  8th of March, and Syria of course, thought that Sarkozy will be less agressive than Chirac, concerning Lebanon. I think now they realized how wrong they are, they realized that it wasn’t the friendship between Chirac and Hariri which governed the France Policy, but it was and it still the French beliefs and interests. How could they thought France will change its policy and ally with Dictatorships (Syria – Iran) and extremists groups (HA) while rorking against people who are looking for Dem,ocracy and liberation from occupation (both Israel and Syria). No one should forget that France is the mother of Democracy and Liberation, knwn for Freedom Equality and Fraternity, and are the Charles DeGaulle descendants. France will always support Free People, so it will always support the Cedar Revolution represented by the 14 of March leaders, regarding the few mistakes they are doing, but who does no mistakes is the one who don’t work. At leats they are working, not like the “Syrian Agent” who unfortunately lives in Baabda, who will be remembered in the History trash can.

  As a Christian, Not in support of Aoun, nor Geagea for that Matter, it would be rude, unlawful and unjust to compare Hezbollah to Al Qaeda as a tesrorist organization. You know, as much as any one, even Israel, that Hezbollah is Not a terrorist organization. So get off it!

  well fad14 back in the eighties eveyone was a terrorist group, the ouwet, amal takadomieh mourabiton…… all were terrorists at least hezbolla was a terrorist against the western world not lebanon, and specifically they never fought and christians. history speaks for itself.

  Since when do they(france) negotiate with HA?

  Wheter you like it or not , Ha are a regional force.

  This is what the western world , including america , is starting to experience today , is no way to defeat popular movement by the name of REFORM i.e : Algeria, Vietnam , Palestine , Lebanon ect….

  It’s been said that it takes a religion to fight a religion . In my opinion , it takes true faith to defeat a false faith . And by true faith , I dont mean the invaders ! I mean AS7AB AL ARED! Face reality guys.

  This article was issued today in Kuwait “Al Rai” Newspaper. Interesting to look at it. Once again the “Great Gibran” el Soher al aziz. Tobb el jarra 3a temma byotla3 el soher la 3amma.

  حمّلت قطر السلطات اللبنانية مسؤولية تعريض حياة ركاب وأفراد طاقم إحدى طائراتها المدنية للخطر، وذلك بعد أن ضبطت سلطات أمن مطار الدوحة سلاحاً محشواً وذخائر حية مع مسؤول العلاقات العامة في التيار الوطني الحر جبران باسيل لدى وصوله إلى العاصمة القطرية مع النائب اللبناني العماد ميشال عون في مطلع الشهر الجاري، وطالبت بفتح تحقيق رسمي.
  ووجهت الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني احتجاجاً رسميا إلى المدير العام للطيران المدني في مطار رفيق الحريري الدولي الدكتور حمدي شوق، وهو الاحتجاج الذي نورد نصه في ما يلي:
  «انه ليقلقني شديد القلق أن أعلم أن سلامة ركاب وأفراد طاقم طائرة تابعة للخطوط الجوية القطرية تعرضت إلى خطر محتمل بسبب راكب منطلق من بيروت اتضح أنه كان يحمل معه مسدساً محشواً وذخيرة حية على متن تلك الطائرة على الرغم من انه غير مسموح له بذلك».
  ولقد اتضح أن ذلك الراكب يدعى جبران جورجي باسيل وانه انطلق من بيروت بتاريخ 2 يوليو 2007 على متن رحلة الخطوط الجوية القطرية رقم 423، وانه كان يحمل مسدسا محشوا عيار 6 ملليمتر من طراز «وولتر» إضافة إلى 50 طلقة في حقيبة أمتعته التي اصطحبها معه إلى داخل مقصورة الركاب. وعندما تم توقيفه من جانب مسؤولي مطار الدوحة الدولي، قال جبران جورجي باسيل انه كان مسافرا مع ميشال عون وانه «يحمل المسدس معه دائماً على متن الطائرة عندما يسافر».
  وباعتبارها دولة عضواً في المنظمة العالمية للطيران المدني فإن دولة قطر لديها التزامات بفرض جميع الاجراءات اللازمة والكفيلة بالحؤول دون حمل الأسلحة دون تصريح على متن الطائرات.
  وتماشياً مع تلك الالتزامات، شرعت دولة قطر القانون رقم 15 لسنة 2002 المتعلق بتنظيم الطيران المدني. وتحظر المادتان رقم 18 و20 من ذلك القانون حمل اي اسلحة أو ذخائر على متن اي طائرة مدنية الا بموجب تصريح رسمي من جانب الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني. كما ينص ذلك القانون على فرض عقوبات قاسية ضد أي تصرف قد يشكل خطراً على سلامة اي طائرة ركاب.
  وانني على يقين من انكم تتفقون معي على ان سلامة الطائرة المشار اليها آنفاً تعرضت الى خطر محتمل في ظل حمل أحد الركاب مسدساً محشواً دون أن يكون لديه تصريح بذلك.
  وسأكون ممتناً لكم اذا قمتم من جانبكم بالتحقيق في هذا الموضوع وأن تبلغوني بأمرين أولهما هو: لماذا تم السماح بحمل السلاح والذخيرة الى مقصورة الركاب من دون الحصول على موافقة مسبقة من الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني القطرية وثانيهما: لماذا لم يتم اكتشاف أمر ذلك السلاح وتلك الذخيرة خلال اجراءات التفتيش الأمني في مطار بيروت؟
  وبدوره، وجه مدير خدمات الخطوط الجوية القطرية في مطار بيروت الى قائد أمن المطار العميد وفيق شقير رسالة خطية في التالي نصها:
  «لقد أبلغني المكتب الرئيسي للخطوط الجوية القطرية يوم أمس (2 يوليو 2007) بحدوث خرق أمني خطير من جانب راكبين لدى وصولهما الى مطار الدوحة، حيث تم توقيف أحدهما ويدعى جبران جورجي باسيل عند نقطة التفتيش الأمني بعد أن اتضح انه كان يحمل معه مسدساً وذخائر حية في حقيبة الأمتعة التي كانت بصحبته في داخل مقصورة الركاب. وأكدت التحريات ان هذين الراكبين كانا قد وصلا للتو الى الدوحة (قادمين من بيروت) على متن الرحلة رقم QR423 بتاريخ 2 يوليو 2007.
  وفي ما يلي اسما الراكبين وفقاً لما ذكره أمن مطار الدوحة:
  1 – جبران باسيل، مقعد رقم B1 (تم ضبط مسدس وذخيرة حية في أمتعته التي كانت معه في مقصورة الركاب).
  2 – الجنرال ميشال عون، مقعد رقم A1.
  وأود ان أبلغكم ان مسؤولي الخطوط الجوية القطرية في مطار بيروت لم يتم إخبارهم في أي وقت بأن ذلك السلاح الناري سيتم حمله إلى داخل مقصورة الركاب.
  ويرجى العلم بأن الخطوط الجوية القطرية تحظر بشدة حمل أي أسلحة الى داخل مقصورة الركاب، ولذلك فإننا اعتبرنا هذا الأمر بمثابة خرق أمني خطير. كما ان مكتبنا الرئيسي كلفني رسمياً القيام بإبلاغ هذا الأمر إلى كل من أمن المطار والى الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني لإجراء مزيد من التحقيقات.
  وسنكون ممتنين إذا قمتم من جانبكم بإجراء مزيد من التحقيقات حول هذه المسألة وان تستعينوا بنتائج تلك التحقيقات لضمان عدم تكرار مثل تلك التصرفات مستقبلاً.

  To all the guys defending HA,

  and with all respect, HA is not a terrorist organization anymore, ok i’ll agree with you, but is it a resistance organization??

  I think back in the 80’s and some of the 90’s, Hizbollah was both a terrorist and a resistance force, but in the time being, it’s not terrorist and not resistance, it’s a agent who’s implementing the agenda of 4 parties. US, Israel, Iran, and Syria.
  I don’t think these 4 countries could find a better agent to execute their policy in Lebanon and the Middle East, or to keep the situation as they want to be able to interfer and execute their plans. HA together with Hamas and some of the Palestinians and Iraqis are doing the best task for those 4 big forces in the region and the world.
