Another aspect of the “chaos” we are currently living is the amazing timing our dear ministry of public works sets for fixing our highways ..

The busiest highway in Lebanon, the one linking Jounieh to Beirut was totally closed between Dbayyeh and Antelias today because someone decided to pave the road between 2 and 6 pm !!

I am just amazed by their timing, when all buses come back from school, everyone is back from work, they decide to close the roads …

I mean seriously ?? Does one need an MBA to figure this timing is wrong ?? its pure common sense !

N well you said it is pure common sense, that is why they don’t do it…Because most of Lebanese don’t have common sense…Sometime the Goverment employee also enjoy torture of the other people…It is sad but true and many Arabs are like this too.

Let’s look at the cup as half full, i mean at least they’re paving the road :)

But Everytime I watch the news, i see a report about the roads in Keserwen, and how bad they are, maybe they need to take care of those before anything else.

It is not the the Ministry’s responsibility. It is that of the contractor. Unfortunately, no one pursues him or enforces the law on him.

You must see the timing they used to work in Kaslik.

Lebanon is closer to a jungle way more than to a country.
