  miss3ab al zarkawi was jordanian, most of his suicide teams came from countries around the arab world including lebanon… jordanian families used to celebrate these suicide people with perlimant and govrnment people visiting the families ( remeber the demonstratins in baghdad against jordan?)
  in the year 2003 crown prince abdullah was trying to play a moderate role ..he tried to open up to china and sign some weaponary treatments… he refused to visit Bush to proteste against the american policy in iraque and afganistan..
  few attacks happened in saudi against compounds and westerners ( claimed by al quaida ) demonstatins hapened in riyadh laid by sa’d al faquih an extremist who was based in london and had a tv station there… few weeks later abdullah went to washington to meet bush…faquih was stopped in london, his organisation became terrorist and the attacks stopped in riyadh…
  the idea is that al quaeda and there groups is such a big name…if they allied with a country for certain reasons doesnt mean thay really belong to them…

What the Europeans did was hundreds years ago and the world has moved forward…The Europeans learned from their mistakes during WWI and WWII and built strong democracies and came up with the UN Declaration on human rights(proudly Charles Malek was one of the drafters)…Terrorism is a coward way of fighting coz it degrades human dignity…defending it is anathema…(no time to elaborate on that matter here)

  Regarding TV movies, the US government can do nothing about it because of the constitutional amendment on freedom of speech…It is up to parents to control what their children watch and not the government…

  The bottom line,if not for Western civilization you wouldn’t be able to blog or use the Internet…You wouldn’t have the latest treatments for cancer and other diseases…travel by airplanes and list goes on…

  Ironically, you send your sons to Iran to become fighters(terrorists) and you send them to the USA to become doctors!!!!!!

  Most probably, most of readers’ historical background is that one of his neighbors was one of the thugs that pretended to belong to LF and their beliefs. I think “readers” must go and read more history but I agree that when LF party grows again in strength, LF members should be careful not to accept the same kind of mistakes again, and that LF should be considered as a strength to all Christians even those who do not belong to them and not as a burden, because that is what I understand is their cause and mission. Also that’s why more organization and institutionalization is very important the soonest possible. In that respect, we all also appreciated Dr Geagea’s apology to the community, apology because the LF institution was not enough organized to be able to prevent bad behaviors. MOU2ASSASA na7wa al moustakbal and NOT some individuals na7wa al moustakbal.
