Syria invading Lebanon …. again !
Posted by N10452From WallStreetJournal :
Where is the “Divine” Resistance to free our lands from the invadors ??
Where are the “brave” HA fighters to kidnapp two soldiers and get us our prisoners back from Syria ??
Following a Aounist mentality, maybe we should sign an agreement (MOU) with Syria so we avoid a new war ???? Since our sovereignty, independance and dignity come second or even last for Aoun & Nasrallah.
As of this minute, Syria occupies at least 177 square miles of Lebanese soil. That you are now reading about it for the first time is as much a scandal as the occupation itself.
The news comes by way of a fact-finding survey of the Lebanese-Syrian border just produced by the International Lebanese Committee for U.N. Security Council Resolution 1559, an American NGO that has consultative status with the U.N. Because of the sensitivity of the subject, the authors have requested anonymity and have circulated the report only among select government officials and journalists. But its findings cannot be ignored.
Mr. Ban’s report is notable for its clarity and seriousness. Taken together with the border report, it paints an alarming picture. Though the land grabs are small affairs individually, they collectively add up to an area amounting to about 4% of Lebanese soil — in U.S. terms, the proportional equivalent of Arizona. Of particular note is that the area of Syrian conquest dwarves that of the Israeli-occupied Shebaa Farms. The farms, which Israel seized from Syria in 1967 and which amount to an area of about 12 square miles, are claimed by Hezbollah as belonging to Lebanon — a useful pretext for it to continue its “resistance” against an Israeli occupation that ended seven years ago.

SmaSh: Mike it’s true, and you feel it when you are around people who are from different faith. We all understand each other. Sadly, politically, they are all the sluts of the countries that are around us....

Mike: The solution is quite simple. Everyone of Lebanese nationality should see himself as Lebanese only and leave religion and politics aside.
Mike: Now I can understand better why you guys don’t seem to understand the premise of contemporary politics. All the leaders you see as great are in fact criminals of war. Napoleon sent all the tall young men...

We hope that this will open some eyes and brains.
But as usual, they will ignore it and act as they never heard of it. In addition they will send their sheeps, some of them came here at the blog, to say that these reports are Made in America, are Intelligence made, Hariri made, LF Made, etc… without even try to ask about the real case.
What is strange, is that the 8th of March supporters hate the Syrians in fact, especially FPM and HA, but they don’t say it, and their leaders ignore it.
Now they occupied 177 miles, and i won’t expect any actiom from the 8th of March, even if they took the whole country.

Why write about obvious! We all know that Bashar al khara is a no good Kulb but then again aren’t most of the politicians in the middle east?
Syria govt will continue to do this nonsense so long as our own government will not even public say it is happening to the people.
Why is the army not in the area polite asking syrian soldier to return to the toilet…and if no response…shoot to kill!
Ayesh lubnan!

As Paul expected, no comments from the 8th of March people on this posting, and it\s been for 2 days now and we saw many other comments on other postings after that. Even Galloway posting was more active than that.
