Jeish or Djej ??
Posted by N10452When i saw the army for once doing its job correctly, i felt for once proud of this army, bass ma3 ghassa ..
I never expected anything from an army that has a sissy leader such as Sleiman, that has done nothing throught the past 20 years maybe, except arresting and beating its own people.
I understand that before actions required a political decision, well now they got a green light to do whatever they want .. This is the FIRST time since 1969 the army is given a green light, and Elias El Murr sounded so firm and decided and knowing he has a personal issue against Palestinians, i thought he will act.
Its been days now and nothing, all i see are checkpoints in Antelias and Jounieh and Dora and Christian regions, and commandos in their best uniforms going North, holding those M4 and M16 commandos as little toys and going to stand there and do nothing.
Nasrallah is against an operation on the camp, Abou el Ainain is threatening ..
What will the army do?
I say it will chicken out as usual.
I was asked to put a flower for the army martyrs who fell, and in support of the LA.
I didnt and i wont, may they rest in peace, but thats not how a national army reacts when its people are threatened by terrorists.
Those were victims and will be considered killed in vain if the army doesnt storm the camp.

you sound a bit bitter there…I don’t think you are being logical
3. N10452 | May 27th, 2007 at 12:48 pm
Why not logical Nancy ??
If we do not act now, those groups will grow larger and with the presence of Syria and Hezbollah terrorists, they will be given a further coverage for their activities.
The army needs to act now and fast, to finish off those groups before they expand dangereously, HA will find itself obliged to control them as well since they are a threat to him.
Each Commando has a 6000 $ gun and is highly trained, and we have a huge unit of those, not to mention the ISF special forces .. we can surround every camp and disarm every single Palestinian if there is a will to do so .. we cannot drag this thing forever ..
We just need a strong army commander, mich bsayne mitil Michel Sleiman.

Man, take it easy on them; it’s true that the army was forced to execute some dirty stuff in the past ten fifteen years. But remember that the army is controlled by gov’t politicians and is forbidden to question the political motives behind an order: Naffeth soumma i3tared.
If you recall the previous Ministers on Interior, you’d understand the point I’m making: Suleiman Frangiyyeh (?), Michel el Murr (??) I mean, come on man.
If you read between the lines in Nasrallah’s speech, he’s threatening to influence the shias to withdraw from the army, and that is really serious matter man. Believe me he can do it. That is why the political decision has been hampered.
Although I totally agree that they should wipe out the terrorist Fateh al Islam, there should be no stubbornness in execution.

Do you think Lebanese forces is better?
You should be ashamed of yourself. I am Lebanese Christian from south Lebanon, and so proud with the Lebanese army.
What the Lebanese forces done for the Christian people other than displace them from there homes.
Samir geagea went to south Lebanon to protect Christian people, oh yes, I mean to displace Christian people from there homes.
What you had done?
Tactical withdraw from south Lebanon, and the Christian people suffered and left there homes because of him and those rambos.
Do you want more?
Lebanese forces as usual displaced Christian people from (Gabal loubnan, alaie, zahle, iklim al kharoub, damour, etc….
You are talking about(general Suleiman).
People like you talking about the Lebanese army like that, should get more than that.
There are some Christian people left in Lebanon, we don’t want you or some rambos like Lebanese forces to protect us, I mean to displace us.
I would rather let houzballah protect me, not rambos to displace me from homes.

Habib,
Displace you ?? Ya di3an el hundreds of martyrs who fell in the Mountain war to save people;s lives !! tol3o to displace you ??
Let Hezbollah protect you then .. enjoy their company and veil your women mazelak hek ..
You judge the history of the great Resistance in Lebanon’s history that gave away more than 5000 martyrs to protect you and your family to the actions of few thugs who had nothing to do with our Noble Cause ..
Go double check on ur history achraf .. and note that the army is the most shameful and useless institution that was ever founded in Lebanon .. and i am responsible for every word i said.
