  i share this frustration you are voicing in this article. i have been waiting for our government to actually do something. for the LF to show that they are capable, as members of parliament and the government to portray their strength. but it hasnt happened unfortunately. maybe its time for us to start fresh. to have new, more competent parties, with members that actually work for the people and with them.

  the LF sent a group to check those areas and assess the damage and provide any help necessary within the party’s capability.

  It’s a shame that LF still quiet and doing nothing on this subject.Most of the people who support LF beleive that LF is the only political party who can defend christian community & presence in Lebanon.Thats why during the war LF was called christian resistance. Now, after the war has ended , we saw hizbullah paying 12,000$ to his people and then the government willing to pay 40,000$ to the refugees whereas Christian refugees from the mountain war that happpened in 1983 still waiting the money after 23 years. Is this fair?. I didnt hear any objection from LF leaders who are represented in government why Christian people in mountain didnt get paid now like other communities . Christian people are leaving the country and foreigners coming in their places so congratulation . Finally , I would like to say that we lost the war and we lost the last election and we will continue to lose if we continue with this mentality . WAKE UP LF. We cannot hear ur voice.   Are you deploring your party for being slow to help out? or are you deploring it for letting the others “take advantage of the misery of people” faster than you did?

  I really hope you are not implying the LF doesnt have enough money to help the refugees, but even if it didnt, there are many other ways to help ..

  Those people are our people, part of our family and we should be helping without them asking for help.

  And one last thing, i d rather sell my villas and stay in a normal appartment than see LFers getting paid by Hezbollah.

  I read the article you wrote, but do you know that the LF have no money at all? Do you know that Geagea’s guards are all volunteers? Who helps the LF? All who are in the government, or outside the government, have been stealing everithyng for the last 16 years. For this reason they can help, they can send money and do bridges. We must pay attention about what we write and say. Hakim and all the LF are very earnst people: nobody has stolen anything, so they have no money to help people.

  LF has money. Adwan said they ll give us soon ( 6 months ago) a detailed explanation on the LF properties and their money.

  man lf is not as strong as it was and i appreciate always ur articles and comment on them most of the time but i think u ve being lots more critical these days about hakim and u look like loving il cheikh abchir much more than geagea lf was stopped and blocked for 15 years man
  while tayyar has been on all the time since u always try to compare they are much ahead of us , i think we have to help il hakim our selfs not wait for miracles. always appreciating ur comments budy

  Guys we are not discussing the real issue .The issue is not about Samir Geagea if he has money or not . The issue is why LF till now staying quiet about mountain refugees. this is the issue . Why they dont talk about this subject why they agreed that the government paid 40,000$ to people in the south and didnt pay any single $ to mountain refugees. Why Joe Sarkiss didnt object on this.Many people blame LF for mountain war including Walid Junblat ,I think LF shouldnt accept that the goverment pay 40,000$ to people in the south while christian people in mountain waiting their beloved government to pay them since 23 years. Finally , I will ask if the mountain refugees were druze , what do you expect Walid junblat to do . Do u beleive he will stay quiet like LF doing now ??????????.Christian people are just looking with sadness how government taking care of people from south and how they are returning to their homes while them they are still refugees for 23 years and no one know and maybe they will still for 2300 years if our leaders kept quiet .

  Thank you Shadow for pointing out what i have been trying to say. LF was the one taking initiatives all the time, not the one trailing behind.

  The LF to me is neither Samir or Bashir, my LF is the Cause and the Martyrs and the Federal project.

  As for helping out, looks like the LF nowadays does not accept people who critisize the mistakes being done, which is also something i wasnt used to before.

  No one defended and still defends Hakim like i used to do and still do, i translated Hakim\’s ideology word by word, defended his cause and thoughts wherever i went, asked for his release at all costs and even majorily helped in founding a site dedicated to him only.

  Hakim is a great man, but has a greater responsability nowadays which he agreed to take upon himself when he got jailed.

  He needs to assume this responsability with great wisdom, and critising the decisions being taken i believe is a very constructive thing for him and i wish he was reading us.

  N10452, may i ask you what is the cause?!!? Sorry to break it to you but no one really knows what the cause is any more. Some even say that it has died out. Anyways my hopes are still high for the LF. The LF doesnt have money at the moment which is why it is not helping the villages in the south

  John , We all know that LF doesnt have money like Tayyar or Hizbullah or Hariri or Junblat .The issue is why LF represented by Joe Sarkiss accepted the decision of government to pay 40,000$ to refugees of south and ignored refugees of mountains that they are still waiting the money from 1983 . Even the last achrafiyeh incident still waiting for the money . I think that the government should treat all people equally and if it didnt LF should at least object on this .

  it’s the responsibility of the Goverment and not anyone else to help the refugees and pay for the destroyed houses…
  what Hizbullah is doing is just a money laundry, and if we have goverment they must check from where he gets this dirty money (in US dollar), all other parties like FPM & PCL are just making propagonda not solving a crisis…
  we shall be aware of this propaganda, no one shall take the place of the Goverment in this issue through Haiat elk 3oulia lleghasseh…
  now all money laundrers in the world are trying to find a place on our land to do their dirty job… well the conspiracy continue on our beloved country, the game continue too, Hizbullah attack, Israel Distroy, Hizbullah and other Mafia make the money laundry and gain more political force by this money… where;s the goverment????? i beleive it’s time to say it white or black away from the hues of grey…
  Hizbullah has distroyed Lebanon.

  Man please dont take it personely and i agree with you on most of the thing u always point out but do u think ino hakim or lf have the money and are not helping , i really know much more than all the people that critisized ur article what a great person and what great ideas u have but when we talk about money and LF it is not the same any more man khalas ……… no more money no more ports airports …. raho we have to rebuild , and one of the best ways of rebuilding is to do and critisize ,but nowadays US as LFers we are just critisizing (including me) we are kinda ok il hakim bizabita la2 il hakim can not do everything alone il hakim had gret guys next to him at the time and i think we should find great people to put them in our Party and who i blame is our ministers including zahra, sarkis……..hole hine lol ino badna 3alam mitl paul 3indereh min il kozah …. badna nihna nirga3 the same ouwet taht were when il hakim was in jail yalla ya chabeb yalla oulo alla

  We should all be unified under Hakim in order to have Strong LF that we all dream about it and by having strong LF we will have strong Chritian community.

  Ramy,
  I did more than critisize and got nothing in return. There are several bad elements in the LF today starting from the student body led by an incompetent that are still in their positions and this is unacceptable.
  You tell me we need time to change them, its been more than a year and those critisizing constructively those people are not being received or listened to and i am talking out of facts.

  It is unacceptable to have people like Antoine Najm, Viviane Dagher and Massira, ex LF-Officers and many other personalities not implicated in reconstructing the LF.

  until proven otherwise, my information tell me that we have money and loads of it. Hakim was not a stupid person to get into jail broken wou fehmak kfeye.

  Check the http://www.lebanese-forces.org official site and read the manifesto, you ll know what our cause is.

  The LF Cause was always the same, few LFers tried to changed it but in vain, at least so far.
