Is it just a revenge or a start ?

Why are you people so surprised about today’s bombing ?
There are more than twenty posts on this blog elaborating the spread of arms all over the country and the rise of Jihadists groups all coming from Iraq through the Syrian borders. The first timed bomb exploded in 2006 when the army stormed the Nahr el Bared camp.
The army & ISF became the prime targets of the Jihadists and as a result two fine officers in the security forces were killed ( Wissam Eid & Francois el Hajj).
Since then, we have been hearing about small incidents every now and then until lately a big fuss was made on the Islamists jailed in Roumieh, and a demonstration followed in Tripoli where salafists showed their true face for the first tim ( demo was led by Shahhal and armed men were spotted around him).
The 2007 HA invasion of Beirut was an extra motive for those Sunnite groups to strenghen themselves and the army did a very bad job by covering for the invadors ( HA), and portrayed itself as one-sided.
Those reasons all together and many others caused those groups to emerge, and as much as people think Hariri has a say in this issue, the man has no clue on how to handle them and lost control of them long time ago, after he thought he could use them to counter the HA presence.
Today’s bombing is a very Qaeda-like bombing, targetted against army men who killed the Fatah el Islam terrorists and let Shiites invade Sunnite regions in Beirut. This is how those people think, this is how they behave.
If they really timed the bombing to affect Suleiman’s visit to Syria and Sanioura’s government, then we should be seriously worried of what might follow.
If not, then timing was no issue and thy just were avenging their “martyrs”.
I dont want to sound pessimistic, but option 1 is more probable.

not a criticism but just a comment:
don’t you find that geagea is “de mauvaise foi” when he says “I have no idea who did this”
I mean come on people, this has Qaeda/fatah el islam/jihadist written all over it. It’s a photocopy of the ain alaq bombing a while back, which was fatah el islam’s work.
“I don’t know who did this” MY ASS !!!
Is he trying to protect future movement who is one way or the other related to the jihadist scene (whether you like it or not)
2. N10452 | August 13th, 2008 at 8:21 pm
Walla Anonymous, no one pointed out who did it and unless he has some feedbacks on who did it .. he should have pointed out those groups …
I dont think he is trying to defend anyone .. but in such cases, its always better to just not assume anything unless its very clear and its political .. and this attempt hs nothing to do with politics whatsoever ..

tayyib ya N how come a few month back if someone broke his pinky toe in a remote area in the middle of nowhere, your hakim would immediately accuse syria… shou tghayyar bayn mberi7 wou lyom?? I’m not defending syria ALLAH LA Y2ADDIR. bass fi shi esmo logic and most importantly integrity
5. Patriot | August 13th, 2008 at 9:50 pm
The maintained assumption on this blog is that the future movement has links to salafists/jihadists. Can you provide any evidence or did squeezed Orange TV and Iranian TV get to your heads ? Dude, I’m starting to think I’m reading an orange blog here.

look to the Iraq, when syria wa3adit el amarken eno thadeh el wade3 re2it bel iraq ==> syria hiyeh li bet dir tenzim el kaîda, and all the other terrorist groups.
Leik el timing taba3 el operation: just few hours before the visit of our president to syria.
This is syria
7. nevermind | August 13th, 2008 at 10:13 pm
Anonymous,
You have a point there… But now everyone will play it very carefully because the elections are on the way.
So rushing in accusing syria or israel may compromise the elections, better stay on the safe side. So I think it’s a clever move from Dr Geagea .
“Bass el mishikle, 7tirna ya ar3a wein baddna nbousik” if Dr Geagea says that there might be some car bombs and assassinations, you say he knows because he is behind the killings….
If a car explodes somewhere in China, anti-lf jumps into conclusions that the LF was not targeted that’s why they r behind it.
If the guy says, I don’t know who did it, also u attack him….

Ouwantege,
I know I should ignore ur presence, since u’re nobody, but if you’re enjoying urself by telling us about ur complexes, go on and don’t worry, we will be happy to offer you our help in order to prevent you going to Deir El Salib like ur master Aoun did because he didn’t find any help at that time.
Also take care of the over Doze, u’re still young, Haram ur parents, or maybe no one will miss you

It seems you have the same habit of sucking, maybe u’re doing that at the same time with ouwantege, or you want him so badly to get that jealous.
Don’t worry, mabrouk aleik, you both deserve each others.
I won’t get down to ur level more than that, and maybe it was my mistake to get involved in a debate with some f*** thugs like you too.
One last thing, I wished you replied to my many questions or comments on your previous talking, but of course you won’t be able to do so, since logic is not in ur dictionary whihch is full of crap and disrespect for people.

SOURE (ex-LEBNENE) good job you are showing why some people still love Aoun because you are trash like him. Maybe you will understand if we talk to you like Aoun, so here is a easy one for you, SOURE inteh wou kil shi sheyif 7alak fi ma btusal la zinaro la Rodge, so enjoy what is under his belt because that is the highest you can go.
You understand or you want more?
16. kezballah | August 14th, 2008 at 4:58 am
Rima this example of the Tayyarjieh they are trash and they say LF are thugs, I think they like to be abuse like sado-masochists, someone who like Nasrallah is maybe a pervert.

20. Rodge | August 14th, 2008 at 10:09 am
Stallion,
I truly apologize for mentioning members of your family. It was a mistake and I admit it. I don’t have the right to do that.
On the other hand, and back to our debate, Don’t dream, you will never achieve my standards no matter what you try, you don’t have the ability neither the skills for that.
But I can’t blame you for being so ambitious, but you have to accept the reality and stay at the lowest level you are actually in.
Cheer up

Until the next debate with all my respect.
24. Rima | August 14th, 2008 at 12:08 pm
Hi guys…
Who benefits from attacking the army? That is the one million dollar question…
25. fad14 | August 14th, 2008 at 8:03 pm
I find the post full of assumptions and if your analysis is right, How come we have not seen any attacks on Shiaa and it has been directed towards the army only ?
Wissam Eid was strongly tied to the Tribunal investigation and Francois El Hajj is still a mystery.
I share you pessimism but I don’t agree with your analysis.
The 2 main groups that are still armed and able are Hizbulla and Ahmed Gibril’s men, both specialized in roadside bombs and when they cooperate, they have the biggest network and the most access to explosive devices.
All weapons coming to the country are passed through Syria and with the Syrian blessing.
Remember, when Qaeda hits, they claim their attacks, this is still anonymous and WILL not help releasing the people jailed in connection with Nahr El Bared and Ain Alaq. It will dent their cause even further.
26. Ado | August 14th, 2008 at 8:46 pm
Rima,
if i answer your question, will i have the million dollar????
the answer is,the same guys that attacked it verbally before A.K.A manny majority leaders(Allouch,Ahdab,Geagea,Chamoun…..),
As for those accusing the future movement for leading the fundamentalists,i don’t think they can control them anymore, they first encouraged them, fund them and gave them arms(that’s a verry known fact in tripoli, and go ask Bahia Hariri in Saida about funding Jund El Sham)so they can fight the Syrian/Iranian shiite axis, but the guys got our of control…
Rima again,
I have manny million dollar questions to u or whomever wants to answer:
1-What happened to the investigation about the Ashrafieh invasion by the Fundamentalits?
2-Where are those fundamentalist islamists that we saw on tv,with uncovered faces destroying churches, and public and private propreties in Ashrafieh?
3-Where is Shaker Al Absi, and why they let him escape from Nahr El Bared, and who did it?
4-Why is HizbulTahrir still functioning, though all his targets are illegal, and doesn’t believe in the Lebanese Republic?
5-What happened to the investigations in Ain Alak’s bombing, considering some fundamentelist confessed being involved in that bombing???
I have manny other million dollars questions for you all,and i’ll be verry happy to hear just one answer….
27. Rima | August 15th, 2008 at 3:02 am
what a logic?
28. Stallion | August 15th, 2008 at 3:24 am
no answer as usual because they can not answer such questions. they are now focusing on attacking aoun only . that’s their hakim’s brilliant strategic thinking.
29. kezballah | August 15th, 2008 at 3:57 am
What to answer ya Stallion (fa7el), you FPM people ask questions and you always say they are worth 1 million or half million we try to explain to you they are worth $5 maximum and you never pay when we answer
We have more questions than you and we never get answers but I will give you some answers because badna 2ndall 2a7san minkun.
1- Hariri did not punish the Sunni invadors because he want to keep control in his sect and because no one can punish the Shi3a invadors, you forgot your stupid Sharbel Khalil who make the show about Nasrallah the God??? What happen to the Shi3a invadors??? If your Aoun did not divide the Christian with his graves and his zinar then no one will dare to invade like it was when Kata2eb and LF protect the Christian area remember it???
2- Shakir Absi the army let him go, your army that you love so much and you accuse LF of destroying, the general Sleiman who March 8 nominate first for president, Shakir Absi come from Syria your friend, Shakir Absi was a red line from Nasrallah your ally
3- Hizb Ta7rir is in the face of Kizbollah it is simple, I hate them both you are the one who love Kizbollah!
4- Ain Alaq how you want a government to do anything when your general sabotage it, when your Kizbollah handicap it and have weapons to do 1 million Ayn Alaq
5- Til7as tizeh Stallion and say hi to Arze
30. Ado | August 15th, 2008 at 12:40 pm
Kezballa,
Ya 7aram te3tir…..
You’re so blinded by Hizballa and Fpm hattered that you cannot seem to see and analize clearly anymore,
I understand your fear of the Hizballa weapons,i don’t approove of them and don’t see the Lebanon i want with an armed party outside “kanaf l dawla”,but please don’t be so shalow in analizing things, and answering question by your only hattered, try to be a bit obbjective here,
1-If i totally agree with you, that it was wrong and what Shi3a did in beyrouth, and i don’t agree with what they did after Charbel Khalil’s episod about Nasralla, and that their move was so barbaric and should be stopped,I don’t agree at all that we should let the other confessions do the same,it’s not an exuse for Hariri to let out his sunni criminals in the street,so the christians and the druze do the same, and then where’s the lebanon you and your Hariri and 14 march liars have been talking about, let them stop preaching us with democracy, and freedom and the state of law them, and let them say clearly, they want the rule of their confession against hizballa.
And about Aoun divinding the christians,i don’t agree with you,he took the majority of thew christian votes in 2005,whether it was circumstentionel or whatever, but he took it,and the only to see if he lost it is in the upcomming elections, same thing for Hariri,Hizbolla,Berri and Jumblat…so i think he has the right to represent the christians, till the next election, and not say he divided the christians. Why don’t you say Saad Hariri divided the sunnis, for there are manny sunnis against him(Karame,Hoss,Makhzoumi…),same goes for Jumblat and Berry and Hizbo….
Did you expect from Aoun to kiss Hariri’s ass and suck up to him and be his follower so not to be considdered as divider of christians, like all the other creeps likeChamoun,Edee,S3eid,Geagea,Jumaiel…they are the ones who divided the christians, because they didn’t not accept the lead of Aoun who got the majority of the elections….If Geagea gets the majority of christian elections in 2009,all the christians should agree that he’s the christian leader, that’s if he gets the majority….
2-YES i agre with you that the army let absy go,but why blame 8 march, you should blame your allies who didn’t say it clear and loud, and voted like sheep to Soleiman, you can’t go blame 8 march when your leaders do the same as them, but only lie and speak lies that they don’t turn into actions
3-Are you that stupid or are saying that Ahmad Fatfat is from 8 march?????wasn t it Fatfat that legalized hizbu l tahrir????ya 7aram 3al ghaba2
4-If the goveremnet can do nothing than it’s not 8 mrach’s fault……..
31. kezballah | August 15th, 2008 at 3:39 pm
Ado I am happy that I tell Stallion #5 because you FPM people call LF people stupid all the time like you are so smart, you expect answers like we owe you something like you are the people who protect us since 1975 and stop the Syrians from coming to our areas, stop wasting your time we know what you are and we know who we are… OK back to the topic.
1- You are against Hezbollah barbarism but you ally with them, and on the other side you want Hariri to be Ghandi. Where are you living what planet?? Please don’t stay in the sun for too long it is not good for you, look what happen to your General when he dream crazy fantasies he end up in France in his Pijama. Hariri (Sunni) already agree in the dialogue to disarm palestinian and ALL parties, Nasrallah refuse to discuss his holy weapon and launch the war with Israel, this is what you support don’t blame the Sunni or anyone else.
2- Aoun won the majority in 2005 that is true so tell me who is pointing a gun on his head, is it Dory Chamoun, Amin Jmayel, Carlos Edde threaten him?? Is Geagea trying to assassinate the great Gibran Basil?? If you win majority it mean you can cut the roads with tires and stop people from going to work?? Go do what you want since you have majority you always say we are nothing and you are everything, OK go win against Hariri. What you want from us, you insult us and you want from us to help you?? That is not dividing the Christian?? You change your policy 180 and you want us to help you after you win with our vote?? That is democracy or lying???
3- Fatfat give the license to Ta7rir because it is message to Hezbollah that Sunni can do the same. I am AGAINST it but I live in the real world, if your neighbor put a gun against your house and refuse to remove it you will buy a gun to protect yourself this is how life works since 10000 years!
I will make you a deal Ado when you grow up and understand more go to ask Hezbollah for their weapon and I promise I ask Fatfat for Ta7rir license. Is it a deal?
32. Rima | August 15th, 2008 at 3:53 pm
Kizballah…don’t you hate hypocrisy?
Ironically, most people are upset with hariri and siniora coz they are acting like ghandi…I wish one day we will have tougher guys there…then they will yitrahamou ala Hariri…
33. kezballah | August 15th, 2008 at 6:40 pm
Rima I am used to FPM hypocrisy now but yes you are right I don’t like it, they tell you Sunni Wahabist is evil and they support Chi3a extremist, they dare to say the Chi3a extremist are better because they kill less people, how stupid are they????
One minute they say the alliance with Hezbillah is against ta2ifia, the next minute they talk about protecting Christian against Sunni, one minute they say Hezbollah are Lebanese and next minute they say Sunni are Saudi. Hypocrits and brainwashing = their brain don’t work anymore.
34. Ado | August 15th, 2008 at 7:07 pm
Kezballa and Rima,
first of all i’m not an Fpm supporter,
Second of all,i just want to wish you good luck with the salafists and jihadists, and your Ghandy Hariri and Signora
35. kezballah | August 15th, 2008 at 7:58 pm
Ado than you for the luck all of us we need luck always
I think if you are not FPM then you are one of the people who criticise everyone because they want to be the leader so why you don’t open a new party, the party of Ado you can call it APM Ado Patriotic Movement because you defend Aoun and FPM all the time, Ado sound like Aoun so you will be very close.
But I don’t think FAM is a good name, Free Ado Movement because it sound like FEMME and you were not very nice with the girls
OK Good luck to you also with doing something useful in life
36. Ado | August 15th, 2008 at 9:57 pm
Oh thanx Kezballa such bright ideas, thanx a lot,i’llconsider…..
and thanx for the sense of humor i always appreciate it….
37. kezballah | August 16th, 2008 at 4:21 am
Ado I am happy it doesn’t bother you to joke about it, we are opposite in politics but I don’t hate you and I don’t wish anything bad to you, I respect if you don’t like LF and Geagea because they affect you in negative you, I hope you respect I can not stand Aoun because he also affect me in very bad way.
