What if ..

The LF did sent a representative to present their condoleances ??

In my earlier post, i did suggest on purpose that the LF sends a representative for three main reasons :

1- to see the different reactions specially after i mentioned Our allies did visit.

2- to highlight the ‘mistakes’ being done by our allies.

3- to ask you a major question.

Firstly, i personally would be totally against presenting any condoleances to this terrorist, but the LF are allies nowadays to the Sunnites and mainly the future movement who considered at some point Hezbollah as a national resistance, and who went and stood in line to accept the condoleances for Moghnieh.

Second, If i were an ally to a certain party, i would appreciate if our actions are coordinated specially concerning such a move, and this initiative the FM took definitly puts the LF in an ackward position, whereas either the LF should send a representative to comply with its ally or clearly explain its position since they will be asked if they will go or not ( Probably on thursday’s interview with Hakim on Al Arabiya hosted by Gisele Khoury).

Third, i am truly satisfied with the overwhelming refusal of any sorts of condoleances in the replies.

Such a terrorist who polluted our image for 25 years doesnt deserve even being mentioned in the news.
So thank you for guys for proving me right, i will be writing something similar to my previous post later on tonight.

My question is though, if the LF did send a representative, what would ur position be ? And Why did we go visit Hafez el Assad in the 1990s when his son Bassel died ??

Dear N…. what are you posting is not related to any politics challenge. It is obviously some flying words. You wanna show that your English is fine, it’s ok we give you a credit for that but try to use your language skills in a meaningful post.

Well N, seriously speaking now, giving condolences to the HA is a political move to embarrass HA. On the other hand it may have a bad effect on the popularity of LF among many people, you just saw the replies …

i think it’ll be a good shot to break the ice … L.F should send a rep on their behalf.

I can’t beleive this, i mean this jerk off is a terrorist, what’s next if we can’t beat them, join them. This is bullshit.

N, my answer to your question is that if LF send someone to say 3awed b salemet Hezbollah it means you hope God protect these terrorists so I will say to hell with this LF leadership and I will not support this LF anymore. If Hezbollah was not doing this dirty game today then I can forgive and be diplomatic the same way I do with Joumblat but Hezbollah don’t want to stop being the killers for Syria and Iran.

If Hariri wants to give condoleances he is free to do what he wants I disagree with him but it’s his business. If we have an alliance in politics with FM it doesn’t mean we have to agree on everything, the LF and FM did not merge and we don’t have a MOOOO with them all we are doing is to work on the same goals in March 14: Sovereign State and Tribunal.

About Bassel Assad what Hakim did was WRONG in my opinion because Assad was our enemy but it is not the same thing like today, Basel Assad was not a wanted terrorist he was the son of a president and the whole world gave condoleances not like today. If there was democracy in LF the council would have told Hakim not to go to Syria.

Junblat said that the world would be better without him.

So why should we go give condolences?

Every action has two aspects , and every one of the two aspects has a separate ruling with regard to goodness or badness. It is possible for an action to be good from one dimension and not be good from the other.

From my point of view, sending a rep might look bad at the moment , but beneficial in the long run??? What if the table turn around (90’s style) ??? Think then talk .

    mmmm,

I think that a phone call is more than enough …

  • 14. Rodge | February 19th, 2008 at 11:48 am

I don’t think we should talk more in this subject, as it is closed, since if the LF wanted to send someone they would have done it by njow.
Also, i think what Hariri and Sanioura did in this regard, was aimed to cool things down, considering the Shiites-sunnis tension in the streets, which is not the case currently between the LF and HA.
So we should not discuss this anymore and move on to another topic.

ITs Easy man …If geagea would send some1 , The LF on the Same day would Be pissed . The next Day Geagea Goes on public and tells them “we had to this because of this”

The same Day all pissed LF will be convinced and will say :
    “ma3o ha2 el hakim”mush ma32oul chou fehmen hal ka2ed”

So dont worry about hakim convincing his followers what is wrong or bad .
