Hezbollah & Iranian deadline
Posted by N10452Day after day, the link between the war Hezbollah started and the Iranian Nuclear issue is becoming clearer. After having accepted to disarm and let the army redeploy, Hezbollah got orders from Iran to distract the international community and the Lebanese & Israeli government by refusing to disarm and starting to threaten political opponents in Lebanon and asking for guarantees.
Not only that , Hezbollah is rushing to reconstruct houses before the government so it can fortify its positions yet again and keep controlling the regions.
Iran is celebrating the victory more than Shiites in Lebanon are, with posters and festivities and speeches and a transport cost-free day for everyone.
I really urge Jumblatt, Geagea and other leaders to attack fiercly Hezbollah, Syria and Iran and if possible start preparing for a second 14th of March, one that ll remove all traces of Syrian and Iranian agents in Lebanon and pave the way for a strong united sovereign Lebanon.

I ve been following the news from the US, reading different opinions, including those of the Israelis; and I must say, reading your article is no different than any of those listed on their site, except that theirs is in Hebrew;
Its sad to see a Lebanese, supposidly educated, yet so blinded by the words of the western hypocrisy, pardon, democracy, which dictates a new middle east, so that the barn is completely secured, , and the oil keeps flowing west, under the name of that democracy;
Whether we liked it or not, the excuse used by the west about Iran and Syria, remains an excuse for a bigger plot; drawing a new map for the middle east, without opposition, has been on the table of the Bushes administrations;
I personally don’t relate to neither Syria or Iran, but i somehow see their joy in all this; I see the joy of someone standing up to a brutal state like Israel, which somehow needed to happen one way or the other, not for the sake of Iran or Syria, but for the sake of those who suffered in the south of Lebanon, and paid the bigger part of that bill;
I hope that one day all Lebanese, would come to realise that patriotism is not a word written on the cheek, or a political movement to hide behind and brag about, but rather a stand, built on the love of land, and the will to sacrifice..
God Bless.

Ya “Tony”…it is sad to see educated people soo willing to ignore facts and soo blindly following so called leaders without even questioning why and where and how…
anyways…so nice of you to drop by and talk about patriotism when those you are defending do not deny their ties to Iran and Syria…
As for will to sacrifice, be my guest…no one is holding you…but its easy to talk about sacrifice when u r miles away…

othello, If you count losing a brother as a scarifice, then I had my share..
the only fact that needs to be addressed here is Lebanon standing tall, whether thru Nasrallah or Geagea; I am sure if you guys were attacked from the north, and stood up for yourselves, you would be considered heroes as lebanese, regardless if you sympathize with France, or China, wouldnt you??
The big picture is that Lebanon made a difference, period.. thats what I believe in, the same way i believe in March 14th of last year.. And the only concern of mine is Lebanese going back to civil war, as many outsiders wish..
It would be a pity to fall into that ignorance again…

You are witnessing the birth of AL JOUMHOURIYYA AL ISLAMIYYA AL LOUBNANIYYA - No one has the guts to stand up and fight - we all want somebody else to do the figght for us. And when they start doing it, we cry and shout… Khalass ba’a ya chabeb - Either we stand up - fight and eventually die, or we just lay down and… die at the hands of the thugs like Zibballah..,. The choice is only ours

Tony, I think you should understand one thing; we Americans really don’t care about the Middle East’s damn oil and personally, I would ride a bicycle the rest of my life if it would mean that not one more gallon of Middle Eastern oil came into my nation.
So while you gripe about the west ask yourself what would happen to the Middle East if America not longer bought oil from it?
Hezbollah is a terrorists organization but as long as it takes on the Big Satan and the Little Satan, you would turn a blind eye to what it does to your own people.
Hezbollah is not Lebanon but Lebanon is going to become Hezbollah. Great. What then? Tatooed crosses on the arms of all Christians? Iran style tags that Christians and Jews must wear to be identified?
Hezbollah has been backed by Iran to the tune of $100 Million a year. Is that what the Lebanese want? To be the puppet of Iran?
So perhaps you can explain to me, while you sit in the comfort of you U.S. home, why you hate so the very nation that allows you to spew your hatred?

It was an Iranian site that I read about Iran’s orders to Hezbollah Moughtareb.
So you believe in March the 14th. Will you stand up for the March 14 people when Hezbollah executes them.
And hating Israel, or the Jews, Nasrallah at least doesn’t use euphemisms. It was very useful for the Nazis to create an enemy to unite and hide their ambitions for dictatorship behind. Why do you need to fall for the same trick.
If it wasn’t for the likes of Othello I too would say, leave them to Hezbollah. And care not one jot when your chickens come home to roost. But unfortunately, or fortunately, you are not what Lebanon or the Lebanese are.
M simon reports retire05 that it has cost Iran 5-6 billion to arm Hezbollah and they have blown it. Iran is a disfunctional dictatorship that abuses its minorities and this is not a cost they can easily shake off.
Moughtareb, look at how Iran and Syria treat those who are thier minorities, or who disagree with the. Do you want a place where 16 year old girls get hung for “sexual misdemeanours”. And their 53 year old married seducers/abusers get a fine. Do you?

Retire05, I never hated the US or its nation; thats why i am here; however, no one can deny that the policy of this country has always been twisted and allied with a country that kills civilians in order to establish a proof of power, thus state of terror; as far as oil, you bet everything revolves around oil in this country; Iraq, and now Iran, not to mention the little bases around the gulf countries; its known that 90% of the oil reserve left is in the middle east and Bush is very aware of it; 300 Billion and couple of thousand body bags for what? Weapons of mass destruction, democracy? heh, wake up buddy and join the rest of the americans in in their awakening; And I wouldnt worry about the middle east if they stopped supplying the US with oil, instead, I would worry what happens to the US economy if that happens; few days of fighting in the middle east and the gas prices hit a record high.
The word terrorism should be changed in the dictionnary to read, “Terrorism: The act of opposing the US policy and its allies”. That makes more sense.
I am sure North Korea will also be branded as terrorists very soon, but under what? too bad Islam terrorism wouldnt apply there, would it? I cant wait for the tag line;
Ros, to hell with Iran and Syria..I just want to be able to stand up against any tyranny and prove that Lebanon wont be a shooting range for anyone, and that south border is not a park ride whenever israel wants to play Machiavelli’s tactics.. I think that has changed…
Cheers.

Tony, perhaps you should do a little more research. There is enough oil under Texas alone, to support the U.S. for 30 years. Not to mention Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Alaska, the Texas-Louisiana gulf coast. Do you think that the Arab nations could sustain their income from just China and India alone?
You say that the U.S. supports Israel. Yep. It does. Out of the 55 Islamic nations, name me one that is prosperous and takes care of its own. Just one. Jordan probably comes closest, but Queen Noir is an American.
You also want to ignore that young people are strapping bombs on their bodies and going into Isreal to kill people at a bus stop. Or at a cafe. Do you not consider that terrorism? Of course not, it was not done by the U.S. or Israel so you will excuse it.
I hate to break this to you; but the rest of America doesn’t agree with you. We remember the Twin Towers, and that is not likely to go away anytime soon. The beauty of the U.S. economy is to adapt to any condition. We would not crater if we never got another gallon of oil from the Mid-East. We would adjust.
One question for you, Tony. If we were bombed by Iran or North Korea, would you fight for Iran or would you join the U.S. military? I doubt your loyality is to the nation that provides you with so much.
