Some of you may remember me as the asshole cousin who wrote that rant making fun of Syria. Some of you probably hate me and I can respect that. You’ll have to join the list, though. I’m wanted enough throughout America without having the Middle East on my ass. Just take a number and chill out. You’ll get your chance to rip me a new one in no time.

The topic of today’s discussion revolves around Lebanon’s multiple problems. I love my country and I want to see if thrive, but at some point, it just doesn’t seem like a possibility. With the recent (past couple of years) killings of many (mostly Christian) political leaders/people/whoever, the country is more on edge than ever. It’s depressing, but not as depressing as thoughts that began to surface later on.

I’ve stated before that I hate most Middle Eastern countries, though not necessarily for their people. I can hate Syria and Israel, but still like and respect an individual from that country. In fact, the only people whom I don’t like are those involved in supporting those countries’ governments and anyone who staunchly supports that government (Are you reading this, Bush? I think Israel wants you to roll over and then play dead sometime in the near future.).

With that said, let me say this: even with all the attacks against my country and its freedom, I am even more so disgusted with the Christians. Yeah, you read that right.

Here’s a brief recap: Syria is trying to take Lebanon over. Iran is helping out to distract the world from their problems. Hezbollah is being supported by both of those countries in an effort to overthrow the Christians and turn the government into a Muslim Republic. Israel just recently decided that “defending yourself” translated into “bombing the ever-loving shit out of anything and everything” and not having to worry about it because the US is always there to support it and kiss its ass. In short, Lebanon is the one country in all of the Middle East that everyone wants.

So with all these enemies and all these problems, why am I disgusted with the Christians? Simple. They’re all fucking morons.

I know, I know. That was blunt. But it gets the point across in the easiest possible way. The Christians are complete idiots because they do not stand together and unite against a common enemy, choosing instead to fight amongst themselves. They take the words of jackasses like President Emile Lahoud (who looks like an exhumed corpse) and General Aoun (who looks like someone who’d fuck an exhumed corpse). They listen to these leaders who staunchly support a terrorist group (Hezbollah, for those of you too stupid to figure it out) that wants to turn the country from a Christian state into a Muslim one when those leaders are Christians themselves. They use their blind, unfounded hatred for Israel and the US (and possibly Christians, from the looks of things) as an excuse to kill civilians, attack other countries with no reason whatsoever, and altogether just bring Lebanon down.

You’d think this would be obvious to everyone, but unfortunately, people are morons. So the Christians lap all this up and start fighting in separate groups. You have the Aounies, who use complete irrationality instead of reason; the Geageas, who just like to complain about the Aounies without doing much about it; and the remaining miscellaneous pro-Syrian/Hezbollah people who like to hand out sweets when Hezbollah wins a pissing contest with Israel, which didn’t even want to compete in the first place.

All in all, the Christians should be smart enough to unite. Instead of picking sides, they should be on one side: with each other. Corny, I know, but it’s true. Instead, they separate themselves and follow causes that make no sense whatsoever (Aounies are the best example of this.). They should be uniting to take a stand against Christian persecution of any kind, whether it be from Hezbollah attacking another country in defense of Lebanon (which causes those countries to attack us back), Israel doing whatever it wants whenever it wants (with US support, of course), or Syria deciding to kill all the Christian/anti-Syrian leaders. We should be taking a stand against all this bullshit together, but we’re not.

While I am hateful toward the devastation of my country and hateful toward those who support it, I am even more baneful against the idiot Christians who claim to want change, but either do nothing about it or choose the worst side possible to do something about it. If they continue to act accordingly, then they don’t have my sympathy. I feel for my country, but not for the dickless asswipe Christians who mourn for a short while before reverting back to indifference and supporting “leaders” who have no right to be in power in the first place.

I love Lebanon and I hate those who wish to destroy it, but even I can say that the Christians get what they deserve if they don’t clean up their act.

“…In short, Lebanon is the one country in all of the Middle East that everyone wants”.

    Mmmm… I don’t want!!

“…The Christians are complete idiots because they do not stand together and unite against a common enemy, choosing instead to fight amongst themselves”.

Blame your bald (not bold) leader for that.

dear writer, I will take a number but in the line of those who thank you for your nice contribution. Your post is witty and pleasant to read. I have two short remarks: we, the “Geageas” as you call us, we hardly have any option of action. Most christians are ounists and the sort of unity they champion is the one in which we have to join their camp, not the one in which they join ours or a thrid new camp. This means that to achieve unity we must follow blindly the almighty leader “who looks like someone who’d fuck an exhumed corpse”. The second reason why our hands are tied will be best understood if you look back 17 years ago. We fought a very shy fight-or-die battle against Aoun and still the christian community pointed its fingers at us as the ones who messed up the country. So any drastic move we do right now will again put us on the defendant bench in a court where Aoun will again be the almighty judge. So dear writer, we have little to fight and this your article actually and fully bespeaks our state of mind. Cheers

very nice and honest article , but i have many comments :
    1) u insult all the christians , yet u put Geagea as the greatest of them all , forgetting all what he has done …if u say aoun is working with syria and Iran , then u should also say , geagea is working with israel and the states (and France) . both shouldnt work with any of them or work with one ally who has the same interest as lebanon
2)u always talk about hezbollah…should i remind u that hezbollah is the only armed militia that hasnt slaughter the christians ? hwo jumblat ? how about the palestinians (fatah) and the sunni , mourabitoun , what have they done with the christians …wasnt our fight against them as a first start ? lets not forget who they were…
    3) u talk about hezbollah wanting to make an islamic country…. do u think walid jublat doesnt want a free druze country from lebanon to syria ? you think the sunna doesnt want the palestinians implemented in lebanon ….havent we fought all our life against fatah , since bachir gmeil ? will we forget our martyrs who fought against the palestinians , in just a paper?? lets not forget how Sharon insulted bachir , when he asked him to take the palestinians out of the south ….lets not fotget the american KISSINGER plan for the palesteinians in lebanon , and the immigration of the christians… lets not forget all these plans for lebanon….
    4) You always focus on the syrians , and the iranies….and the 10 000 armed hezbollah….. lets not forget the main issue and problem in lebanon… the 500 000 PALESTINIANS where 20 % is armed and fully equipped and ready at any second to attack the christians and the chiaa (with an alliance with the sunni )…lets not forget that threat …hasnt saad el hariri worked for an amnesty for aboul 3aynayn , the one who killed christian officers in the army?> hasnt saad el hariri grouped many times , with the head of haraket fateh in lebanon ? Saad make look rich , and educated , Hassan nasrallah make look less rich , religious and non educated ….but lets not forget a famous lebanese quote : “EL mazaher betghech ktir…”
    Best Regards
