That's your point of you view N which I totally understand, but for once we need to look to things beyond our religion and sect.

Lebanon is not for Christians or for Muslims, its for Lebanese first and we can practice our religion later each at his own will.

Hariri might have not been as great to you as Bashir was, but from a long list of people who effected the history of our country, very few bought PEACE and he was one of them.

The rest paid for war and made their fortunes from war and nothing can help them get back on their feet but another war.
ex: Hassan Nasrallah or Michael Aoun or Nabih Berri to name a few.

Valentine is still Valentine, even if 1/2 the population dies on feb 14, we will still go out and give a rose to our beloved ones and enjoy a nice dinner.

To George: Our country and its fortunes and its peak power in mid 60s and 70s relied on the Gulf countries and mainly Saudi Arabia. You hate them or think they are trying to dominate, then live with it since without the Gulf we are useless as a country.

Most of the money in our banks and the tourist come from the gulf.
most of our workforce is in the gulf.
most of our investments come from the gulf.

KSA is not trying to spread their fanaticism or fundamentalism outside as they are trying to fix things for themselves first.
If you don't know the difference between someone who helps you and someone who wants to steal you, then go please and open a company in Syria and apply for their passport.

The death of Hariri united "most"Lebanese for the first time in Lebanon's history against a foreign occupier. This unity lead to the withdrawal of the Syrian occupiers and was a major step towards complete sovereignty and independence. And if Cedars or any other smart ass cannot see how Syria is trying to regain control over its golden goose, then I agree, sitteen sennen 3al adieh.Still more to be done and tomorrow's gathering is another major step towrds the ultimate goal. If we feel that this occasion is not important for us Christians, then let's not waste more time and blood and ask Syria to come back and rule us again, or let's do what Aoun has done and ask for "protection" from Nasrallah and live dhimmis for the rest of our lives.

Every time has its man. Don't discredit people and please learn to appreciate. Visiting Rafik Hariri's tomb is just a small appreciation to the guy. It doesn't stop you from paying respects to other martyrs. Be positive. God bless Lebanon.

What common ground do I share with my political alliance ??? This is the first question you should be asking yourselves.

I had had no idea what it meant to see you standing behind KSA or its agent in lebanon (saad). This is why you lost the war. KSA does not match your plans.

Hello to all Love this Site and all the news and information keep up the good work, Just wanted to ask a question regarding March 14 event, I over heard in the Coffee Shop tonight that our March 14 Leaders were not going to be at the Martyrs Square Thurseday and that they were going to broadcast Live from a different location for security reasons. Does anyone have any information regarding this, is it true? I would hate to not see any of our leaders there I mean after all we have put up with in the end we are giving up because of fear? Please update any information please. Thanks Take Care to all I wish all the best.

That french idiot isn't worth mentioning. Even though I agree that I am sick and tired of imposing this celebration on all the Lebanese, and even though I agree that Sheikh Bachir has done much more for Lebanon then anyone ever will, the guy's opinions are extremist.

He thinks of himself quite highly, and likes to think of himself as someone on the in and in the know, while he is a she7ad like most of the people who share his opinions.

Cedars, I agree with you completely.
