Is Joseph Tarabay the One ?

The Patriarch finally gave Kouchner a list of 6 candidates, including Aoun, Harb & Lahoud and most importantly Joseph Tarabay, the head of the Maronite league.

I believe he is the best alternative and i support his candidacy. He is a clean person, very known for his services, very friendly and is not sided to either teams. He is not a compromise candidate, he is a strong capable one but with no ennemies.

The Patriarch seems to want him and i hope it works out.

    رئيس الهيئة التنفيذية في القوات اللبنانية سمير جعجع يعتبر بعد لقائه البطريرك صفير أنّ نسبة تفاؤل اللبنانيين تراجعت بعد خطاب نصرالله الأخير ويقول أن البطريرك لن يقدّم لائحة اسماء مرشحين للرئاسة.

    every country needs security and finance to stand on its feet, since the leaders will not y3adlo the constitution for michel sleiman and they do not trust the loyalty of riad salameh then it will be for joseph tarabay, even though i’m against it because i do not think that he’s the man who can solve the weapon matter of the palestinians nor of hizballa and that will lead us to another Elias sarkis,

    ذكرت صحيفة الأخبار أن حزب الله أبلغ الموفد الفرنسي كوسران لأول مرة قرار قيادة الحزب بأن العماد عون هو مرشح الحزب للانتخابات الرئاسية، وأن التوافق على شخصية مسيحية أخرى لهذا المنصب يجب أن يحظى بموافقة عون قبل أي طرف آخر

    this is what i call an HONORABLE agreement between muslims and Christians .

    He is a clean guy, and well respected by everyone, but I don’t think he can deal with the difficult issues such as Hezbollah arms.

    أبلغ البطريرك صفير قادة الأكثرية، وآخرهم وليد جنبلاط (عبر موفده وائل ابو فاعور) وسمير جعجع مباشرة بأنه درس موضوع نصاب النصف + 1 جيدا واتخذ قرارا نهائيا بعدم تغطيته مهما كلف الأمر
