  Well What happened in the last few days backed fire on those who attacked Aoun and FPM…..Christians rememberd days of war and Militias…..The problem is the leaders of those who did chaos. it was planned from the beginning……

  Although we may have different political views being on different sides this is one post I have to agree with. Lets stop and think of who stands to gain by the christians going against each other like this. Why do these politicians allow it to get this bad?

  lezzim nrawi2a ya chabeb. iran wants 2make an ilamic replubic in lebanon, by causing a civil war. is that what we want. even though aoun has lunatic ideas and we know what he wants (kirsse) but if we dont stop fighting each other he will soon be the president of the islamic republic of lebanon.is that what we wants??

  For all the christians out there tell me how can it be right for you to fight each other because of politics. With all due respect to the muslims, every day you have Shiites killing Sunnis and vice versa because they are the same religion but have different religious views. Now the fact that religion is such a big thing in peoples life each one has a point to fight for. Now with the christians we have maronites and we have more maronites. And they fight each other based on politics. They worship photos of Michel Aoun and Samir Geagea instead of putting up photos of Jesus. You burn photos of Michel Aoun because you think he is crazy but you forget he is maronite. Why is it when the muslim religion is insulted or Muhammed is insulted and made fun of, the streets are immediately full and the people are protesting there disgust of there religion being made fun of, yet when people make fun of Jesus we sit back and shut up. Instead when something goes wrong against our political leaders or if they are insulted, christians decide that these leaders are worth dying for and begin bashing and shooting each other in there own christian streets. What do you think Jesus would think of us now?

  I hate when people bring religion in politics!!! Who cares if Aoun is Maronite and the ppl who r burning his photos are Maronites! He doesnt care about Lebanon all he wants is presidency! Yes I know that we shouldnt fight between christians but if there is one person that is against Lebanon if they are christian, muslim or druze we should be against them!

  if you are talking about being christians and united, then why don’t u think of Aoun’s unchristian behaviours of not giving his condolenses to Sheikh Pierre Gmayel who most deserves respect. if we want to be united, we need to be united in EVERYTHING.

  Unfortunately my friend the politics in Lebanon is ALL about religion. Even the patriarch talks politics on a daily basis so how will you keep religion out of politics. Your whole political system is based on religion. Maronite President. Sunni Prime Minister. So please dont tell me you hate religion being brought into politics. Any true christian person will condemn the burning of any christian person whether you hate him or not.

  It is more than obvious that this killing was meant to weaken the Christian unity and the \’good\’ or let me say stable relations between Aoun and the LF.

  Aoun was aware of that and so was Amine and Hakim but they didnt act accordingly, Aoun waited for 2 days and started blasting everyone.

  Keep in mind that the only purpose from those assasinations, from Bashir Gemayel to Renee Mouawad to Pierre Boulos and Ramzi Irani and Tueni and Pierre el Gemayel have all one aim:
  Weakening the Christians by dividing them.

  IF the people realizes that, they would force their leaders to behave properly, but the problem is our people fell in the trap but there is still time to fix things, as long as the fights are democratic and btw youth.
