Cool it down Angry Arab !

Al-Akhbar have been posting articles from AngryArab blog for a while now, articles full of hatred towards the Christian parties in Lebanon ( mainly the LF & Kataeb) and of course Anti-American Anti-Zionist ( as they call them) posts.

If i were the head of Kataeb or LF nowadays, i would have sued such papers and this author cause of the numerous false accusations and namings, but for now i can only comment on his article and explain to the readers the false accusations being addressed to Sheikh Bashir Gemayel, the Phalanges and the Lebanese Forces.

The article is entitled : “The triumph of the Kataeb Ideology”

Here are few mistakes commited am sure on purpose by our dear author to disrespect Sheikh Bashir and the LF & Kataeb’s history.

ثم جاءت حرب الإلغاء لتقضي على آخر ‏فرصة للصعود العسكري للحزب الذي حلم في عهد بشير الجميل بالسيطرة على كل لبنان، مستعيناً براعيه الإسرائيلي ‏‏(حان الأوان للتوقف عن ترداد الأكذوبة المعروفة ـــــ والمخترعة من قبل الدعاية الكتائبية في مرحلة لاحقة ـــــ حول ‏خلاف بين بشير الجميّل وحلفائه الإسرائيليين. صدقية هذا الزعم كمثل الزعم بأن عاصم قانصوه اختلف يوماً مع ‏النظام السوري).

Accusing Bashir of being a loyal ally to Israel, and comparing him to Assem Kanssouh and his relation with Syria and denying the fact that Bashir had an argument with the Israelis…. i wish our professor had done further studies to realize how Sharon was pissed from Bashir for not offering him enough and how Bashir was always after the Americans rather than the Israelis.

After that, he moves on to throw another lie on the Kataeb party and Sheikh Pierre Gemayel its founder.

والحزب هذا لم يكن يحلم بالصعود الذي ولجه في فترة الحرب الأهلية. حكاية البداية معروفة الآن: المؤسّس تأثّر ‏وأُعجب بتجربة النازيّة في الألعاب الأولمبية في برلين
Again i expect a professor in a respectable American university to do his research properly and realize Sheikh Pierre was not impressed by the Nazis but rather by the Sokols, a youth movement in an Eastern European country. The Kataeb ideology is closer to secularism than to Nazism if you had read it Mr.AngryArab.

وأتى ‏تنصيب بشير الجميّل (أليس من المُعيب الحديث عن «انتخاب» بشير الجميّل؟) ليشكّل ختام المرحلة الذهبية، إذ بدأت آنذاك ‏مرحلة الانحدار حتّى التلاشي. فلم يتقبّل الرأي العام المناهض للكتائب فكرة وصول الجميّل إلى سدّة الرئاسة ـــــ طبعاً هناك اليوم من ينفي وجود المعارضة اللبنانية لبشير لأنّ المُراد اليوم أن يُعزى كلّ ما جرى من ‏حروب واغتيالات وصراعات إلى سوريا، فقط سوريا، لأنّ إسرئيل في سرد 14 آذار للحرب الأهلية لم تُرِد للبنان إلا ‏الخير (كما تريده لفلسطين، كما ذكرت صحيفة «المستقبل» في 15 تموز 2007 عندما تحدّثت عن «تكثيف» إجراءات ‏‏»حسن النيّة» من إسرائيل وأميركا للشعب الفلسطيني).

Again he bashes Sheikh Bashir Gemayel saying it is disgraceful to talk about electing him rather than appointing him … He was elected whether you like it or not and he was the only president capable of saving Lebanon from this Syrian filth and Arab filth eating it.

وخصوصاً أنّ القوّات اللبنانية نجحت في فترة ما بعد بشير بطرح نموذج مسيحي ‏أكثر تطرّفاً من كتائب أمين الجميل،

The Lebanese Forces is not a fanatic party, maybe u should bother read their manifesto and not judge on what happened in the war.

وشعار 10425 الذي رفعه ‏بشير الجميّل (والذي أخطأ حسن نصر الله في ترديده، وإن فعل ذلك لتأكيد ضرورة تحرير الأرض) لم يكن من أجل ‏تحرير الوطن، بل من أجل إخضاعه برمّته للسيادة الإسرائيلية التي أتت ببشير رئيساً على لبنان. ‏

Finally, another insult to Sheikh Bashir Gemayel calling him an Israeli agent …

If Sheikh Bashir is annoying that much, that probably shows how great this man was, and shows how weak are your subjective and unbased arguments when addressing El Bash.

A last word, the conclusion of that article, as much as unpleasant to you, is quite an achievement for Lebanon, and i hope what you are saying is true, and that one day the whole country will be united against The Palestinians & Syrians and kick them out of our country, maybe then we will live in peace.

Keep lighting a candle hoping for peace and talking for the sake of it, while we work on getting our country’s sovereignty back and kick Syrians and disarm Hezbollah terrorists …

It makes it sound like the palestinians were the freedom figthers that were only in lebanon to free palestine, and we got in their way.

Seriously, Bachir was an angel, and that massacre of 8000 or so people during the war was for the good of Libnen. Besides those people were disgustingly homeless.
As3ad should just shut up, and someone should tell him that that’s not how a democracy works.

This is my own view on the topic :

I always tell my co workers the saying goes
both ways ; they cant’t learn responsibility unless they have the FREEDOM to make their own decisions ( and sometimes their own mistakes) . I always provide guidance, but they know they have to make the final decisions (sale) and can’t depend on me to do so . My workers take their responsibility serioulsy and are proud of their work , because in the END THEY DESERVE ALL THE praise ( raise, recognitions) of their hard WORK and LEADERSHIP! The lesson they learn isn’t repitition , but hard work in order to CORRECT THEIR MISTAKES and be able to avoid them IN THE FUTURE!

My questions : What did you learn from your leader (bashir) ?

Did you learn anything from the past expereince?

Are you avoiding your MISTAKES?

Do you depend on your ownselves in order to achieve success?

Where do you stand?

Are you anywhere near your DREAM?

At last, you should not be mad at such post by alakhbar , unless you are the above , are you?

P.S : shiaa are wrong , da7ye is ugly , aoun is crazy , israel represent peace , syria is the devil ect lool……… If you have something political to say go ahead and say it otherwise AL SOUKOUT MIN DEHAB!

If it wasn’t for the “accent” detected in these comments, I would have thought they were mostly generated by hard core Jews and the like. Although posting your views is your right, analyzing someone elese’s article, twisting historical facts completely upside down, and then use your “expert analysis” to spread hateret has become very obvious an boring.
