I was not surprised the Opposition was silent after the bombing .. who will they blame this time ??
Israel bombing a US embassy convoy ?? or maybe self-hating Americans bombing their own men ??
Who is covering those groups capable of bombing our politicians and journalists ? who protects groups that hate Americans and are willing to do anything to harm them ?
Who graduates terrorists on a daily basis and sends them to Iraq ?? Who else but Criminal Syria ??
One would accuse Hezbollah of such an attempt, but i dont think they are interested in such things, they would not harm their image over a small attempt, not that their image is a good one .. but they take great pride in being criminals of large scale .. they cause death by the hundreds
You ask me who is to blame ? Al-Qaeda is a prime suspect here .. a group that doesnt have a clear structure, that is highly professional ( even though that bombing wasnt very professional in my opinion).
How to deal with this group ??
It is infiltrated in the Sunnite community, among the groups that unfortunatelly Sunnite leaders ( Hariri mainly) are failing to control, and is suppored by the the Syrians who are providing military and political coverage to them.
I fear we will see more of them if they are not contained properly. This might be the start to a long terrorism campaign ..
At last we can only say that more innocent civilians were killed, more properties destroyed and more injured people ..
May the dead rest in peace and may the injured heal, and may God help us.

The zionist enemy is to “officially” be blamed for everything! What else would they be amassing tons of weapons, use extortion and intimidation to get what they want? If they can’t get it then agents or traitors on the enemy’s payroll list are at work. bla bla bla….

I do not beleive that fundamentalists did it since usually they are suicidal and second they go for the obvious targets and do not track specific targets (as they don’t have the intelligence means).
It is likely planned by syrian intelligence proxies who can be within the lebanese security apparatus. This is the most likely way these groups are able to do it with impunity. and remember, they have been doing it for years now:
- Rene Moawad
- Dany Chamoun
- Saydet el Najat
- Ramzi Irani
- Rafic Hariri and the rest…

Al Qaeda in Labanon is a mirage. Only the syrian and iranian proxis have the possibility to gather intelligence and to have the logistic capabilities to commit such an attack. In Lebanon, the real Al Qaeda lack the assistance of a popular base in the sunni community. Since the assassination of Hariri, the lebanese sunni community is largerly anti-syrian and pro-western. Without the syrian and iranian intelligence help, al Qaeda can not act in Lebanon.

The attack is volountary a “low key” action targeting the US. It is a message. While in the Gulf, Bush accused Iran and Hezbollah of terrorism and called for combating them. The author of the attack knew that the convoy was coming back from the airport, empty, and was going back to Awkar. No high american diplomat was in. The objective was not to harm americain diplomats or citizen but transmit a warming message. Iran tightened its grip recently on Hezbollah by marginalizing Hassan Nasrallah in favor his assistant for political aspects and of Imad Moghney for operational aspects. The rapid reaction of Nasrallah to denounce the attack could be a confirmation that a group in the hezbollah directly actionned by the iranians was the perpatrator. Hassan Nasrallah was likely trying to distinguish himself from the perpetrators. It could also be a jihadist sunni group activated by the syrians to say to the US: don’t try to take the place of the arabs and french in the negociations related to the presidential elections and try to impose a solution on syria…

This is what a AOUNIST would say about the attack:
Israel was unhappy with the results of BUSH after his visit and decided to give him a lesson (even if America doesn’t think that Israel did it)!!!
Also France, was unhappy about BUSH visiting Saudi Arabia, just after Sarkozy left; so also they have to do with the attack (even if America doesn’t think France can do it)!!!
The Batrak, as well as ALL the BISHOPS and Priests and MONKS - who are american and french agents - are also on the Wahabites and Hariri Pay Roll even if they are unaware that they are receiving the money…are responsible because they block the election of NapoleAOUN…
This attack - was of course NOT in the interest of Syria and Iran - so look for the L.F, the Kataeb, the 14th March, the PNL, EDDE,… the BATRAK, or even SLEIMAN himself !!!
Personally, I think the ZIMBABWE did it !!!

Personally i support the idea of Mourakib in this regard, especially when he considered that the fundamentalists are suicidal usually. Of course they are, and we should ask why they launch suicidal attacks everywhere in the world and not in Lebanon????
Also they alweays issue statements to bear responsibility, why not in Lebanon???
and if someone thinks that the extremists and the Qa’eda are US product, they will have to think once more, because if they were a US product ELSEWHERE, MAYBE THEY ARE USED BY SOMEONE ELSE (Syria, Iran manily) in Lebanon with different style.
Also I see HA able to do these kind of things, at least a part of it, the part of Hajj Abu Zeinab or something like that, or maybe Moughnieh who are both working to topple Nasrallah
I think we have to expect more unfortunately
