Bye Bye Aoun …
Posted by N10452I was against elections in the first place, i was against such a clash between Christians, i was against such a clash before the presidential elections, but Aoun and his team insisted on going through elections …
And they fell in their own trap, and today was a dramatic loss to the General …
Few hundreds of voters are being disputed to decide who s winning !!
Who would have thought ?? Where are the 70% ya General ?? Where are the 20000+ votes u won with ??
8000 Armenians, at least 10000 to 15000 btw Murr and SSNP and naturalized voters …
This leaves the so-called General with barely 15000 votes !
Thank you Matn people for destroying this virus …
Thank you for proving Sheikh Pierre right …

If the FPM won the elections by a small margin, the only winner from the Matn election is Samir Geagea. But the sad part is that Geagea’s victory is on the expense of his closest Christian ally Amin Gemayel.
No offence to anyone, but once again, Geagea managed to use his closest ally to wipe him off and crown himself as the only Christian leader facing Michel Aoun… I would say bye bye Gemayel.
2. Rodge | August 5th, 2007 at 10:22 pm
Bye Bye 72% and welcome not more than 25%, especially among the maronites. Since if we want to calculate the percentages, we shall count: Murr – Tashnag – SSNP – Shias – Sunnis – Kataeb -Lebanese Forces – A7rar – Ex FPMers ( Maktab Tansiq) etc…
I just wish this elections were in Kesrouan, where there is no Murr, no Tashnag, no SSNP, but only Kataeb and LF and their allies.
Son, whether Dr. Khoury won, or Sheikh Amine, the result is so obvious, Aoun has lost too much, and it is a fact that no one can deny.
3. Lebanon | August 5th, 2007 at 10:23 pm
Gemayel proved that he has a huge maronite popularity in Matn Area, and thus he outcasted Aoun from the Presidency
4. Watani | August 5th, 2007 at 10:25 pm
May be you’d better read or watch the news before saying bye bye Aoun.
So bye bye Gemayel and bye bye Samir baabaa
5. N10452 | August 5th, 2007 at 10:29 pm
John,
Samir geagea already answered you on ur claim .. if Aoun knew it was Geagea who would emerge as a winner, he could have simply spoiled his plan and withdrew and let Gemayel win ..
Christians & 14th of March won … Gemayel & Geagea won .. even though the seat was lost .

8. George Bakhazi | August 5th, 2007 at 11:01 pm
Couldn’t be worse for samir geaga3…this result left two figures strong while he was hoping that one of them fade away
The outcome left gmayel strong, aoun won which leaves him a side
once again ga3ga3 pays his bad decisions.
9. George Bakhazi | August 5th, 2007 at 11:06 pm
i guess that after all what happened in the last two years, the clear outcome of this election is that we need a complete new election…a lot have changed, we cannot keep speculating we need to have definite leaders and move on
10. N10452 | August 5th, 2007 at 11:14 pm
George Bakhazi,
Why do you think Geagea wants to weaken Gemayel ?? He knew elections would be close or else he would have never supported Amine to go and lose because Amine losing means 14th of March Christians losing and it means Geagea losing ..

Where are the FPM votes????
Aoun’s candidate got 40,000 divided as follows
8500 for tashnag
around 15000 for Murr if not more
around 8000-10000 for SSNP
we are left with less than 10,000.

I wonder where is Elias il Murr?
I can’t trust this guy with a father like that! and why he is not commenting about this shit.
One think positive after this loss! Geagea and Amin together! Hope we can unite our forces. LF, Kataeb, ahrar, ketle and than chou ba3d bihaddina! Good luck guys and F*** hezbollah and MicheleDineAoun…
24. mikel | August 6th, 2007 at 3:23 am
If they didn’t have the votes, not of the armenians, but just those 2000 shi’a, we would have won.
And Aoun knows that he lost his popularity.
This battle has helped strengthen the relationship between all M14 christians, especially LF and Phalanges.
They may have won the battle, but we will win the war…
25. LF Forever | August 6th, 2007 at 3:33 am

Ali
These elections showed that WE have the christian majority.
Here’s why:
You won by 418 votes
There are about 2000 shi’a voters from nab3a
So if you take those out of the “mu3edale”, WE have more chritian votes,
And Aoun knows it
29. Jester | August 6th, 2007 at 6:30 am
Think again… You may have to keep this post as reference.
Both are Liars! Aoun’s media movement are full of lies, and the Pro-government are Liars… All Liars.. it’s written in stone their lies
and we love it!
30. Rodge | August 6th, 2007 at 8:37 am
Congratulations to Dr. Camille Khoury.
Anyone remember this guy?? i don’t see anyone mentioning him. We should congratulate him, and Aoun also for winning this elections, but i also want all FPMers, especially those who are commenting here, to read the facts and at least give us some credit.
- 3awasef in ur comment #13 u said huge loss, do u consider 50>2% against 49.8% as a huge loss?? if so, i think u should learn some maths.
- also 3awasef, in ur #16, u said together u didn’t beat General, it’s like General was alone. Shoul we have to name Murr, Tashnag, SSNP, plus those who came from Syria to vote and the Shias.
- D, u said 2ten3o wnno 70% min massi7ieh baddoun Aoun. I don’t know where did u see this 70%, when all the religions have gave him 50.2% with the big help from his allies, how can u say that?
The problem in you guys is that u always repeat ur leader’s statements without thinking for urself.
We agreed that we lost the battle, and results prove that, eventhough we consider ourselves winning for many reasons, and if we want to simplify things, we can say that we won grounds on Aoun from 72% to 50.2% and soon even better.
But in return, no one of u has agreed that u lost grounds, u’re still talking about the 70% as nothing happened. Oj u won these elections by total numbers, but please read the signs, or you will keep on losing grounds and soon numbers.

I watched the elections from Italy. Congratulations Ouwet and Kataeb for being pure Lebanese and Congratulations Aounist people for selling your principles to Syria and proving that you are 100% Anti-Lebanon.
No one is stupid Ya Michel Aoun!!! The whole world saw the cheap way you followed to win. Shame on all Tayyar people.

Hi all,
Im lebanese armenian citizen from Matn District, i vote with my parents for Cheikh Amine Jmayel, i would like to inform you that not all lebanese arminians are “TACHNAG” each one of us has his political Free line! God Bless Pierre Gmayel soul…with all my respect to all!
42. Krazy | August 6th, 2007 at 2:51 pm
Sergio, from Italy try to get the news from every side.
Both sides showed Syrians voting for the other side!
As for all the people,
Mabrouk to Lebanon!
everybody is a winner coz you (kataeb and LF) are considering yourself winners and technically FPM is the winner (more voted = winning)…
therefor, everybody won!
43. A Aounist | August 6th, 2007 at 4:29 pm
i hope u will publish my words coz i know the truth always hurts.

44. Rodge | August 6th, 2007 at 4:41 pm
So what now???
Ok Dr. Khoury and eventually Aoun won.
Mabrouk,
but how that will help the Lebanese, especially Christians, and more the youth.
When i saw young people frok both sides gathering yesterday in Jdeideh, i was really disgusted to see this dividence in our community.
For what cause???
Can anyone tell me what this will benefit those young people? they will find a better job, or even a job by tomorrow?
Will they forget about finding a good opportunity abroad and stop thinking about leqving the country?
will they live peacefully without being afraid of explosions and assassinations etc…?
will they ber able to go wherever they want and disclose their identity without being asttacked?
will they be able to live safe in their homes without being robbed or even killed??
will they be able to go to schools and universities without being interrupted in their semesters and interferred wityh their political or social thinking?
Will they have a better country, a better society, a better safety, a better insurance, a better future, a better level of life etc…???
For me, no one should celebrate, because we haven’t benefited as youth, as people in all level.
Maronitess have not won.
Orthodoxes have not won.
Catholics have not won.
Armenians have not won.
Shiites have not won.
Sunnis have not won.
Druzes have not won.
Non of the Lebanese have won.
Only Syrians and Israelis have won.
Despite this, we see youngsters following every word thei leaders say, so minutes after Aoun told his followers to go to Jdeideh, they went there, but what did they gain?? nothing of course.
Everubody think what are u doing, u’re creating bad leaders, so think again and look at urself, look at ur situation, look at ur relatives and friends and neighbors. No one is a winner, no one gain anything.
I’m a Lebanese living in Kuwait, it’s been 2 years now since i last went to Lebanon, and you know why??? because no one did a thing to encourage me, and they will not do, because as long as we are blind followers to our so called leaders, we’ll not have any benefit.
To all youngsters, go to ur homes and works, leave all the country’s squares and try to be productive. Do not follow ur leaders to destruction. Levae the downtown, and allow us to return to Lebanon and live ther in peace.

RODGE
I JUST SAW UR POST (30)
WHILE I WAS READING SOME OF YOUR OTHER THINGS I TOLD MYSELF THAT THIS GUYS SEEMS TO KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING AND I AGREED WITH U IN MANY POINT .
U R RIGHT THE THE DIFFERENCE IN NUMBERS WAS NOT HUGE, BUT WHO EXPECTED THAT ONE DAY GENERAL WILL WIN IN YOUR OWN HOME COURT …IT IS LIKE IF JA3JA3 WON IN JNOUB ….DO U AGREE WITH ME ???
2- IN AN ELECTION U CANNOT SAY WHO IS FROM MY SIDE AND WHO IS NOT …IT IS POLITICS ..NOW CAN U CONSIDER THAT TASHNAK HAS THE SAME POWER OF KATEIB OR OUWET ??? MAN 3IB NETKHABA WARA OSBA3NA …..EL JAME3A REB7O W FEJA2O EL KEL …IT’S OK BE ONE TIME FAIR GUYS …AND I THINK THAT U DID GIVE THEM CREDITS FROM WHAT U WROTE.
U , I DO RESPECT U BECOZ U DIDNT TALK IN AN INPOLITE WAY BUT WHEN SOME PEOPLE WILL TRY TO BE UNKNOWEGED SO I THINK THAT I HAVE THE RIGHT TO REPLY IN THE SAME WAY

It’snot our home court.
It’ Murr, SSNP and Armenians’ home court,
that’s why Aoun dared to run.
If it was in Keserwen or Jbeil or Zahle, where none of the above have any influence, Aoun wouldn’t have ran.

After Reding your comments I can say now
BYE BYE LEBANON
For God sake stop it.
Stop playing politician game. Stop fighting between each other like an UNCULTURED & UNCIVILISED people.
If anyone of you can tell what our future will be alike.
We know those politicians (ALL OF THEM) no one is good enough to say I want to take the initiative and do a reunion between all Christian’s or Lebanese parties. Everyone is looking for his own benefits none of them cares about YOU. They start treating us like numbers.
YOU ARE JUST A NUMBER FOR THEM.
Please let’s start working on our behavior first, & stop looking at your brother (Christian, Muslim or Other) as enemy, stop playing the Color, Flag, or stupid fingers gesture game.
They want to split us for them to rule, it’s the same game since 1890’s are you still leaving in a deep COMA!!!!!!!!!!!!! WAKE UP. WE don’t need anybody to lead or rule us we are civilized people.
Let’s start acting in a mature way with each other, it will start by your behavior with your brother, friends, neighbors etc…
Please guys’s let’s started a NEW ERA & teach the world what civilization looks like.
