Taree2 el matar ya baba .. taree2 el matar ..
Taree2 el mata chou b7ebba taree2 el matar ..

After broadcasting some news on the Salim Slem incident today, LBC played that song by Ghassan Rehbani. It kind of refreshed my memory on the old airport highway and how horrible it was, it used to pass in the middle of Dahieh and the sites were similar to Kabul :-).

However all that changed with Hariri and i must admit it was a very smart and intelligent investment to clean that road and change its direction and build a whole new one.

But i do critisize him for one thing:

- He should have put electric fences all over the highway to keep away anyone trying to block it, since it seems it has become a habit by HA & Amal thugs to go down and block the road.

Everytime two families fight in Dahieh, the airport highway is closed !!

This is inadmissible, the airport should always be reachable at any time and the army should be deployed at all time to stop anyone trying to close it.

Back in January, cars were burned on that highway without anyone intervening.
Today a group of 50 HA & Amal thugs tried to close the road and succeeded in doing so until the army stopped them.

And this wont be the last time surely.

It is time the government and M14 take things in hand and stop M8 from any movement that might disturb the country’s stability.
The tents must be removed by force, all attempts to close the airport highway must be stopped by force, no matter what it takes.

You should treat thugs like thugs, they want to burn tyres, you beat the crap out of them ..

It’s about time to do that … this is unacceptable. Blocking the airport road and the camp in downtown. People responsible for this should be captured and sent to jail. This is a crime you know, and that’s what I don’t like about m14, they’re just good at talking. It’s time to do what’s right for once, they’ve been talking for 3 years you know, but nothing was done.

    Michele,

Of course we believe it, because it’s happeneing with us all the time when we enter a discussion with an Aounist. The same is happening here in the blog.

Now the latest news is that another demonstration will be organized next Thursday for the transportation sector, and i think it will cause some problems, or maybe many, especially if it is not innocent as it looks.

A good news though, the LF smashed tofay the AUT elections by winning all the 11 seats.
Mabrookkk and it is another proof of the 75% of Christians that Aoun represents. Ha ha ha ha ha

All this and they are not even in control of the military or interior ministry. Imagine the new Lebanon with Aoun/Hizbull in power.
All this will become legal very soon and they will start teaching it in school.

Lost the electricity, block the airport road (lesson 1)

Lost your home from a fight with Israel, block downtown Beirut (lesson 2)

Get kicked out as head of the army?? don’t panic, you can always return as a hero and run for presidency and probably have more support. (Lesson 3)

Lose a war with Israel?? Blame the gov and ask for the right to use the ARMY in the next fight. (Lesson 4)

Honestly with guys like u, i still have hope for Lebanon!!!!
    May God bless u all!!!
(of course i’m excluding the orangists, praying that 1 day they will go back to their senses)

    Fad14 u’re right in everything u said…
but i think with march 14 way of dealing with the problem, unfortunately we’ll reach the day where Aoun/Hizbullah will be in control of all the government (and of course once in power, hizbullah will kick Aoun out)…

what’s happening is very dangerous.. from a president from march 14, the decision went to half +1 election, than they eleminate the half+1 option, later they eleminate their own candidates to agree on Michel Slaymen…
For the cabinet, as a majority march 14 must have 2/3, later it’s ok without the 2/3, half +1 is enough… later on they are asking for 14 ministers from 30… and now they are fighting for 13-10-7…

march 14 decisions are getting worse and worse, their position is getting weaker and weaker….

Franckly guys i don’t understand where r we going… time is not for march 14 benefit i don’t know what they are waiting for… for Hilary Clinton to arrive to the white house??!! and for a deal between US, syria and Iran??? because that’s what march 8 is waiting for…they r happy in this situation and time is on their side…

as Tareq said march 14 are just good at talking and franckly they deserve the consequences of their policies… but unfortunately at the end only the citizens will pay…

    Cheers,
