I would like to elaborate on LJ’s earlier post and address serious questions to Aoun and every Aounist who did not find anything wrong in Aoun’s latest statement !

Let us follow this twisted logic and get back 15 to 20 years behind and ask the orangists:

1- What was the army doing on the 14th of February 1989 in the LF Controlled regions ?
2- What was the army doing in 1990 in the LF regions ?
3- What was the army doing in Klay3at ?
4- What was the army doing in Adma ?

The Lebanese Forces were a resistance, protecting the Christian regions and standing against the Syrians and had its legitimacy from the people first and foremost.

How dare Aoun send his army men and endanger the Resistance’s security ??

I will assume just for the sake of comparison that both Hezbollah & The Lebanese Forces are resistances, knowing that i do not acknowledge Hezbollah as a resistance, but a terrorist party and a collaborator & Traitor to Lebanon.

If no Aounist has a convincing answer to those questions, then you just justified what you used to call “murders commited by the LF against the army”.

Thank you Mon General.

PS: And i suggest the LF opens a case against Aoun for giving such orders in the past.

The L.F. could easily say : “I am going to create an army because I also want to create a resistance against Israel”…

…and immediately start training people in the mountains and forbid the Lebanese Army from penetrating those mountains…

The Druze can also do the same…and all the Ma3asser El Chouf, and the Baruk will be forbidden to the ARMY…

And why not the sunnites? They can have their resistance against Israel TOO !!!

So we will ALL have our private TERRITORIES where the ARMY is forbidden to come…

How about that for a change???

Great idea MON GENERAL ? NO ???

My friends, we have better things to do!!!

Listen to the great Lebanese poet Charles CORM:

Car on n’a jamais vu , nulle part sur la terre,

    ni si petit pays, ni si vaste destin ;

que tant d’aigles aient pris d’assaut

tant de lumière, d’un peuple aussi restreint !

    Excellent posts

sorry guys but you are making a case with no bases… the lebanese army “liwae”which was taken to put order in tripoli and the north was taken from the south… you can keep saying that the army is not present in the south .. but this will not change the truth.. the majority of the lebanese army ( till last week) was based in the south of lebanon…
i do respect you guys and respect your commun sense.. but stop using the blood of samer in such a way…
    regards

Even Hizballah said no to AOun :-)

Sam, let’s be serious for a while, what’s yr opinion on the fact that general claoun asks the army to justify what is was doing there as if the army way the side under accusation?? pure madness or just bad way of expressing himself?(he should learn how to talk at his age…)

  • 7. THERESINIA | September 10th, 2008 at 4:05 pm

If the General of Rabiyeh wants to win the next elections we need him to talk MORE…

    Dear KOUWATJE,

    you are SOOOOOO right…

Myself, as an ex-AOUNIST, do you know what the actual Aounist call me???

They call me SALAFIST ! and that I am on the pay roll of Hariri, and of the Wahhabis!!!

I told them : “How am I on the pay roll and don’t get any money at all???”

They said: “You receive the money without even knowing”…

In PSYCHIATRY this is called “brainwashed”… where is the problem?
If their BOSS is Mentally ill, they must follow him as their SYMBOL of MADNESS…

  • 10. paul | September 10th, 2008 at 5:39 pm

i have a question not always you :-)

now seriously, why did the aounye choosen the color orange as a symbol ?

has something to do with Ukraine?

  • 11. Fuziyad | September 10th, 2008 at 5:50 pm

Paul, it is mainly because orange is an appealing color for the kids…

  • 12. kezballah | September 10th, 2008 at 5:52 pm

Great questions N but unfortunately people forget what General Putain did 20 years ago they already forgot that Hezbollah took over Sannine no one is talking about it anymore. Many people still believe this liar, he runs to defend Syria and accuse March 14 of killing their own people, he runs to defend Hezbollah and accuse the Army of treason, this man spends his whole life in the Army and he doesn’t have any sharaf or tad7ya or wafa2 to the country, we have to campaign hard for the next elections because if he wins anything it will be the end of free Lebanon.

  • 13. kezballah | September 10th, 2008 at 6:05 pm

paul they took it from the Ukraine revolution but then they said the invented it before Ukraine, they took their name from Hezb Al Wataniyin Al Ahrar (Tayyar Al Watani Al Hor) and now they say Dory is not the Ahrar it is Dany because Dory is against them (imagine Dany Chamoun if he is alive will be pro Hezbollah!?), same thing with LF they say LF is Bashir so imagine if Bashir is alive he will agree with Aoun that the Army should not go to some places in Lebanon, same thing with Kata2eb everyone is a traitor except Aoun, Nasrallah and the dead people who can not speak against them anymore.

  • 14. g_cedar | September 10th, 2008 at 6:33 pm

    Kezb,

NO ONE should question the army where it goes or what it does as long as it is doing so on lebanese territory. I myself dispute what was said by GMA, but I would like to see more debates from both sides on how we can bridge this gap so that there is less animosity between the two sides. It really isn’t about the programs and aspirations of what we as a christian community stand for, but rather a silly cult of personalities such as GMA vs DSG and it makes no sense. You have some good points, so let’s engage one another and begin a dialogue that can get us closer. I do not agree with all of GMA’s policies but I am also repulsed when all I get from the LF and others is insults…I am sure that you feel the same as well.

  • 15. sam | September 10th, 2008 at 7:32 pm

you know guyes … seriously .. i advice you to go back on your writtngs on the issue… it shows as if you were happy that such an accident happened… laughing about it .. that is sad..
rima i really wish it was israel who killed him.. am sure he would have loved to diye defending his country against the israeli ennemy but he died in a very sad accident … and the HA did not try to deny it… you can keep laughing about it .. which dont surprise me from a person who is ready to let down his nationality very easily..but dont be proud…
Khaye Fuziad… what can i tell you :) no one doupts that the general is a hot tempered person… but i dont doupt his integrity , honesty and love to his country…
    best regards

  • 17. lebanonhsh | September 10th, 2008 at 7:57 pm

i haven’t heard what GMA have said but got the jist from the posts.
This is not acceptable in any context and is not justifiable under any argument..
could someone please post a video link, i really woud like to listen to this..

    thx

  • 18. Fou2ad | September 10th, 2008 at 8:21 pm

N, the army was in the LF controlled regions after the LF declared te elimination war along with the syrians on aoun. Before there was war between the army and the christian resistance aoun never entered LF regions and he would ask for the protection of the resistance and had respect and loyalty to it, and now hizballa isn’t at war with the army too.

  • 19. N10452 | September 10th, 2008 at 8:22 pm

    Fou2ad,
Go back in history too, you will find out Aoun had problems with the LF since Bachir’s days !

“Go back in history too, you will find out Aoun had problems with the LF since Bachir’s days !”
    Ma ba3rif 3an shoo 3am ti7ké, aoun kén mas2ool 3askaré 3ind bashir.

And the fact stays that when there was no war between the army and the christian resistance, the army was not present in their regions.

  • 22. N10452 | September 10th, 2008 at 8:54 pm

You did not get my post did you Fou2ad ??

Why did Aoun send his army to the LF regions and why did he attack them ?? specially after how he was justifying the HA attack yesterday ?

  • 23. THERESINIA | September 10th, 2008 at 9:03 pm

READ, READ, READ …today’s declaration of BCCN accusing AOUN of betraying his military OATH !!!

AOUN is not “Hot tempered”, he is MENTALLY ILL…

    Have you spoken with him?

Did you ever sit with him for a few hours?

Did you have a “one to one ” meeting with him???

    Do you know the guy?

    NO YOU DON’T… I DO.

  • 25. Rodge | September 10th, 2008 at 9:15 pm

    N,

Did you lose ur mind bro??
Are you seriuosly waiting for the Aounis to answer these questions or any question??
you will not have any. this is typical.
to prove that, just look at the 2 aounis replying to the post, you have sam and fou2ad, and with many replies they didn’t make any effort to answer, instead they have adopted the same policy of distortion, so they will speak about anything except the right answer, or at least thier opinion regarding the question.

  • 26. Rima | September 11th, 2008 at 2:48 am

    Ya SAm

I am not laughing about it at all. I am not the one who invaded Beirut and the jabal or sakkar el tourkat bil dawalib or caused more than 1000 lebanese to die so we can free kuntar and claim divine victory…Although that is a joke from hassouna

I am not the one WHO laughed when EIDO, JUBRAN AND OTHERS DIED…BUT FOR SURE I AM NOT PROUD TO BELONG TO A COUNTRY THAT HAS PEOPLE LIKE AOUNIS AND HA AND CO in it…the country I am pround of is the country teresina described to you in previous posts…
stop lecturing us like ABOU MILHEM!!!!!!

  • 27. Rima | September 11th, 2008 at 2:53 am

    Fouad

you are dwelling on the past…you are emotionally stuck in 1989…the future of Lebanon is at stake and you are still arguing about the sanctity of Aoun…who cares? just wake up
