight. After all weren’t you critisizing Sami Gemayel for being too upfront. Hey, how about you lead by example. The man had two comrades shot dead. You had your site hacked for 3 minutes. Yeah, that’s leadership.

The original post is devisive and caused harm to the credibility of the LF. After all you still call yourself ‘official’. That’s dillusional.

You want respect you have to earn it and respect isn’t earned by claims it’s earned by noble actions. I tuned in here by coincidence thinking it’s a LF site but the more I heard you speak the more it became clear to me that something was a miss.

It’s really hurting me to say all that ya N, and Hanoun, I understand how you feel and you are righteous in your claim. I don’t know the details of how all this came to life but try to resolve these issues internally and try to bring reform from within.

Dears, I am the developer of the site lebanese-forces.com. To all of you i have one word, When we work we are not working for samir geagea or for bachir gemayel we are working for a cause. When we work we are not expecting a thank you, we are not working in a company and also we are not working for samir geagea and why i expect from him a thank you from him. Finally, if tomorrow Toni abi najem found a person who will serve the site better than me he will “KICK ME” THIS IS LIFE, LIVE IT OR …

  • 15. Cyprus | May 2nd, 2008 at 9:05 pm

    N10452 and rami,

this is a bad way of speaking to each other.
N10452, you should understand that lebanese forces is not metel ma kel wa7ad beddo. it is now legal by its leader Dr. Samir Geagea. you should understand this and then you will simply stop judging that lebanese-forces.org is the official website. Again, wait until the election inside LF and try to move everything from inside.
in another hand, i remember that lebanese-forces.com staffs have talked to you many times saying that they need 1 official website for LF, but u ignored them as well. I am not saying that hacking the website is a good way, but also your way drive me crazy because you act as LF belongs to you and some other guys.

  • 16. Mark | May 2nd, 2008 at 9:31 pm

So the reason tayyar.org is better than L-F.com is because of you?

  • 17. N10452 | May 2nd, 2008 at 9:33 pm

And when you are hacking Michel, its for the Cause too ???

Or when you are threatening others sites ?? for the Cause ma hek ??

  • 18. Michel Kanbour | May 2nd, 2008 at 9:48 pm

Dears, tayyar.org is not better than lebanese-forces.com because: in 14 months we were ranked 245 in lebanon and now we are ranked 13, this shows you how aggressive we are and how much we are improving. Finally, i am not a hacker, i am a programer and i do not agree on what happened and i read it here first. I appreciate the work done by lebanese-forces.org but i hope that remove the logos and the “official site notice” the same as this site did. ouwet.com is a sample

  • 19. Tony|ouwet | May 2nd, 2008 at 11:08 pm

Personally i dont think a it was http://www.lebanese-forces.com one because hacking a website is very hard 2 a person who can hack a website will try to put it on someone else u can get the websites ip easily from a program u can dl such as SUB7.

    2. maybe its someone who wanted this to happen from another side?

  • 20. BOULOS_1 | May 2nd, 2008 at 11:22 pm

We are only defending ourselves…we extended our hand more than a dozen times, including high level meetings and this is the answer we get in return. Everything has limits, and they are beyond those limits. Whatever the ramifications are, is no longer our concern. they opened Pandora’s box and know they must deal with it.

  • 21. Tony|ouwet | May 2nd, 2008 at 11:24 pm

Boulos how are u so positive that http://www.lebanese-forces.com hacked youre site if your 100% sure then yes there must be consequences.

But i just want to ask how are u so sure that http://www.lebanese-forces.com hacked youre site?

  • 22. Michel Kanbour | May 2nd, 2008 at 11:58 pm

BOULOUS, we did not hack your site…

  • 23. Mickel | May 3rd, 2008 at 2:06 am

    WE HAVE NO PRESIDENT.

HEZBOLLAH IS TAKING OVER THE COUNTRY.

THE GULF STATES ARE GETTING ALL THE INVESTMENTS THAT WE’RE SUPPOSED TO BE GETTING.

    CHRISTIANS ARE FIGHTING EACH OTHER.

BACHAR L ASAD IS STILL IN POWER.

BUT WHICH WEBSITE IS OFFICIAL??!! THAT’S WHAT REALLY MATTERS RIGHT NOW ;)

I think both sides are dumb for fighting about this :
    Both sites represent the LF
Both sites have pretty much the same views
Both sites are objective news sites

SO WHY WASTE OUR TIME FIGHTING ABOUT THIS???!!

It doesn’t matter if the Christians lose whatever power they have left, or if Hezbollah takes over the country, or if everyone becomes bankrupt… AS LONG AS WE KNOW WHICH ONE IS THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE!

  • 24. N10452 | May 3rd, 2008 at 9:43 am

    Michel,
For someone to hack the site one day before the launching and put the official memo you guys posted earlier on ur site is not very innocent ..

If it is not you officially who did it, then i suggest you post about it and deny any responsability …

And if you dont know who did it, well thats the bigger problem then .. But i am sure you do.

  • 25. Marco (Quebec) | May 3rd, 2008 at 11:16 am

come on… Lebanese-forces.com is way better… not to compare ya3neh…
ba3den Geagea officially communicates via this website not .org… don’t make a big deal out of this wallaw!!!

machounaa wlo… bass N u’re right el Hacking .org kteer wosskha if lf.com did it :S

    Cheers!

  • 26. rami_10452 | May 3rd, 2008 at 4:27 pm

    Dear mark
The reason tayyar.org is better than L-F.com is because of the .org site.

  • 27. rami_10452 | May 3rd, 2008 at 4:32 pm

    Dear N
prove that the .com site hacked the .org site ……. give me one single clue

  • 28. Michel Kanbour | May 3rd, 2008 at 10:09 pm

if you get more visitors this does not mean that you are better. ONE day Jesus lost the election on the GOOD FRIDAY and he was crossified. Lebanese-forces.com is a site that represent the real history of christian the same as ouwet.com but not tayyar for sure………… Lebanese-forces.org could join us if he works for our cause under his name but not hacking Lebanese Forces name…

  • 29. Issa | May 4th, 2008 at 3:34 am

The Lebanese Forces Official Website (www.lebanese-forces.com) is the only official website, as it is being led by the Lebanese Forces Executive Committee directly, and that’s what’s earning it the “official” status.

Nobody denies the work the http://www.lebanese-forces.org group has done in the past 11 years in keeping the image of the LF unforgotten, however, there are limits for everything. They are not the official website of the Lebanese Forces as they are led by individuals and not the party.

There is a big difference, and you must understand this difference.

The L-F.com team has tried to ask you nicely to remove the “official” label from your website, but you refused.

Moreover, you have no solid proof to accuse the L-F.com team of hacking your website. Unless you get that solid proof posted somewhere here or elsewhere, you are no better than the orangists with this propaganda you are raising.

Some of you are acting as children, as if competition between L-F.com and tayyar.org is an issue.
No, it is not, and be sure of that.
Quality of the website is more important than the quantity of the visitors visiting it.
I, myself, visit their website on a daily basis, the same as I visit L-F.com and other Lebanese news websites/newspapers.

Some of you are asking for reform inside the party, well you’re not the only persons. Once there is a better person than Dr. Samir Geagea to lead the party, we’ll be sure to appoint him. Until then, Dr. Geagea is the right person in the right positions; he knows how to talk the talk and walk the walk.

N10452… All goody goodies, are thieves of virtue. I’d rather we state we’re rascals.

  • 31. kanaan | May 4th, 2008 at 11:46 pm

i am glad that the site is keeping official, because after reading all the points (why do the reject federalism, why do they accept being arabs, why have time to visit druze and not bring the church bells back to chouf, etc) it’s all what i agree with……

its good that some people are not afraid to critize that the leadership is going in the wrong direction…..so good job……..

  • 32. kanaan | May 4th, 2008 at 11:48 pm

was it really hacking, or was it simply knowing the adminstrative password?

guessing ones password is not hacking, don’t make it sound like hacking is sophisticated and impossible because it’s not if you know who you are hacking….

for instance, if you use my laptop I can get your password, why? because i can install software to monitor all the keystrokes…….

so hacking is not for the advanced computer science graduates, u know a 14 year old brought down ebay, yahoo, cnn, all at once, eh?

  • 33. Ouwette | May 5th, 2008 at 10:32 pm
