A Syrian blogger has been reading our blog lately and i quote him have been discovering how much misconceptions some parties in Lebanon have about Syria ,and how this ignorant( sometimes can be described as racist )views and opinions reflect an existent sentiment in Lebanon that in turn affect the political positions taken by various political leaders.”

First of all, i was surprised that they allow blogs in Syria, specially blogs that promote dialogue with Israel. Just check that blog and judge for yourself.

Note that i am totally for such initiatives, and i was invited to write on this blog, but i declined the offer since it would cost me years in jails if they found out what i am doing in Lebanon.

Nonetheless, i would like to enlighten our dear ignorant Syrian author, who doesnt even know how to spell “relations” (Syrian Lebanese Official realtions), on certain issues related to this new trap Syria is setting up for Lebanon.

- Syria did not acknowledge the Shebaa Farms yet as Lebanese.
- Syria is still invading lands in the Beqaa and in the North.
- Syria is still controlling many intelligence groups and training assassination squads and militias in Lebanon.
- Syria still did not return any of our political prisoners etc .. etc .. etc ..

So Mr.Homsi, yes i am racist against Syria, against its regime and against everyone supporting this regime and every single military soldier or worker or intelligence officer i see on Lebanese soil …

PS: I dare you to go to Syria and tell the authorities you are writing on a blog filled of Israelis :-) , and if you need a ride, we have a highly skilled Syrian driver who would drive you there and get you safely 55%

Know your enemy … Syria is your enemy !

    N,

Anyone who argues otherwise is deranged and brainwashed sheep. Here’s the definition of enemy from Webster’s:
    http://mw1.meriam-webster.com/dictionary/enemy
    It FITS!

I will not go back 60 years of Syrian meddling, murder and mayhem in Lebanon…Let’s see how the bastard regime next door came into Lebanon. Through years of agitation as well as arming the PLO and other Palestinian derelict militias; they thought the moment was right to rape Lebanon in 1970’s…
Throughout the 70’s and to the eighties they brought in their thugs (Saika) murderers into Lebanon followed by their army…while constantly playing each faction against another. First; supposedly to help out the Christians (guess who was president…Grandpa murderer Frangieh)…then of course they bombed the Christians on days and months end! But, according to Aouny we should say thank you. Why of course they left Lebanon! I guess all murder victims’ families around the world should thank the murderers once they leave the country!
Of course let’s not forget when PLO and Syrian army were obliterated by the Israeli army in two days…That’s when anew terrorist entity was hatched with assistance from another terrorist state; Iran: Create a new terrorist organization from Shias of Lebanon…Hizballah! And voila they continue their murderous ways through those thugs. I’ve had enough of those losers portraying Shias as mahroumeen etc…For the past 15 years; they were the causes of Christian emigration and most likely participants and accomplices on numerous assassinations in Lebanon.
Let’s see how they earn a living:
    1. On the generous payroll of Persian Mullahs with millions of $$$$ of clean money “employing” Shia “martyrs’ (we saw their divine intervention in May 7, 2008 to save us from ourselves)!!
    2. Let’s not forget the thousands of the amal/ha losers on government payrolls. Now who’s suffering?
How can you have an unemployed Shia? Be a member of HA/Amal and voila: welfare cheque monthly! If you are a Shia with a brain and do not want to partake in this Mafioso scheme…then they’ll put you in the poorhouse themselves or chase you out! See the Sheik Ameen of Soor..
They have created the ultimate welfare state. Why change? Ever wander why Palestinian Leadership in Lebanon does not want any employment (hiding as refugees in plain site)??? Then they’ll lose their UNRWA monthly welfare cheques! See if Palestinians in Canada, USA or Khaleej get any of these handouts!

Syria continued murdering pols and regular citizens for 30 consecutive years!!!! Should we thank them?
N, you have detailed a simple few. Those are more than enough for us to know who the enemy is!

Sorry I went on too long. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

    Hi Danny

Don’t worry about your long post…people like you should never stop writing on this blog.

The Syrian regime will always have an eye on Lebanon. As a corrupt regime of minorities, Syria’s only way of surviving is by bribing its supporters and followers. Lebanon was the source of these bribes…cutting such bloodstream will dry up the corrupt regime. This is apart from Syria’s fear of the Hariri’s Charisma among Syrian sunnis.
Unfortunately, the Syrian propaganda against Hariri turned most Christians against him during zamman el wisaya. In fact the Lahoud-Hariri struggle at that time reflected the struggle between pro-syrian interests and pro-lebanon interests. We all know why Hariri was assassinated.

Hariri the Sunni is the real patriot that every lebanese should be proud of…Emile Lahoud and Aoun the Maronites are the traitors that every Lebanese shoud be ashamed of…So sad

I am so ashamed of our Christian fellows who fell in Aoun’s trap…one day Syria is our enemy let’s kill them all and another day Syria ya habibati let’s praise them all…shou hayda ya!!

Damn Homsis. Why don’t they fix their own retarted country before they preach to others.

And ‘relations’ isn’t the only thing he spelled wrong. (this views, existent, affect)

It’s sad how fast the Aounis forgot what the Syrian did to us; is leaving Lebanon (officially) a good excuse to forget abt all the atrocities they did to us n to them the Aounis?

Have they forgotten why they left? It wasn’t from their free will they decided to withdraw; if they ever get the chance again they’ll invade us in minutes.

However we shouldn’t really mix between the Syrian regime n z Syrian people same like the Israeli politics n the Israeli people.

I know lots of Syrians would support their regime bcoz they don’t really have the choice n bcoz they r brainwashed; but deep inside they are actually good people but have the misfortune to be born Syrian under the Assad family regime.

    It is true N,

the Syrian regime is the ennemy of Lebanon the way we want, and even if they recognize the existence of Lebanon as a state through the Diplomatic relations, in return they didn’t recognize it for real, as they are doing everything to undermine the safety and sanity of Lebanon, and they can attack us the moment they are able to do, the same Saddam did in Kuwait.

But what is worse than Syria, are the Lebanese (if we can still call them Lebanese) who are better known as Syrian dogs, and who are the real cause for our misery and who are allowing Syria to be successful in its quest.

In order to keep the Syrian regime out of our reach, we should be united, and I mean all Lebanese, which seems like a dream that will never gonna happen, so there is another alternative, we need a strong leader, another Bashir, someone who is able to force everyone to love and serve Lebanon only, someone who can throw all these shits out of Lebanon or maybe in jails for their acts.

This example worked well against Israel, cause regardless of our own opinions, but what allowed Hizb to fight Israel, is the unity behind them, all the people even those who hates or do not agree with Hizb, were against Israel and helped their Lebanese compatriots, so for our other compatriots to help us against Syria.

So Mr.Homsi, yes i am racist against Syria, against its regime and against everyone supporting this regime and every single military soldier or worker or intelligence officer i see on Lebanese soil …
    well i have a question.
if I am a normal syrian citizen who opposes the actions of the regime and want democratic change in Syria ,and supports deplomatic relations with lebanon and full recognition of its soverignty ,will you be still racist against me ?
believe me we are your real allies:)

  • 14. danny | October 21st, 2008 at 9:29 pm

yaser…Did you understand what you read?

  • 15. yaser | October 22nd, 2008 at 2:54 pm

    yes I understood ,
but don’t you think that if Syria and Lenabon want to establish deplomatic relations ,such kind of rhetoric must stop or at least be softer ,
it makes our task harder to convince syrians that we can have healthy relations with the lebanese who part of their government is so hostile to syria as demonstrated in those posts and remarks

  • 16. danny | October 23rd, 2008 at 12:14 am

Yaser..You want people to capitulate infront of a murderous regime? …who imprisons Michel Kilo and his friends? NO F’n way1

  • 17. yaser | October 23rd, 2008 at 4:46 pm

    danny,
that is the last thing I would ask of you ,as of any Syrian citizen,
I object to succumbing to the brutality and treacherous tactics of the regime ,but I will do my best to make their task harder ,by denying them all pretexts they can rely on .
one of those pretexts is that there are parties in lebanon that are hostile to syria which is used as a premise to give them an excuse to not respect lebanese soverignity .
