How involved are the SSNP ?
Posted by N10452What happened yesterday was not a simple operation or just some amount of explosives caught and definitly took a decision as bold as the one Elias el Murr took to go to Donniyyeh and catch the drug dealers there.

We are talking about a Pro-syrian very well organized party and a first class ally of the Syrian Intelligence agencies in Lebanon, not to forget the SSNP has its own network.
The army and ISF caught more than 400 kg of explosives, added to timed bombs and timers and small grenades and guns etc etc ..
Added to that, 9 SSNP members were caught and moreover SSNP head Ali Kanssouh did not bother to deny that but on the contrary defended the party’s right to hold weapons.
Another interesting factor, is that the black jeep that was caught belongs to an SSNP responsible named Tony Habib, ex-security responsible in the party. According to the ISF reports, he reported that his car was stolen earlier and claimed it was a red jeep, then coloured it and changed its number, as if he was intending to use it in a certain operation.
The SSNP have been involved in bombings and assasinations for a long time now, and i hope ISF will intensify the arrests and searches in the party’s branches and bring those endangering the country’s security to justice and even sue the party and ask for complete reports on its belongings.

I “could” give the SSNP the benefit of the doubt on almost everything but I CAN NOT give them an excuse on Habib’s stealing his own car and falsify its records! How can someone call to say that his car is stolen and later you find out that HE is driving it after changinf its color and VIN number? It is terrorist attack in planning written all over it!
We promise Muslims and Christians that we will stay united forever to defend our great country Lebanon!

Its very weired , TAYYAR DIDNT mention anything regarding this incident. But when they have catched 9 bodyguards of Sheikh pierre Daher , Tayyar website was plenty of the stories that hizbullah and syrian allies were claiming that these people are LF.

well the van was stolen in 1998 and was returned to the family in 2002 and there’s documents to rove it, and the explosive were found inside a closed room that has no doors or windows , the ISF had to breack a wall to get it, funny all of that is not mentioned

Why doesn’t Lebanon abolish all these political parties? Esp. one’s that are allied with Syria? You know, they can’t be up to any good.
