There is a general concept that most Lebanese do not seem to understand, that mostly 8th of March followers cannot assimilate, is that we can be strategic allies yet debate about certain issues and discuss them, not just take them for granted, label them as Divine and impose them on our followers like Verses from the Koran.

I think this is the biggest advantage The 14th of March has, that the leaders have varied positions from all the situations, all falling within the same political streamline of course, and We are not ashamed of admitting it and this is indeed our biggest strengh.

FPMers & Hezbollah & Pro-Syrians keep waiting for a slight difference in points of views btw Jumblatt & Hakim to say 14th of March is falling apart ..
They wait for LF followers to critisize Hariri or Jumblatt to claim this alliance is too weak to hold …

Well my friends you are wrong, and you are pathetic to say the least.
Critisizing our leaders’ decisions, pointing out the mistakes being done, having different views mean that we are in a truly democratic alliance, even though a bit unequilibred cause of the political circumstances, but we have respect among our leaders, and a strong will to discuss all issues as a team, and come up with decisions as a team ..

We understand dialogue as one where people should compromise to find solutions for Lebanon’s sake, not where you want everything done your way.

The Cedars revolution is our greatest achievement, 14th of March might not be totally fulfilling the aspirations of its followers, This is only normal in any political party, but still the group is going on the right path … has the right political agenda and is fighting for the right Cause.

14M MUST prevail, this is something every Lebanese should keep in mind, regardless of the differences in views ..

To make things simpler, and as Hakim says, this is the natural cycle of life, this is how things are meant to be, and no one can go against that, and definitly not the 8th Of March team.

Wanabka.

    Well said N,

This is one of your best postings, and they are many, and i totally agree with you. But i don’t it will change anything in the minds of the 8th march followers, especially the FPMers, because their political views and ideas are based on nothing but their hateress towards the 14th of March, especially the LF. But still, maybe you could gain some of them by our side, like i already did with my wife, who was blindly supporting GMA for a long time, but now she realized the truth and can’t stand to him anymore and even she can’t stand hearing about him. Keep the good work guys…

    Nice post N.

It is nice to have two groups (coalition) competing democratically like in all countries, but unfortunatly we don’t have this in Lebanon.
For me, march 8 does not exist politically(as a coalition) for many reasons:

1- They don’t have common political view
2- They don’t have 1 definition of LEBANON
3- They don’t have regular meetings
4- They don’t have human leaders, they have 1 divine, 1 caesar and 1 fuhrer! (none of them do mistakes :) )
5- They have only 2 friends “Syria & Iran”

I wish one day we see the struggle between Gov vs opposition (regardless of who is in the gov and who is in the opposition) in order to get ride of the UBNORMAL BABY called “Demoqrateye Tawafoqeyeh”!!!!!
