This title resumes yesterday’s battle ..
Yes Aoun managed to win the Matn seat, after allying with the filthiest Syrian allies and feudal lords and thugs and criminals and after releasing threats and cursing his opponents and disrespecting the martyrs and the dead …
So what ?? Alf Mabrouk 3le …
Too bad he fell in his own trap, he lost the so-called majority, his only tool to attack other Christians and most importantly he totally lost all the Maronite support he had, therefore losing every chance of becoming president, and the funniest of all, he loses those votes to another potential president .. Sheikh Amine Gemayel.
Dont get pissed ya shabeb, his idiocy cannot but suit us in such times, he is losing ground without us doing anything …
Tabchoulo 3a dahro la yoz7at la 7alo, though i doubt ba3ed fi yi2oum min hal za7ta ..

The only questionable area is Ba3abda-3alleh. In 2005, March 14 allied with Hizbullah to win it. Other areas March 14 has a comfortable majority. Oh, I forgot, Harriri seat in Saida too! I hope that they are well protected and not do the mistake of not protecting themselves!

He had no chance of becoming President, for a very simple reason, his health is not doing very good.
It will be leaked very soon…
I am not talking about his mental health, which we all know is in a catastrophic state (as his night visits to sister Arze testitfy), I am talking about his physical health…

Lots of bla bla bla on this blog the last two days…
7. mikel | August 6th, 2007 at 9:22 pm
Aoun has been going down a slippery sloap eversince he signed the MOU, and he can’t get out of it.
Oh and John,
All that blablabla is coming from you.
8. mikel | August 6th, 2007 at 9:24 pm
If the elections were in Keserwen or Jbeil or zahle, he wouldn’t have dared to run cz he has no Murr,SSNP,or armenians there.
9. Mustapha | August 6th, 2007 at 9:36 pm
sorry for being an ass, but the word “resumes” has a different meaning in English (continues). I think what you meant was “summarizes”
10. CHARBEL | August 6th, 2007 at 9:46 pm
It is a pity there are no OPINION SURVEYS like in Europe and USA to precisely measure the popularity of General AOUN in the Kesrwan for example…It is likely he won’t reach the 30%: in Kesrwan there is no 2AWMIYEH, MOUJANASSIN, and no DEAD who can vote…

Bottom line: he won we lost, what hurts is that Christians still voted for him, these are the only people we can blame as everyone else was doing what they are supposed to. Honestly at this point I wish Aoun becomes president, so that then he will take this country and his supporters all to hell and they can burn in the fire of their choice. At this and age with scinece you can fix anything, but sadly you can’t fix stupid, and yes people get what they deserve, and obviously the people in Metn (regardless of sect) deserve Aoun. Ye3ni 3ayb hal eyyem yalli beit el gmayel ma fiyyoun ba2a ywaslou 3ala maa3ad niyebeh, regardless they are an icon of the christian resistance with all they gave to Lebanon in sacrifices and they cant get a PM, if anything that is very very sad….
12. Rodge | August 6th, 2007 at 9:57 pm
N,
As usual perfectly analyzed.
And once again, i repeat, especially to John, maybe he won’t read my comment in the previous posting, but the 47% of the Maronites that Aoun got it is not only for him. let me do the calculations:
53%: Gemayel - Geagea - Nassib Lahoud - Ketleh. (Those are the Metn powers of 14th March) 4 parties.
47%: Aoun - Michel Murr - Mukhaiber family - SSNP (Metn powers of 8th of March) 4 parties.
The difference is that on the 14th of March side, only LFers and Kataeb have a stong and wide popularity and followers, while on the other side, all the 4th powers have their bases and legacies, and i’m talking about Maronites not others.
So no one should claim that Aoun alone gained the 47%, which i personally dount it, i think it’s more 43% not 47%.
Anyway, i hope Orangists are convinced now.

Found this on one of the blogs today. Not that I totaly agree with the guy but still worth reading:
“Today, the loser candidate, Amin Gemayyel, held a press conference to explain his loss. Typically, he resorted to sectarian and racist arguments. He said that he won 57% of the Maronite vote while `Awn’s candidate won 43% of the Maronite vote. But that happens in election. Only 16 of the Christian members of the Lebanese parliament won with Christian votes only. Most of the Christian MPs in March 14 movement, won around 20% of all Christian votes in the districts. In fact, the district were designed by Rafiq Hariri (who consistently disregarded Christian opinions in Lebanon) and Syrian mukhabarat to produce Christian MPs selected and approved by Muslims voters. And then Gemayyel said that `Awn’s candidate received 97% of the Shi`ite vote and 50% of the Sunni vote (there are only a few hundreds of Muslims in the Matn district), and thus he can claim that Muslims made the victory of `Awn possible. Do you see that argument? (He also added that one can lose an election and be proud of his loss, and somebody can win an election and be ashamed of his victory). This is like a losing white candidate in a US election complaining that while he/she won the white vote, he/she lost because of the black vote. That is called elections, Mr. Gemayyel. Get over it, and stop exploiting the death of your son.”

“This is like a losing white candidate in a US election complaining that while he/she won the white vote, he/she lost because of the black vote.”
This is basicaly the most intresting part. I just wonder when we will get to that stage.

Read it this way ya Shabeb, 400 more votes next elections and you can get aoun and all of his ministers out of the Parliament.
Latet healdines on tayyar.morgue is Gmayel with Geagea and hariri money.
Walla i Don’t understand this, anytime we win, its money, any time we lose its also money, as if anyone voting for march 14 is being paid money. So bekfaya people wanted to vote for aoun but for 100 $ per vote they changed their mind. And in Beirut they all wanted to vote for (God knows his name) but haririi got them all jobs, oil, food, cars, tickets to australia and changed their minds and Super Aoun is actually asking them for Money to start his family business (OTV) and for their votes to give them freedom and haram he is sacrificing all of his family and friends for FPM.
Haram he took Zoubran Batheel out of his job to serve his country, as well as the rest of all Aoun family, Abu Jamra, and Maalouf.
March 14 is not for SALE ya Ahbal al Nass(march 8), we dont get salaries to put a Shadore, we dont go to free mahdi schools, we dont get salaries from Iran, we dont send children in suicide missions with keys to heaven, and we dont follow an ARMY deserter called Aoun aw la Ahad, we pay electricty bills, our ministers work for the money they get, we dont have 9 months paid vacation like Nabih Berri, We dont have Sandouq Nahb Al Jnoub and we dont live on other people’s land and property and under the runway of the airport.

John,
I don’t know why u keep on bringing tis bullshit opinions and post it here, while saying that u don’t totally agree with it. We all know that u perfectly agree and even u maybe the one who wrote them in the first place.
Also, i don’t know why u and ur friends always runaway from answering logical questions, or even commenting on our precise answers. But mainly it is something you hve learned it from ur Aoun. It is a vitus that keeps on kiiling every logic inside a person.
Good night everybody, tomorrow is another and better day
20. John | August 6th, 2007 at 11:54 pm
Rodge,
I always try not to make it personal and that’s why I restrain from getting into these debates. It’s just that sometimes I might have an idea or a point and I feel like putting it forward to you guys even though we might disagree.
I am not saying that I’m completely right or you’re compeltely wrong. I used to be a much more hardcore Orangist as you call us
But since I moved abroad a couple of years back, I realized that we spend too much time debating and fighting for politicians that don’t give a damn about anything but themselves.
Do I prefer the mad man over Geagea and the rest of the Maronite politicians? Yes, but I won’t kill myself for him the same way I would not accept the rest of them.
Goodnight and take it easy, after all neither me nor you would make a difference in whatever is being cooked for our beloved Lebanon.

To All Armenien Tashnak ,
Pierre Gemayel was murderred by an awful crime because of his politics ideas and we tried to take revenge by keeping his seat and by sending message to all these criminals that we are all Pierre Gemayel , If you kill one of us , we will do election and we will keep his seat.
Now most of the Maronites voted for Pierre to take revenge from these criminals and we failed because of armenien Tashnak voters . Now the crimninals are happy And Aoun helped them by taking out the seat from 14 March .
My Question How you feel now if Maronites went and gave flowers to turkish soldiers in south Lebanon or maronites supported Turkey in any election against armeniens. If you dont respect our martyrs and death how you ask us to respect urs?
Your the first people who were christians , you should help christians in Lebanon to be one team , you should work on the christian Values by giving death a respect .
Finally , I give full respect to all armeniens in Lebanon specially those who voted for us but Im speaking now about Tashnak about armeniens who support Tashnak .Is it a wise decision taken by Tashnak ? How tashnak feels if we did same thing to him by voting for turkey ?
26. bilal | August 7th, 2007 at 11:49 am
Sorry but i had commented on a precious topic , DIVINE VICTORY POSTERS. I think u ,as people who say that they love lebanon, should have a more democratic and upgraded speech which would make sense. Moreover, oun donot hate u . aouns winning donot mean that ur dead or something it means fighting with his friends against what is called american 14th march which is still working hard to achieve the american plans without permitting u 2 know . Believe me it is almost one year 2 see alot of changes. And believe me i like christians , while am a shi3i, we are brothers.
finally i hope 2 reply me in a very polite and mental way.
27. Rodge | August 7th, 2007 at 12:31 pm
Bilal,
U’re right in asking for polite replies, and i wish everyone will abide by that, but honestly i didn’t get 100% what you wanted to say in ur last comment.
Now Bilal, Ali, and all the guys and friends from other religions in 8th of March:
As i understand, there is an idea at people from all parties, that they are the ones who are doing the right thing, while the other party is implementing a certain plan. This is somrthing wrong, and it is an idea that was planted in our heads by the politicians. We are submitted to all kind of Medias, and we are receptors to many ideas, but we only believe what we like and what is much closer to our own believes. So all we should do, is to listen without believing, and try to analyze and see the fatcs.
For example, i’m an LF and eventually a 14 March supporter, i’m also totally against Aoun, but there are things that i don’t believe what the 14 of March leaders are saying. For example, the last story about Aoun meeting with Mohammad Nassif in Germany. It could be true, but i didn’t believe it.
Moreover, i don’t agree with the accusations that Christian leaders are following Muslim leaders, whether in 8th or 14th of March. Some of them yes, but not the most popular ones. i believe that Aoun is not working under HA, he’s an ally, but i’m against it. I believe there are things where he found himself forced to do, because of the alliance. He done this because for me, Aoun isd focusing on one thing, which is the Presidential elections.
We have different opinions, but we should not fight all the time. You are Shiites, and u found ur interest with HA, i respect that, especially that Hizb has done so much for u. But in return u should not defend Aoun against me, because u cannot understand what Aoun did to hurt Christians, he has done something similar to what Ahmad Assaad or even Nabih Berri did for you in the past. Of course u know what i mean.
I never defend Amal or Shiaa A7rar, i only criticize HA for his lebanese policy, not Shiite policy.
Let’s start from here, everybody knows better in his religion, we should start from here to move then to discuss lebanese issues, not internal religious issues.
Thank You

Aoun even sacrifices his relegion for presidency !
29. fadi | August 7th, 2007 at 7:42 pm
How stupid is aoun, the idiot wants to give up the seat for the presidency and unity government, Aoun you can stick the seat up your ass and rotate on it, as you know how it feels like from the syrian’s these days.
