From Xerxes to Ahmadinajjad
Posted by N10452Imagine how powerful was the Persian empire back then and was led by the great Xerxes, a 2 meter long thought ‘perfect’ man and considered as a god and now you have Iran led by a filthy close-minded president Ahmadinajad ..
I guess they got uglier by the years, just check the two

Well anyway i dont know why i had this thought on my mind, even though Xerxes was treating his slaves like dogs compared to the Greeks back then who were promoting freedom and democracy.
I was reading reviews of the movie 300, and i found lots of condemnations by the Iran republic, i know those stories are over 2 weeks old, but i havent watched 300 until lately.
Iran accuses Hollywood of ‘psychological warfare’
Hollywood is already firmly established as a source of cultural decadence in Iran’s pantheon of hated western symbols.
But now the country’s Islamic leadership has accused it of “psychological warfare” over its depiction of the battle between the Greeks and Persians at Thermopylae in 480BC, regarded as a key event in the birth of western democracy by some historians.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s government has joined MPs, bloggers and local media in denouncing the newly-released Warner Brothers epic, 300, as a calculated attempt to demonise Iran at a time of intensifying US pressure over the country’s nuclear programme.
Apparenlty, there was also a protest.
People are so silly these days walla, its just a freaking movie ! enough with the conspiracies ..

This is just dumb, given the fact that 300 is based on a comic book by Frank Miller that was release in 1998, and the comic book itself is a retelling of the Battle of Thermopylae, and considering that Hollywood is on a roll in turning comic books into movies, 300 had to come up sooner or later.
I saw the movie yesterday, and I don’t see how could this offend or be used as a psychological weapon against Iranians. 300 has nothing degrading, Iran is just seeking another excuse and pretext to continue with the bullshit that has been going on between them and the USA for years now.
Just go see the movie people, such statements are as stupid as the ones that were given to Mel Gibson with the release of The Passion of the Christ, describing it as being Anti-Semite. As a matter of fact, Iranians are no better than Jews, they hide behind the same excuses every time for pure political reasons.
