On the Actual Crisis …
Posted by N10452Funny how some people decide to ignore all the posts i write on our situation nowadays, and claim the silliest things in their comments ..
I am rewriting my opinion on the actual crisis, which i have covered in depth in more than ten posts already .. a situation that has not changed since months if not more ..
First of all, i need to make one thing very clear to Capparis and all readers of this blog.
I dont take orders from anyone, i do not belong to any party, i have no superior (except God), and i allow myself to critisize anyone who does mistakes in my humble opinion, and people who have been around here for a long time know what i am talking about.
Second and this is addressed to Ali 1559, or our christian shiite-wannabe sunnite hater member,
I dont care if i am being right or wrong about local politics, i post what i believe should be done and where i went wrong or anyone went wrong, i dont post only when it favorable to me ..
Finally, i have my own belief, i support the LF political thought which is not bound by any party or leader, and i support the LF federal project which is NOT currently adopted by the LF party nor its leader and i critisize them harshly for not doing so ..
I was advised many times not to be offensive and watch out for what i write ..
Well i dont give a damn, its my opinion and i will say it outloud ..
I am no better than Gebran or Bashir or any martyr who died for what he believed in .. in fact i am so small i cannot allow myself to compare myself to those great men .. yet i learned from them to say the truth wou li min 3ejbi yiballit el sansoul
Back to the main topic,
The actual crisis is not worthy talking about, simply because it has been ongoing for months now and the same problems are not yet being addressed by M14 team.
The problem is Syria, its borders and a local terrorist militia called Hezbollah.
Close the damn borders, elect a president by 50+1 or whatever, strenghen the army & ISF, give them more control, grow some DAMN BALLS and impose your will on those traitors ..
We have international and arab support, yet we are still negociating on what is our right.
M14 has lots of incompetents, Hariri & Sanioura are committing fatal mistakes by ‘protecting’ those salafists groups, and by not closing the borders, Geagea & Aoun are acting like small kids instead of agreeing and saving whats left of the Christians, and Hezbollah is acting like it always did, by backstabbing everyone wanting to free Lebanon.
This has been the situation for months, M14 is following the right political line but has incompetents in it, yet no Lebanese who believes in his country can afford dropping them and replacing them by a bunch of traitors from the Opposition.
This is the dilemna, we got ourselves stuck in the most complicated situation ever by including all countries in our minor problems, and we will never get anywhere by depending only on them ..
No one will help you if you dont have balls to impose yourself.
Gebran once said the Cedars Revolution is a golden opportunity, but can we exploit it properly ??
We are destroying this opportunity, killing it, demolishing it right now ..
Want me to go on ?? bikaffe for today.
Allah yer7am el chouhada bass ..

dear N10452,
First I support the confederation as much as u did. But as a beginning we should all (who believes in it as the last solution) explain it to the others whom are afraid of it. Most of them already created a bad image and many wrong definitions about it so to gain their support we should explain it to them carefully and clearly. to succeed in our mission we must be sure that this idea will be the main solution for Lebanon, so are we?
Secondly, the differences between Dr geagea and general aoun are huge.
1- geagea condemns the governments’ political actions more than once by saying it is not the perfect houkoume but it still better then the formers, While aoun is defending his allies all the time whatever they have done even when they attacked ein el remeneh.
2- Geagea is trying to calm his supporters while aoun is doing the contrary.
3- Geagea talks in politics while aoun talks men el zonar w nezil w me3ze w ba2ar.
4- Geagea said that aoun has a huge number of supporters as we do have (LF and kate2eb, ahrar) while aoun refuse to deal with this fact.
Thirdly, the presidential issue, the 14 M is trying to minimize the range of the conflict while 8M is trying to gain more political battles. For that reason 14M did not use the 50 + 1 to elect a president to avoid the big conflict.

can’t say it better N,
You presented the best description of the situation, as well as the behaviour of every party, and you said you opinion which is much appreciated.
But regarding the solution, i don’t think anyone at this stage has the right answer, or even have the capacity to impose any solution.
What we want is to change all the political system in Lebanon, and the confederation could be one or even the best from me and you, solution ever, but we should be realistic. in this current situation no one can impose or even suggest the final solution.
To be able to do so, a war shoud be launched and one of the parties should win it. Of course we Lebanese should better know that wars can’t solve anything, we’ve ben there before, but it seems we’re going towards the war whether we like it or not, because we are not Lebanese, we are religious parties only.

I support N with every word he had said. Personally i’m a supporter of the 50 + 1 but i think march 14 reached a point me of no return in the presidential elections. They should be working on one right now. In the mean while this government should start to take some actions most importantly what u have said and others like opening m3awad airport and khaskhasit il kahraba wil phone. And just as u said alla yir7am il shohada la2an badna kteer tanosal la2imanon.

very good point rodge. i believe that as we have been going through this crisis for years now and have not solved anything either we will keep going on like this where more and more people (christians) will leave the country or as it seems we should be coming to a final war to see who wins.
but at the same time this is very scary because if we do go to war it will be for a long time and as i see it a cicil war in lebanon could lead to a world war 3. so lets all hope to God that we will not go to war and things will be settled responsively, politically between lebanese and lebanese for us to have a better lebanon than we have now.
i get so mad everyday more and more as i live in canada i wake up the next day hoping to see something new and positive in lebanon for me to go back but it seems like a never ending nightmare.
we have to take religion aside and everything that has happend in the past and just think of us an our country so we can get past this.
i guess all we can do is pray everyday to God and as that all we lebanese will get through this soon, that all of this will be over.
God Bless Lebanon and all of the Lebanese…

You said the magic word BALLS and unless we grow some and to something once and for all about syria and hizbullah, things will never improve.

i respect your free and true thoughts
that is all what is left for us as lebanese, i.e. freedom of expression
i was checkin some movie parts on U-tube about lebanon, war , leaders , speeches and so on
it confirmed my belief that war was never a solution and that this country is for all its children
i disagree with Geagea and the current LF but at the end of the day they are lebanese
HA is a lebanese party even if someone doubts it
Israel is preparing a new war on us and they said it
Syria is no better
to make it breef
Don t loose hope in this country
Accept each other
and learn from yesterday’s mistakes

N10452, Hold my hand, and march together for peace.
Accumulate enough people, organize a mass of peaceful people marching all together hand in hand singing John Lennon’s “All We Are Saying… is give peace a chance”… all the way to the border in the south between Israel and Syria.
Grab enough media attention, and spread the love, and image that Lebanon wants peace.

N10452,
There was no need for all this melodrama and hysteria. There was no need for invoking God and the Dead, either.
It was a simple question (And not a claim, as you “claimed”) elicited by these clear facts:
The incident (Read: Massacre) happened on the 27th, and you posted 3 posts on the same day (When things were kind of gloomy and unclear), and then two posts one of which was simply reporting Mr. S. Geagea’s press conference (and not ten, as you claimed), and your blog was “glittering” with your own comments* and some other readers comments (like Nassif’s horrific hateful racist notes**, Nassif who seems to be a cross burning, Nigger killing KKK) that rejoiced in the death of these youth, cheerfully shouting for more BLOOD (While your own Mr. S. Geagea is shedding tears on the victims.).
Yet (then and thereafter), the whole media space (Minus LBC?) was boiling with rumors about LF men being the perpetrators of these crimes (Regardless of the veracity of these claims), and then suddenly, while half the country is discussing how the LF snipers “did it” (Of course, these claims were not solid at all) you begin to post about Snow and Cars (Come on!!). Was not my question due? A simple answer in the comment section would have sufficed (I would claim that you’re a racist on actual arguments, but cannot claim that you’re a blind follower). Why you chose to do a whole post about it (Instead of posting about all the hateful remarks that you never respond to on your blog) is your own free choice. That’s that.
PS: In what way are you and Nassif, Christians? In what way does Jesus shine in your lives? Could you tell me, when did He dance joyfully over dead bodies like Nassif did? How can you not respond on such comments?
* “Tfeh 3a hek cha3eb wou 3al hebel li le72eenoun”
** “Rouf fek 3an (Censored) sahbeh …. fik wou bil 9 yalli raho (chi3ah = zbelet el 3alam wd all due respect )”
