  About selling lebanon, this was dont 14 years ago by harriri so that his saudi friends can buy lands, no one complained back then (murr, franjieh) but hey this is irrelevent now.

  about the rights of the children in islam, whatever, can someon explain it to me i have no idea.

  Anyway if it is true then sarkis should be held responsible and should be changed, however, they will say that there is only a couple of month left so why stop now.

  Guys,

  I think many people will not like what i have to say here, but in my opinion, i see that the “Mustaqbal” movement are trying, as every party in power, to make every thing they can to ensure their interest, and ultimately the interest of Saudi Arabia, and the Sunnis community. So, the question, are they doing the right thing? For us, they are not, but for others, mainly the Sunnis and some other religions, this performance is making them happy. Let us say “Fi Id w Ijr”, ok but this was always the case in Lebanon, for each party tries to take as much as it can, and in return the others try to preserve their rights. this what the Shias were doing all the previous 17 years or so, while we the Christians are losing a great deal now. But that was the case also when we were in power before 1975, since we were making all in our interest, and I hope this period will come back, but it won’t, so it’s a matter of one side trying to win as much as possible, while others are trying to fight this trend. But it is a complete Democratic process, because at least we are still able to change the decisions taken, while under the Syrian governance, we were not able to do anything, and all the decidions were confirmed. Of course we made lots of mistakes (the Holy Friday and now this mistake etc…), but we are able and we did change them, we have the Patriarch who’s much respected from all parties, especially Hariris, and he can tackle these issues and enforce changes and modifications. In conclusion, i don’t think what is happening as dangerous, because no one can dominate Lebanon, no single party or religion can, and we still as christians have things to say and to do. Our problem is that we are divided. Look at the Shias, most of them are behind HA, and the Sunnis behind Hariri, while the Druzes are follweing Junblatt. we as Christians are so divided, some behind the LF, others follwing Aoun, Frangieh, etc… Bachir was a great leader in everything he did, but the best thing he done is that he managed to unify the Christians, and that’s what the others failed to do. I think only the Patriarche can undertake this responsibility now

  Delta and others,

  I didn’t want to make any comment before I go back and check what was that new agreement talking about and where are the negative points.

  Please guys, forget my religion that and take my comments as any ordinary person who is asking additional questions added to your all questions, taking into consideration that I will NOT defend anybody.

  The current government is composed of 17 ministers (7 Muslims and 10 Christian). So we have two options only for such a new agreement to be approved by the WHOLE government:
  1- The Muslim ministers OBLIGED the Christian ministers to sign on it.
  2- The Christian ministers didn’t find any problem in such an agreement and therefore they signed.
  So, which option took place? I don’t know.
  If option 1, then it is a disaster and it is the beginning of HELL.
  If option 2, then it is the Christian ministers fault (NOT ONLY JOE SARKIS) because again they are not consulting the Patriarch.

  Here, I want to ask everybody, DID you read that agreement? Please go and read it and you will find that it is so silly and funny, you know why? What does the Muslim child in all Muslim countries has more than the Lebanese child? NOTHING AT ALL!!!! The LEBANESE child (whether Muslim or Christian) has more RIGHTS than any other Muslim child on earth.

  Also, suppose there is a Worldwide Christian committee that takes care of the Christian Children rights. Where is the problem for Lebanon to attend it since it is applicable ONLY to Christian children?

  Once again, I am not defending this silly agreement and I am just asking questions.

  Now we come to all FPMs who posted comments here:
  LOOK, whatever you do to create a problem between Sunna & Patriarch, YOU WILL FAIL (as usual) especially when you PLAY on the religious tone. This will not give you a single additional Christian vote!

  I agree with your comment, but i think the government and especially president Sanioura and the Ministers from Mustaqbal should be more careful not to raise any issues that could turn people against them, or make a scene of it. I think what we really want, is for Muslims to take more care about Christians rights, and in return Christinas should also take much care about the Muslims interests. But after all, this is Lebanon, and you can’t change people’s mentality that fast.
