  This is te hypocrisy of Hizb-Allah’s followers. They don’t recognize the government but want it to provide electricity. They ask why we have deficit and they want free electricity, free phone, free water!!!

  Hizbollah also should establish its own power plant and generate electricity for all his Dahyeh people for free.
  Strange how they don’t count the electricity bills in the public debt. At least, 2 or 3 billions are not paid by those people in return for the electricity. Maybe they are paying Nasrallah to fight Israel with these money.

  I’ll copy and paste something I wrote about this issue on a political forum…

  First of all, I used to think that everyone in da7ye doesn’t pay the electricity bills (maybe i had been brainwashed by the media) but when I started meeting people from Da7ye, all of them say that they pay. I know they can lie about it but it’s better not to generalize the “not paying bills” on all the people in Da7ye.

  No matter what (even if they pay), they don’t have the right to go down and protest about this issue since the minister of Energy and Water is Muhammad Fneish who is a Hezbollah representative in the parliament (he has resigned on November 11, 2006).
  If any other party (including FPM) went down and protesting for this issue, then it would have been acceptable since there is no minister to solve this issue.
