Third, the Baathist regime in Syria is not an ideal gov at all. Very corrupt. Even more than the Lebanese one. But atleast in Syria; you are not marginalized for belonging to a certain religion or constantly asked about it. But for all who say that Syria is an arch enemy. In 2006, 1 million Lebanese were evacuated and went through syria. Those arch enemies opened up their homes to us just like the Lebanese here did. Yet you don’t consider Israel your enemy?
