Do you know where your sons are?

In an article entitled : In Lebanon, 2007 looks like 1974: Do you know where your sons are? , the author argues that “Surely those who survived the civil war cannot want their sons to experience similar horrors - or to inflict them on a new generation of innocents. To prevent history from repeating itself, they will need to be brave enough and wise enough to go against the warlords.”

And indeed, he is making a very valid point, and that “picnic” incident two days ago could have easily degenerated and turned into a blood bath if some LFers happened to be there “training” as well ..

It is not about FPmers training or not here, its about our whole community not thinking clearly and getting too blinded by their leaders and by imagining ways to destroy the other … not know that such attitudes will harm us all ..

There is a huge responsability among leaderships from both sides and most importantly on parents who should keep their kids on the right track and let them avoid getting dragged into training camps or other similar issues …

This whole process of arming ourselves is spreading like a virus in our society, and could “only multiply the number of potential sparks in a political climate already overflowing with tinder”.

We need to think forward, think of our future, our children’s future ..

    Dude, the FPM is THE symbol and icon and trademark and blind followers.
    We’re not the ones calling our leaders GOD.

    And we criticize our leadres many times, like on this blog for example.

    No lebanese forces don’t have boot camps, cause we learned that war didn’t get us anywhere … we are trying pure politics now …

    but there’s a famous L.F proverb : In 3oudtoum, 3oudna … means if you’re back then so are we.

    I saw yesterday the explanation on otv with all the childrens in pic nic.I was really shoked over so a cheap defense method.
    did the reporter or parents made thoughts over the protection of identity of these childrens???
    this is a clear case of child abuse for political purposes.

    we put children at the front ,to ask them later… where they were!?

    Johnny.B, rafi2 it’s not a question of whether Ali is proud of what he said or not, it’s the only language he knows, it’s because he has a m3allem (they call him the Istez) who takes orders like a good boy, he thinks we are the same way.

You know life has a lot more to offer than the smelly feet of Berri and the old wrinkled stuff under zennar Aoun, you should go out more often and smell the roses, doesn’t FPM or Amal organize picnics without Klashinkovs?

    You say I contradicted myself, isn’t the contradiction when you say first that Berri zatto la Geagea in jail, then in the second post you say it was Hariri and Junblat yalleh zattou in jail? The truth is they all betrayed Geagea and betrayed Lebanon by following the Syrians (m3allmeenon kellon except Geagea), but Hariri and Junblat woke up and broke up with Bachar while Berri is still in love :-)
